Weaknesses(must have at least one-and make it legit):
Short Temper: One would think that a man who had complete control over fire would be adverse to water.. but hes not. While water does not harm his powers in any way, it DOES however make him extremily angry. When he does get angry however, he starts to loose sight of the "big picture" when fighting, and is much easier to take down.
Appearance:
-Human Form: Scathien (Or Markus as he enjoys being called in this form) stands at a full 6 feet tall with black hair cut close to his head and sky blue eyes with a pair of sunglasses. He wears a simple white t-shirt underneith a black jacket (on cold days) and a pair of blue jeans and some tennis shoes.

Scathien as a human was a sadistic, cunning serial murderer. He was persued through at least 30 states before finally being captured just outside of New York City in a small shack that he called home for the time being. It was said that at his trial he was convicted of nearly 50 counts of first-degree murder and manslaughter in this three year reign of terror.
He was very quickly sentanced to the death penalty without much of a trial, not even the insanity plea would work for him.. and he truely was insane. He was placed in death row where he awaited his sentance, all the while scheming to try an escape before they could put him to death, after all... he had so much more to do.. so many more to kill... Not even his jail cell could temper his murderous streak as several inmates were randomly found dead by various means in the prison and even a few guards. Eventually he was stuck in solitary confinement so that he could get at no one else.
Early one morning during his routine cell check... it was discovered that Scathien was simply... well.. gone... There was no trace of a breakout, no trace of any form of cooperation to escape. He had simply vanished. It turned out that Scathien's mysterious benfactors had taken him from the prison in the dead of night, as they knew quite well what he was capable of, as well as what he was afflicfted with and decided to make him an offer that he knew he couldnt refuse.
Scathien was afflicted by a terminal disease that had no cure. It rotted the mind slowly over a period of years, causing dementia and insanity before slowly shutting off the body's various organs to lead to a very slow and very painful death. Scathien's benefactors said that they had a cure for him, as long as he agreed to a single task of their choosing... Scathien accepted without a moment's hesitation.
He was then led to a chamber within the building that he was taken to, and saw in the midst of a cage a mythical creature... a Phoenix writhing in the throws of death as its life cycle came to an end. It was explained to him that if a person died while standing in the flames of an increadibly powerful phoenix's rebirth, the phoenix would take pity upon the person, melding with them and reviving them while bestowing upon them it's own abilities and power.
Scathien was ready to believe anything at that point, but before he could choose to step into the raging flames, he was pushed by an underling. He screamed as the flames began to consume him, but fell silent as his body burned to ashes when a bullet from the very same underling pierced the back of his skull.
The flames died, and only ashes remained.. a figure slowly began to rise from the center however... a naked man with wings of firey red and orange color sprouting from his back. Scathien had indeed been reborn, merged with the aincient phoenix and bestowed with all of its powers... Though his disease had been cured, his mind was never fully restored, and he still held that touch of insanity that made him such a dangerous serial killer as a human... that danger was quickly made known as he unleashed his power on the underling, incinerating him to a crisp before he was calmed down by his benfactors.
For months they taught him how to control and manipulate the aincient phoenix's powers, bringing him to the peak of his control. While he could not master his current abilities any longer... it was figured that he might gain newer abilities down the road as he grew stronger. It was then that they provided him with his mission.
He was provided with ample information on the current titans (Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, Beast Boy) and told that all he had to do... his one single task he had to perform to repay them, was to unleash Raven's darkest side... apart from that, he was free to do as he wished and was also told that should he need help, all he needs to do is contact them and they would try to help him in some way or another....
It was with that final conversation that the mighty Scathien was unleashed upon the unsuspecting Jump City.... The self proclaimed Lord of Fire and Ash began his reign....
Side(good/bad/neutral): Bad... Very very bad...
Special Notes: Phoenix Rebirth only works after Scathien dies, his body burns away into ash and stays in such a state for quite some time, likely blowing away and settling elsewhere. After a while in this state his body is reborn from the ashes and he is too weak to fight. This ability can not be used to continue a fight, because if it has to be used... well... hes already lost
