Ferdinand stared at this small thing pronounce itself working for some 'queen' proudly. He stayed silent about his speech patterns and how Susan got it to stop squirming in his mouth. Ferdinand just thought it was annoying and wished that Susan had never found this thing. All it did was peak Susan's curiosity and make things harder for him to deal with. "No. We don't have to follow it." Ferdinand said sternly. "It'll only cause us to start an adventure and who knows when it'll end." He added. It wasn't that if they didn't follow it, they'd die. It was more of a choice. So Ferdinand chose to not follow the coated white rabbit into an abyss that could've been a trap to harm them both.

"I'm fine." He responded to the other male. "Let's just... continue on to the end." He said as he began to walk as best as he could towards the end of the path. He had promised (or at least he thought so) Susan that they would go to the end, then go home. The faster they got to the end and satisfied the curiosity, the better for him to head home and let Hain take care of him for the next few days.
"Come on. let's hurry." He said as he looked back and fluffed his snowy tail a little towards Susan. He gave a reassuring smile to him. "I'm fine. honestly." He said while keeping his sincere smile and strong front.
