Yuki thought about it for a moment, all kidos where generally cast the same way so to her it made no difference other than how much power you put behind the punch. As Amie gave a crack at it, Yuki took note that she probably should have mentioned that.
"Ummm... You need to put enough power in it to work with number 31. Your used to working with lower levels, like 10... So... Roughly triple the kick you put behind that. "
She said, shifting her feet uneasily as she watched her own shadow as if it where a real clock that could tell her when she was late.

Amie thought this over, then nodded. "I see...." Alright. that doesn't seem to much harder.
Amie wiped her hands together, then loosened her legs. She aimed her palm at the dummy. This is a fire Kido, as well. Perhaps I should visualize a more hot Rietsu....
Amie closed her eyes, and started focusing the Rietsu. She pictured a fire building in her hand, and kept building the power, while picturing the flame becoming bigger and hotter. All the while, a small, red, rippling orb was forming. "Hado number 31, Shot of Red Fire!"
A deformed ball of red energy fired from her hand, as she opened her eyes. It's aim was off, as it grazed the side, singing the side of its head. However, Amie was pleased. It just needed a small bit of practice, and she could perfect it.

Eguchi nodded silently to this logic and looked back down at his hand. He clenched it and began to focus what he could into it. His breathing slowed a little bit, soon able to freely concentrate on the task at, or in this case in, hand. The reitsu quietly gathered in his hand as it opened back up slowly along with his eyes. He looked back over towards the row of dummies and held up his palm. "Hado 31: Shot of Red Fire!" And with that it was away, but horribly misguided. Eguchi watch ed as it feel just short and a little off the side of the dummy he was aimming for, the blast exploding on impact. He quietly cursed, but stepped back a little and looked back at his hand in an embarassed nature.

Yuki watched as the two took their respective shots, happy that they at least got something. She looked around, she really couldn't wait much longer, the meeting was going to start without her!
"Ok, now that you two have the general idea, I have to go. I'm going to be late!"
She said, turning around and hitting the high road at a full tilt shunpo. She was moving so fast she didn't think Amie or Eguichi hardly saw her move.

Eguchi blinked as his captain suddenly disappeared before his eyes, startled only slightly by it. He shrugged to himself and looked over at his contemporary who was also practicing. "Should we continue without her?" He asked in a soft tone. "I think I almost have the hang of this."

Amie thought for a moment. "Well, there's no harm in it." Amie shook her arms, then got into the position again. "I say we try until we can perform it right." To perfect her aim, like she did with previous kido, she closed her left eye. "So, I don't recall ever getting your name. You can call me Amie."
She focused her Reitsu to her hand, and build it up over a few moments. She couldn't yet channel it in one burst. "Hado number 31, Shot of red Fire!" The red orb was more sphere like, and shot directly for the dummy. It left a huge gaping hole in the dummies shoulder. A triumphant smile rose on her lips.

"Eguchi." he said with a nod that was to be taken as a greeting and then looked back over at the dummy he wanted to make explode into little bitty pieces. He clenched his fist again and began to concentrate on focusing his reitsu again. The ball glew a cool blue and he looked back at his target, raising his hand to it. "Hado 31: Shot of red fire!" The ball suddenly changed to a deep red and shot from his palm. It slammed hard into the torso of the dummy, ripping it in two. "It's a pleasure." He said at last as the upper half fell to the ground.

Amie smiled, and watched his dummy fall to the ground. She was slightly envious to Eguchi's progress of aim. Hmmmm. How his reitsu worked gave her an idea, though. It was his own color, until he fired the incantation.
Amie stared into her palms, and just focused a gentle stream of Reitsu through them. A faint purple glow outlined her hands. You could hardly see it, as it danced across her finger tips. She closed her eyes, and just concentrated on that. In order to better use her Rietsu, she had to understand it's flow. Amie stayed like that for what seemed like an eternity, before snapping open her eyes. "Hado number 31, Shot of Red Fire! " She spun around and opened her palm. She had spent the time meditating, if you wanted to use that phrasing, on just how her Reitsu moved.
She opened the flow in her arm, from her center to her palm, and the Reitsu that had been restrained was unblocked. Amie had been so stiff with her Reitsu until now, it was a matter of raw Reitsu power that made the sphere. Now that she had loosened that, it would be much easier to conjure the Kido. In an instant, the red ball was formed, and jet from her palm. Her aim was nearly dead on, almost there. The more concentrated blow severed the shoulders and head from the dummy, sending them flying in some odd direction. The support beam was broken with the impact, and the dummy fell to the ground. "Ha ha! "

Eguchi turned to witness the result of Amie's hado and applauded her quietly. "Very nice." He said loud enough for her to hear. The clapping stopped as he shifted himself to face the dummy squad once again. "I wonder what other hado we could learn if this ne is so effective." His eyes were averted by a sudden glare from the sun, bringing a hand up to shield his vision from its harmful rays. He stared upwards at the sun, as if beckoned to do so by the sky itself. And the whisper came to him. The wind lightly picking up to refresh them in their hardworking ways. He sighed to himself and returned his sight back to the earth, quieting his mind.
His eyes went from his left to his right and then back to the former. What if I practiced with my off-hand? Maybe that could boost this exercise a little more. He closed his eyes, as well as his left hand, and visualized the flowing reitsu into his fingertips once again. The rhedundant process was very effective as he soon was looking back at his intended target with his palm facing it once more. "Hado 31: Shot of Red Fire!" He said as his aim came true. The blast shot from his hand with the identical force of that from his dominant and sailed towards the dummy. It punched deep into the right shoulder of the target dummy, a little off center, but still as effective as the others. He sighed happily to himself, but did not crack a smile, keeping the joyful feelings inside for later.

(( :: totally forgot today was Wednesday XD ))
Yuki walked back to the training grounds. She was a few minutes late, but it didn't seem like anyone had shown up yet. That was both a good and bad thing, she didn't want a repeat of last week where no one showed up, but at least she didn't look like the stupid teacher who was late to class. She took a seat under a tree and leaned up against it, waiting for the students to show up. Hopefully more than one person would show this time.

OoC://[Oh, I thought we were starting at 5 EST woulda been here sooner. Didn't have to work today.]
Amie walked into the training grounds from the bar, and up to where Captain Yukimaru-sama was waiting. She smiled pleasantly, before coming to a halt. It seemed she was the first one here.

Eguchi gradually made his way back onto the training field, sighing lightly as he spotted two figures coming into view. A hand came up, followed closely by its connecting arm as he waved once at them with the powerful limb. He picked up his pace and was soon on top of the pair, nodding to Amie. "Good afternoon." He said in a low, gruff tone. He turned to at his captain a little more dignified. "Ma'am."

(( Excuse me if I take some time to respond, I'm registering for classes))
Yuki looked up at the two who had shown up. Things where improving, now TWO people had shown up to practice rather than just one. With a sigh that displayed her disappointment at the short out turn she stood and looked at them both.
"This week, I'm going to show you some binding kidos. I find them to be much more practical than Hado, because once your opponent is frozen... Game over. So, are you two ready to start?"
She asked, sounding less enthusiastic than she would have liked.

Amie exhanced a smile with her friend, before turning her attention back to her captain, as she spoke. She thought of some possibilities of a binding Kido, and perked at the thought. However, some of that enthusiasm fell as she wondered what method she would be using to teach. "I'm game, Yukimaru-sama!~" she replied. However, her captain seemed depressed. Oh Amie came to the realization only two members were present. Well...it was an upgrade from last week, right?
