Sagone Hishukato [sorry, it was the only pic of a dude that looked kinda how i wanted. no he is not a bad guy. although i will eventually make a bad char....] my guys are sorta bad but not really^^ Derek ran to a river and jumped in. he washed himself of the blood and shivered in the frigid waters. he slowly took his clothes off and draped them over a nearby bush to dry. he got out and wiped himself off and changed into his other clothes. he felt like his wet hair was freezing his head and knew he needed some ale or hot beverage to warm him up. he gathered his things and went back to the tavern.

The messenger stood in front of Lutharian and Sagone, and handed Lu a slip of paper. He nodded and walked off. Lu opened the paper and read it. mid point his brow started to get furrowed. he frowned and hastily told Sagone he had to leave immediately. "but why? you just came home! must you leave again? i want you here! i need to ask you something important..." sagone trailed off. Lutharian sighed. "i am afraid i must. i wish it was different. truly. sagone, i...i....will...cant...i, uh,...want you to take care of Chica...for me." (Chica is Lutharians pet bird. she is beautiful falcon). Lu then started walked away. "Lu! wait! please! are...are you engaged? do you love someone?" sagone asked then wished she hadnt. Lu stopped and froze. he slowly turned around and walked up to sagone. he placed his hand softly on her cheek and looked deep into her blue eyes. "yes i am. in my dreams. i am engaged to you. i want to be with you forever." Sagone gasped and then fell into his arms. she had never been happier. "me also" was her reply. she wanted this moment to last forever. "sagone, i am sorry but i must go. i have no idea as to when i shall return. i..i love you. take this. it will protect you," Lutharian said as he handed Sagone his beautiful necklace. He looked into her eyes once more and softly bent down and brushed his lips against hers. he straightened and looked at her face. she blushed and went on tiptoes and gave him one last kiss and embrace before he left. she watched walk into the distance before he disappeared altogether. she stood there for a long time staring onto the path that he walked. she finally tore her eyes away and looked at her hand. she opened her palm and seen the necklace Lu had placed in it. a single tear ran down her cheek. she held the charm in her hands to her chest, fell into the ground and starting crying, staining her maroon dress. when would she see her beloved again?

she walked into the Glade and seen Derek there talking to a few friends of his. his hair was wet, probably from a morning bathe she figured. he looked quite handsome as the sunlight hit him just right. she shook her head of the the thought and looked at the pendant around her neck. she sighed and ordered some chicory. she sat by her usual seat by the window and stared out of it at the forest beyond. she began wandering about Derek "i wonder if he has any family, or where he is from, or what he does," sagone thought to herself. she banished the questions and starting drinking her warm chicory.

[Gah!!! you played him again! -.-; poor Derek, he's being played lol jk .... i'll just go on with it i suppose]
Derek shook his head violently, spraying droplets of water all over a few friends. they shouted in protest as they got showered and shoved him away. Derek walked away laughing. he turned to Sagone and sat at her table. "Hey, uh... sorry if i'm intruding but you looked a little lonely. could you use some company?" he asked, then realized that she might take it the wrong way. "Uhh... I don't mean.... I mean... " the words got stuck in his throat and he kept on stuttering. finally giving up on trying to piece the right words together he set his head on the top of the table. "Nevermind, I didn't mean anything bad by that if it sounded like it." he said still looking at the grain of the tabletop.

pure darkness flooded the land.
Blythe sat on the roof of the Glade and wondered if there was any point to this. She knew that this was her only chance to revenge for her long-lost kin, but her hatred has been worn by time. However, every time she remembers the horrific slaugthering of everyone she had loved, she cannot help but feel a blazing fire of rage inside her. They were the ones who led the land to prosperity, and yet they were betrayed.
She sighed, and extended her elegant claws. If there is one thing she knows, it's that the world will be better off without Derek of the Mercenaries.

This is the chance I've always been waiting for.
Spreading her silver wings across the cieling, Blythe hovered above the now sleeping Derek. The Glade was abandonned, and everything was perfect. It would be so easy. One scratch of her claws... and no one in the forest would dare accuse her...
The tip of her claws touched Derek's tender throat. Blythe froze. Even though she had played this over so many times in her head, it is harder than she thought to take away a life. And yet the man in front of her had done it so many times...
Blythe bit her lip and let her hand glide. But before she could afflict a wound deeper than a papercut, Derek turned his head. He was a young man, and seemed troubled in his sleep, for his brows were deeply burrowed. He mumbled a few inaudiable words, and his expression softened.
Blythe stared into his face and found that she was not a murderer. At least, not today. She gently removed her claw from the nape of the mercenary--

Derek was wandering in the darkness. he saw the people he had killed, they were all grabbing him, anywhere they could, trying to pull him down. he felt one of their hands on his throat. he shook his head. ((btw shin this is when your claw is on his neck)) *not again, leave me alone!* he screamed in his head. Then he saw the face of a child, her eyes were blazing with hatred and there were tears streaming down her face. it killed him to see her, knowing what he had done but orders were orders. the child lunged at him and Derek sat straight up in bed. his skin was sweaty and he breathed in deeply, then seeing someone out of his peripheral vision he back jumped out of the bed, grabbing his katana on the way, which he always kept next to him. he looked at the intruder and then his eyes narrowed. the face looked oddly familiar but he couldn't seem to place it. then his dream came flooding back and he recognized her. his sword clattered to the ground and an expression of surprise and sorrow overwhelmed his features. "I-i'm sorry. I know that that doesn't excuse my actions, so... if it will make anything better for you, you may kill me." he said, hands outstretched to show he would not hold up a fight. "but, first i think there is something you might want to know, when i was assigned the mission, the note specifically said not to kill you. why, I know not, I just thought you might want to know." Derek finished, shutting his mouth and looking down at the floor.
