Mr. X held on tightly to the ropes, being prevent from turning around to face Matt. He then attempt a backwards elbow when he had a chance and felt the pull loosen.

Matt was hit with the elbow, letting go of Mr. X. He backed away and held his jaw from the hit.

Mr. X attempted a blind kick to Matt's chest to send him off balance and onto the ground, after hearing his remark.

Matt was hit with the kick, gasping from the it and falling backwards onto the mat.

Mr. X backed up from the ropes and then sprung onto them attempting a quick Lionsault to pin on Matt.

Matt was hit with the Lionsault, but managed to kick out at 2!

Mr. X rolls off Matt as soon as he kicks out, both fist clenched and risen towards his face as if he was angry at missing an opportunity. He stood up and backed away, a vicious grin appearing on his face. He would run at Matt and attempt his signature Dropsault as soon as he stood up on both feet.

Matt stood, but as Mr. X ran for the Dropsault, he would attempt to dive to the side and dodge the move!

Mr. X went up for the jump, but saw Matt dive to the side. He had to adjust, knowing he wouldn't hit him now, but couldn't. He hit the mat hard on his back.

Matt sighed in relief, glad that he wasn't hit. He began to climb back up to his feet.

Mr. X also took this time to drag his body to the closest set of ropes and climb up then to get to his feet.

Matt finally got to his feet, shaking his head.
"Damn it, I was close to ending it too..."
He then turned around, and waited for Mr. X to get to his feet.

Mr. X stood upright with the support of the ropes and when his eyes met Matt's, he grinned, a toothy grin. It was almost as if he was taunting his opponent.

Mr. X used to the ropes to stand upright, a toothy grin upon his face as he glanced at Matt and they met eye to eye. It was almost as if he was mocking him indirectly.
