PearllLynnetteSpiet "I am what I am." Pearll is just shocked. "What the hell." Pearll said as Star entered the dining hall. And stopped in front of Kiyarah. She heard their hushed conversation. Something about blood tablets and Star's brother. Oh well, it's none of my business. Pearll thought. Kiyarah most probably would have it under control. She almost turned away as Star waved at her. Shocked, she gave a little smile and waved back. It must be a shock to Lyrine. A Night Class girl waving to her. Pearll thought wryly as she laughed out loud. Now, Lyrine must think I'm crazy on top of being madly happy. Oh, well.
Pearll turned to leave the dining hall, deep in thought. She was oblivious to her surrounding and didn't even notice if Lyrine was coming with her. And she bumped into Star and Kiyarah. They were talking about her and Lyrine. "Hey! Not gossiping about me, are you?" She asked, amused. "Well, no matter. I gotta go. And Kiyah, if you see my friends, do help me tell them that they better not let me find them. I'll kick their butts. You can help me kick them first if you want. So well, see ya later. You too, Star." Pearll shrugged and continued on her way. Now, realizing that Lyrine was not with her. "I am what I am."

Take me and run me away with you. Lyrine gave an animated grin at Pearll’s words. They were friends. Something about that just seemed… right. “Thank You.” She mumbled, touched. But why did she suddenly look so uneasy? That was something Lyrine had noticed about this school. Not right away, of course. But she saw how the students seemed to shy away from certain areas. Most of the people in the Moon dorms stayed away from the Twilight dorms. Weirder yet, in the Twilight dorms was the night class and Lyrine hadn’t seen a single one of those students yet. They were apparently super smart or something like that. Oh well, maybe soon.
Her fork finally dropped to the tray as she finished the last bite of scrambled egg. “Oh. Sorry about your parents.” Lyrine said; her words were lame but she didn’t have anything else to say. “I don’t have a mother.” She mumbled uncomfortably. She looked up again to hear the explanation about Kiyah…. Kiyarah. A prefect? She nodded, although still slightly confused by the words. They hadn’t had those in her old school. But this one was so much different. When Pearll went to go throw her trash away, Lyrine rose too. She walked slowly toward the bin and let her tray slide down. Then she returned to Pearll. ‘Time to go to class soon? Whats class going to be like? Harder than her old school?’ She wondered, a tiny frown forming wrinkles on her forehead.
The arrival of some girl alerted Lyrine and she turned to see an extremely pale, but pretty, girl walk in. She spoke to Kiyah and then gave them a wave. Lyrine watched Pearll wave back enthusiastically. Wow, hadn’t Lyrine just been thinking that she hadn’t seen any of the night class? And here was this girl. Pearll laughed, and Lyrine turned curiously toward her. Just laughing for… the fun of laughing? Well, Lyrine understood that. Pearll got up in the direction of the two girls. Lyrine wondered if she was supposed to follow, so she did. She sure didn’t want to be left here alone. When she approached them, Pearll had already moved on. Lyrine froze in spot, though. These girls were so pretty. What was it with them? It was hardly fair. But she shrugged the thought off. “Hello.” Lyrine said, holding out her hand.

.::Star . Resme . Carter::. You know you want me......
It's just too bad I'm beyond your reach Star Resme Carter is feeling:.::Enthusiastic::. Star smiled as Kiyarah admited her admiration of her brother, and agreed to hang out with her. Laughing as Kiyah mentioned taking advantage of her position, Star brushed a few strands of hair out of her pale face. Hearing Kiyarah's description of Pearll and Lyrine, the vampire nodded slowly. "I see... Well, Pearll looks like she's very popular. She's almost pretty enough to be a vampire," Star grinned. Then she remembered Pearll was a werewolf, and wondered if that was more of an insult than the complement she wanted it to be. "Governors daughter eh? She doesnt look like a political person. Something about her seems more... happyish. Very pretty as well. But she looks shy." Star frowned as Lyrine hung and wavered about. From the vampire's point of view, Lyrine could make many friends. The vampire almost jumped as Pearll and Lyrine arrived. Stuttering to hide her Blood Tablets and act as humanely as possible, Star smiled at them. "Hello" muttered Lyrine and the human held out a hand. Star looked at the girl and smiled, but didnt shake the hand; if Lyrine felt her cold skin... Instead, Star just said, "Hey. I'm Star of the Night Class." Waving at Pearll as the werewolf went off to find her friends. Turning back to Lyrine and Kiyarah, she sighed. "Kiyah, I think we should go... Lyrine needs to get to class and I have to find my brother and that other Va-Night Class stud."Almost saying 'vampire', Star quickly stumbled over her mistake and hoped Lyrine didn't notice. Waving at a few Day Class guys- one could almost say flirting- Star grinned inwardly. It was rare for her to be near the Day Class, and so she decided to try and have as much fun as she could. Human guys are so easy to toy with. One of the many great things about being a vampire. Feeling a sudden rush that she had before, Star nudged Kiyarah. She tried to be suttle, but urgency almost made her shove the Prefect off her feet. "Get Lyrine out of here! I can't take the Blood Tablets infront of here!" Star twitched and she clenched her fists. 'Miss Beautiful and Snobbish Night Class' was inwardly raging. She fought to keep her vampire urgencies under controll. Crap. I shouldve taken more than one when I was in the Dining Hall with Kiyah! Star's pale skin began to flush a pale pink, making her look relatively like a human with a chill. The little rush was what Star hated the most about being a vampire. Transported to the days when she attended regular school, Star remembered the day of Track and Field. Subconciously, her vampire side had taken over and Star won every event by a mile. Instead of being congradulated, everyone had stared in silence and walked away. Star looked at the ground and tried to focus on Lyrine and Kiyarah's shoes. Her fists tightened and she was swept by a wave of rage and sadness.

☾kiyarah . antoinette . briarwood☽_________________I can't shake the feeling that maybe ____________you're a part of me. Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { nervous } The smell of a human could have been scented from miles away. Which was why, when Kiyarah took a deep breath of what use ot be relief, she grew nervous as a human walked over to them. Turning her head to the direction of the strong scent, Kiyarah saw the new student come towards them. Quickly, the hybrid's eyes were back on Star, looking for her reaction. It was just as she had imagined. As Kiyarah was about to tell Lyrine to go to class, the girl had opened her mouth and had began speaking to the vampire in front of her. Kiyarah grew more and more nervous. She had to remain silent till the conversation was over. The Chairman had taught her never to interrupt when someone was introducing themselves, which was what Star did. The hybrid noted that Star had not reached over to shake hands with Lyrine. With human-ish speed, Kiyarah stepped in front of Star and took the human's hand. "Hello! I'm Kiyarah Briarwood. You're Lyrine Colt, am I correct? My fa--The Chairman has informed me that you would be around here somewhere. I'm glad to see that you're making friends with the other students of the Day Class. Especially with Pearll Spiet. She's a very friendly person," Kiyarah said as she shook Lyrine's hand. Because she was half-human, Kiyarah's hand was not cold and hard like Star's. The blood pumping inside her was causing body heat to radiate from her body. Pulling her hand away, the hybrid prefect smiled welcomingly to the human in front of her, all the while worrying about Star's condition now. I have to get Star out of here. was the thought repeating in Kiyarah's mind. It would have been simple to lead Star away, but then she still had to be polite or Lyrine would be suspicious.
At Star's too-soft-to-be-heard whisper, Kiyarah gave a very tiny nod then turned back to look at Lyrine. "You should really get to class now. Tardiness will not be dealt with at Oak Point. And you do not want to get in trouble since you're new. This school is never lenient on students, no matter what the excuse. I'm going to make sure that Star heads back to the Twilight Dorms before I head to class. It was nice to finally meet you, Lyrine," Kiyarah said hastily and then turned to push Star away towards the direction of the dorms, away from the Day Class classroom building. Kiyarah pushed Star with all her might with as much speed as was "humanly" possible until they were out of sight of Lyrine. Hopefully that girl will do as I told her. Now that the Twilight Dorms was "humanly" in sight, Kiyarah stopped pushing Star and stood in front of the girl again. "Take another tablet now," she ordered then looked behind her for any sight of the human. None. Then Kiyarah turned back to the vampire. "Are you okay?" she asked worriedly, her hands deep in her skirt pockets as her shockingly bright blue eyes gazed at Star. Kiyarah never really knew how it felt when the hunger feeling came while around a human. Her biological father had taught her how to control her thirst, even though she was a half-blood. That was why she could not understand what Star and the other vampires felt being around humans. Some were able to control their thirst, while the others like Star, could not. Because of that, she pitied their torture.
Trying to think of a way to help her friend, Kiyarah took out the iPod she had quickly taken while going back to get her packet of tablets and handed it over to Star. "Here. This helps ease the thirst. The best distraction. I'm sure there's some music you'll like in there. It's mostly classical music though. Piano compositions sooth me when I want to distract myself from the thirst," she explained, placing the small device into the vampire's cold hands. It was silent for a long moment as Kiyarah tried to find another way to help the vampire. "It's a good thing this campus is shaded in so many places. It would have been scary if Lyrine saw you...glisten under the sun. You shouldn't have come out knowing that it was really sunny today. I know you went out to look for your brother, but you would know that he would never come out if the weather was like this. And you could have asked the other vampires if they could give you a tablet or two," Kiyarah stated in her worried tone. She didn't mean to start lecturing Star, but when she worried, she could not keep her mouth shut. Letting out a sigh, the hybrid took Star's hand and led her to the entrance of the dorms. She opened the door slowly, wincing a little at the strong scent of vampires. She should be used to it, but the last time she had gone into the Twilight Dorms was to talk to Star's brother, giving him the message she was told to give to him. And that was weeks ago. The common room was dark, with a little light peeking through the dark colored curtains. For sure, all the vampires were in their dorms, doing homework and such. The truth was, Kiyarah had no idea what the vampires learned in this school. For sure they did not need the general education classes that the Day Class needed, seeing as they had lived long enough to be experts at general education.
Now in Star's dorm, Kiyarah let go of the vampire's cold hand and looked around the room. She had not been in this room for a while as well. In fact, the only times she went to the Twilight Dorms these days were for business reasons. So she never really stayed for long and just hang out with the fully energized vampires. It was amazing how well behaved they all were. Kiyarah's eyes looked right at the bed, which she laughed at inside. When talking about room arrangements with her father, the Chairman, Kiyarah had told him that vampires do not sleep. But the man would not listen to her when she just suggested that he order those morning beds that were good for naps. "Nonsense, Kiyah! Everyone needs sleep!" she could hear her father tell her. Then when Star's brother had told him that his kind doesn't sleep, Kiyarah remembered smiling that I-told-you-so grin right at the bemused Chairman. "Hey, Star? Just curious. What do you and the other vampires do with the beds that the Chairman ordered for you guys?" she asked, looking at the vampire. Even though it was dark in the room, she was able to see the vampire clearly. All her senses were intensified thanks to her father's genes. Unfortunately, she had the mentality of her mother.
Kiyarah was about to take a step towards the windows when all of a sudden, "AH!" She tripped on the carpet below her feet. The hybrid groaned in pain, sitting up and rubbing her head. "I really should do something about this clumsiness huh?" she asked Star rhetorically with a chuckle then got up and sat on the floor. She crossed her legs indian style, making sure her skirt was not showing any inappropriate places. "So about Lyrine. I'll try to tell her about yours and the rest of the Night Class's condition with the humans. The poor girl. Being the Governor's daughter. It must be hard for her. And she's done a lot of things that should not be done. Like that partying and the drugs. At least that's what I heard from my father. If the Chairman were to be that big, I would not blame myself if I did that stuff to get his attention again. To think, that Governor paid all that money to keep his daughter away from him so that he doesn't lose his position. It's a shame." Kiyarah shook her head in disapproval. Kiyarah felt so happy when she saw Pearll talking to Lyrine during breakfast. The werewolf was such a friendly person. She did not descriminate. And she did not think of vampires as the enemy. Maybe this whole coexisting thing might work after all.

»»000000000000★keith . zachary . reynolds★ _________________________It's always about mind over matter.Keith Zachary Reynolds 's current mood : { stressed } Today was just not going well for Day Class Student Body President Keith Reynolds. And it was barely morning. All last night he had stayed up just to finish his physics project, that was not even due till the end of next week. So when he had opened his eyes and lifted his head up, you could tell how late he stayed up, especially with the almost finished project scattered all over his assignment covered desk. When Keith woke up this morning, well, let's just say his stress level raised by at least thirty-five percent in only one breath. Not only had he missed breakfast, but he only had at least two minutes to get ready and to class before being considered tardy. In that minute and a half of sheer rushing, Keith had cursed so many times than he had in his entire life. He cursed himself mostly for deciding to stay up all night to work on a project that was no where near due. As Keith rushed to the door, slipping his black blazer on and shouldering his heavy bookbag, Keith blinked once to realize something. He was not wearing his black thick rimmed glasses. The male paused at the door, then turned towards his desk, only to lose hope in ever finding the glasses he had trusted for so long. In a time when he was in a hurry, his glasses decided to go missing. There was only one thing he could do now. Wear the contacts his father had forced him to get during the summer. Looking down at his watch, he thought that he had had enough time to put them on. So, going to his bathroom, Keith opened the medicine cabinet and took out the black case that held the transparent contact lenses. He easily slipped them on, blinking a few times so that they would move into place. And finally he was able to see properly again. God I hate this! he complained as he stared at his handsome reflection in hte mirror for half a second before realizing that in reality, he was about to be late.
With his bookbag hitting his leg painfully, Keith rushed out the Sun Dorms and almost sprinted to the classrooms. On his way, he noticed a few things. One was the school prefect, the female one, heading a totally different direction than she was suppose to. Another was the fact that a Night Class student was with her. This stumped Keith for a moment, but when he stared at the beauty for a short moment, his cheeks burned crimson red against his pale skin and so he rushed away from the scene. A few seconds later, Keith had made the mistake of looking back. In which caused him to bump into the person in front of him. The male looked forward to come face to face with an unfamiliar, yet really pretty, Day Class student that he had never seen before. He stared for a moment, the blonde curls of the pretty girl causing him to feel a little timid. "I-uh-I-I-I---" Keith cleared his throat, readjusting the strap of his bag on his shoulder. "Sorry," he muttered then side stepped the girl. He then continued to run towards the classrooms. A pile of Day Class students filed into the large building, chattering on about whatever they all talked about. Some had turned to greet Keith a "Good Morning." Most of the people that stopped to look at him were shocked, almost flabberghasted at his shocking looks. Excuse me, why are you all staring? You're going to be late. he thought but did not say, because for some reason, his voice box stopped working at the many pairs of eyes staring at his looks. As he walked to his Advanced American Literature class, Keith could have sworn he had heard some guy from the basketball team ask why he suddenly looked so hot. This made Keith feel a little on edge. He really hated all this attention on his looks.
Finally stepping into his first period class, Keith took a seat at his usual spot in the front row middle seat and smiled shyly at his teacher who was watching as his students stepped into the classroom. Keith was taking out his things when all of a sudden the old teacher walked over to him, staring at him like he was trying to figure out what was so different today. "Mister Reynolds? Where are your glasses today?" the old man asked, adjusting his own bifocals so see more properly. Keith gulped at the question, feeling his nervousness take over his body. "I-um-I-I-I-I mi-mi-mis-misplaced them, sir. S-s-so I'm u-using c-contacts," he stuttered out then tilted his head down, opening his textbook to the last page they were on. Since it was October, the class was studying the works of the Edgar Allen Poe. Running a hand through his sandy brownish-blonde hair, Keith bent down to retrieve his spiral notebook and a black ballpoint pen for the lecture lesson today. All the while, his mind was going back to his room and the almost finished physics project that was lying scattered all over his desk. The bags under his deep brown eyes pulsed at the thought of all the work he had to do. And so he rested his head on the table until the bell rang for class to begin. He could hear from his seat the hussle and bussle of the students outside the hallways. It was like a swarm of buzzing bees, causing his eyelids to feel heavier than they really should. Rest sounded really good to Keith right now. But he was in class, and he had to set a good example to the other students as their representative. But then again, I never asked to be Student Body President and-- Keith's eyes bolted open at the last thought. And a total memory crashed into his head.
Just a few days ago, Keith was summoned to the Chairman's office by Kiyarah Briarwood. The Chairman had informed him that in a few days a new student was to arrive. It was his responsibility, as well as the prefects, to make sure that this student was welcomed into the school. He remembered looking at the picture of the female transfer student for a few minutes, memorizing her identity. Damnit! The girl I bumped into was the new student the Chairman told me about! Keith cursed under his breath, letting out a wide yawn before dropping his head on the cold wooden desk below him. It was obvious how stressed out the Student Body President was even after only one month of school. "success doesn't come in wrapping paper and a bow. "

.::Star . Resme . Carter::. You know you want me......
It's just too bad I'm beyond your reach Star Resme Carter is feeling:.::Curious::. Star smiled as Kiyarah placed the iPod into her hands. Putting the earphones in ears, Star listened to 'Let the Flames Begin' by Paramore. It blocked out Kiyarahs little lecture, and she just smiled and nodded and tried to look like she was listening. Following Kiyah to the Twilight Dorm, the pale vampire began to sing. "What a shame we all became. Such fragile broken things, the memory remains. Just a tiny spark. I give it all my oxygen..." The vampires voice was almost parrallel to Star's beauty. 'Let the flames begin'. The words ricochetted with Star's silky, smoothe voice and echoed through the dorm. 'Hey Star? Just curious. What do you and the other vampires do with the beds that the Chairman ordered for you guys?' The pretty prefect shocked the vampire out of her music trance. "Hmm... of course? Oh. The beds. We, uh, we use them as... punching bags. Lets just leave it at that," she grinned. As Kiyarah tripped and muttered, the vampire smiled and sat down with the her. Listening to Kiyarah talk about Lyrine, Star nodded with understanding. "I see. I see. Wow. I didnt realize things were so complicated. I guess thats what happens when you live seperate from the world." Star smiled a sad smile. Then she shook her head as if to shake off the sadness and resumed her cheerful smile. Remembering something she had seen the halls outside, Star poked Kiyarah to redirect the conversation. "Hey, Kiyah? I saw a Day Class studnt- a guy- looking at me earilier. Whos he?" she asked, curious. Star remembered the flush that crept up the boys face and how he rushed away as soon as Star turned. The Day Class consisted of quite a few people, unlike the vampire Night Class. So many people I dont know... its just too bad that I cant get to know them all. "That guy was actually kind of cute," Star teased. It was a rare gesture for a vampire to complement a human.

Hugo Davies Munger Hugo is actually feeling rather resentful."Hugo Davies Munger!" The chairman shouted at the door at Hugo's room. "You'd better wake up now, or I'll send you to double detention!" The chairman left. "Aww... Dad, can you just tone it down a bit? I was just trying to sleep!" Hugo answered back as he threw a pillow at the door and pulled the blanket over his head. He was thirsty, and tired. "Hugo! It's 7.25am. You're late!" The chairman tried again. "Dad! I'm sick. Can you just try not to shout?" And tired and thirsty. The Chairman entered the room, clucking his tongue sympathetically. Either he's faking it, or he's the most stupid man in the whole wide world. But since he's not stupid... Hugo jumped down from the bed. "Dad! I knew it! I'm up. Please make your way out. I'm sure you don't want to see me undressing." Turns out that the Chairman was actually trying to kick Hugo out of the bed. He quickly exited the room with a, "You'd better hurry up!" Groaning, he stretched his body before making his way to the bathroom.
Humming a song to himself, he started brushing his teeth. Then, he wiped his face carefully. Hugo didn't actually care about anything until he glanced at his alarm clock. God, please let me see that wrongly. He rubbed his eyes and looked at his alarm clock again. "s**t! When did seven become half-past seven?!" As he struggled to get his white shirt over his head, he tripped over his shoes and landed on his bed. "Okay, I'm sick again." He stood up with visible effort and finally got his shirt on. He quickly put on his navy blue vest before walking out of his room. "Dad, where's Kiyah?" He shouted as he exited the house. Hearing no reply, he continued on his way. Where in the school is Kiyah? He asked rhetorically as he walked towards his first class. "Hello, Hugo!" A girl waved at him. And he, bring Hugo, scowled at her. "Get back to class! You do realize that I can send you to detention for loitering outside of class?" He smiled grimly as the poor girl hurried away from him. That was... quite fun!

☾kiyarah . antoinette . briarwood☽_________________I can't shake the feeling that maybe ____________you're a part of me. Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { lonely } The darkness of the room was causing shivers to run down Kiyarah's spine. She was use to the darkness of course, but when there was a vampire around, she could not help but feel nervous. Hwo she wanted to just get up and shed a little light in the room, but since it wasn't her room to begin with and she was the guest, she had to ask permission first. Before she could even ask however, Star had dropped to the ground to sit beside her and started speaking. As she remained silent while her companion spoke, Kiyarah listened intently. She was always interested in what her vampire friends had to say. Even though a little bit of half of her life was spent with a vampire, she hadn't really gotten a full kink of how it felt like. Kiyarah took in the composure Star held in such a graceful sitting position, jealous that her clumsiness could not do that for her. She noted the tone of the female vampire's voice as she spoke, listening to it change with her mood. Just because Kiyarah Briarwood was slow on some things, she was pretty understanding on others. She understood how Star felt at her statement about her people's isolation with the rest of the world. It brought back memories of her biological father, some that she did not want to remember.
Before the female prefect knew it, she was drifting into a sort of train of thought/memory. A visit through memory line you could call it. There was the sound of shattered glasses hitting walls, causing Kiyarah to wince on the outside. There was the booming shouting of her father, yelling at how much he hated her. And then there were the thoughts of when he had completely ignored her, as if she wasn't even alive. Those hurt the most. Even though Star's species isolates themselves for the safety of themselves and the humans, they have no idea how isolated I felt when I was younger. I had no one. she thought, her shocking blue eyes looking down at her small, soft hands. A mix of good and bad memories flashed in and out of Kiyarah's mind. From the years of "princess" to the years of avoidance. They pained her to have such memories still in her mind. And because of this Kiyarah suddenly felt the need of her one and only true companion. Where's Hugo? I seriously hope he hasn't bailed out on me again. The female hybrid fought the urge to hug her legs to her chest, the same sitting position she sat in before she went to bed. The only person she was able to talk to, who was able to give her comfort, was the one person that almost went through the same things that she went through. Unfortunately, Hugo was no where in sight since this morning. Kiyarah let out a sigh, pushing a stray strand of her long curly hair out of her face.
It was at this time, after this long silence, that Star had poked Kiyarah to grab her attention again. The hybrid jumped slightly, turning her eyes hastily to look at the beautiful vampire beside her. Kiyarah's head tilted to the side a little, confused at what Star was asking. Day Class student? Guy? Earlier? These words were not clicking together as Kiyarah continued to stare confusingly at the vampire. And when she heard the word "cute" Kiyarah knew that she was completely lost in a sea of confusion. "Star, what are you ta---OH!" The hybrid brought a hand, pointing her index finger in a "now I understand what you're talking about" manner. A giggle crept through Kiyarah's full lips as she thought back to earlier when she was dragging Star back to the dorms before someone saw them. But it was a shame that someone did. At first the hybrid did not recognize who the human hottie was. But taking a look at his bookbag and the sandy brown hair, Kiyarah could not believe it was him. A soft smirk appeared on her lips. "That was Keith Reynolds. He's Student Body President of Day Class and he's Head of Sun Dorms. He's the hottest human babe in this school, but he's also the modest and most reserved. I think you've seen him talk to your brother once or twice this school year. He usually wears thick black rimmed glasses. But today I think he's wearing contacts. Whoo!"
Kiyarah fanned her cheeks, blushing at the memory of Keith's good looks. It was rare for Kiyarah to see Keith without glasses. Sure he was still good looking with them, but without? It was amazing Kiyarah didn't think he was a vampire at first. Giggling again at Star's next statement, the female hybrid lightly pushed the vampire on the arm, careful not to hurt herself more than hurt Star. "Kind of? Star, he's a babe! But I'm not really into him. I just think he's eye candy. Anyway, I don't think you would be satisfied with getting to know him. He's really shy. It's only last year he warmed up to me. Poor thing. He's so shy around others. Ah well." Kiyarah let out a sigh before getting up to go to the window. She pulled back one curtain just a little so that she could look out onto the campus. It was deserted. She let out another sigh, this one more depressed than the other. For the first time in the days of this school, she felt lonely again. She had never gone this long without seeing her brotherlike best friend. Turning back to Star, Kiyarah asked, "Have you by any chance seen Hugo?"

And no one ever said that it'd be easy. Lyrine nodded at the girls; Kiyah’s hand felt warm to Lyrine’s touch. Was the girl sick? God, Lyrine hoped it wouldn’t spread whatever it was. And was she about to say the chairman was her dad? That was… odd. Her very first day, she’d had a ‘meeting’ with the chairman. He looked nothing like Kiyah. But then Lyrine acted nothing like her dad either. ”Umm, yeah. Pearll’s pretty cool. Ok, I’ll be getting to class now.” Lyrine added as Kiyah and Star, the pale but beautiful girl, left. She turned herself to leave. Her eyes automatically searched for Pearll ahead of her. Crap, had she left without her? Oh well, by this time, Lyrine had already gotten slightly used to the school. Those were the dorms, and that was where class was held. Kiyah and Star were heading toward the dorms. Woah, wasn’t the chairmans daughter gonna go to class? She probably got to skip all the time. Nah, this school was too big a deal for that to happen. They were pretty big on discipline. Which reminded Lyrine that she better get her a** to her first period before she was tardy.
Increasing her pace with a sigh, Lyrine looked up just as she crashed into a kid. He was mirroring her uniform, the sme color coordination. “Hey!” Lyrine began indignantly with a scowl on her face, but then froze. Unholy crap this kid was cute. He apologized with stuttering words and left quickly. Lyrine cocked her head and turned watching him hurry away. She kept her head turned, trying to remember why his face looked recognizable even as he disappeared from view. Someone cleared their throat, running past her and said, “You should get to class. Seriously, unless you wanna be late.” Lyrine snapped out of her trance. The courtyard was clearing up. With a groan, Lyrine sprinted toward her building, curls bouncing wildly. She made it through the door just in time, which was a relief. Lyrine didn’t want to get in trouble already. Turning a new leaf was important. As Lyrine worked on catching her breath from her unexpected dash, she scanned the class.
Pearll. Lyrine’s smile came back; the contagious one Pearll would always spread. Lyrine slipped in beside her at a desk. She turned and whispered to her: “Hello again. Sorry about that, I just…” And then Lyrine knew where she knew the guy’s face from. He was the class president. She’d seen his picture. But why didn’t she realize that was him straight up. Lyrine could usually remember faces easily. Oh. She knew why. In the picture, he’d been wearing these thick nerd glasses, and his hair had been different. Why did he cover those gorgeous eyes with glasses? Clearing her throat, Lyrine continued to Pearll, ”I just crashed into the prez on my way here. He’s sorta adorable.” She frowned then, trying to remember his name. It’d been typed under his picture. What was it? Lyrine closed her eyes in concentration. Something with a K. Kevin? Definitely not. Kenneth sounded closer. But still that wasn’t right. Her eyes flew open in a sudden burst- Keith!

.::Star . Resme . Carter::. You know you want me......
It's just too bad I'm beyond your reach Star Resme Carter is feeling:.::Hysterical::. Star almost burst out laughing as Kiyarah talked about Keith. Who said vampires arent outgoing? Well, okay, maybe they werent. But Star was. She never skipped a chance to let loose. Laughing and giggling, she nodded with as much composure as she could. "So... a human babe, eh? And I thought all hot guys were vamps like my bro," she said. That got Star thinking about her brother, and how he wasnt there this morning. Damn that guy. Is he doing this just to annoy me? As Kiyarah asked her about Hugo, Star shook her head. The guy prefect hadnt had a conversation with her in a while. At first Star felt glad about that. Out of the two prefects, Hugo was the one more likely to get her in trouble. If he had seen Star in the dining hall, the vampire would probably be in the chairman's office right now. But then she thought of how Kiyarah must feel that he was the only one close to her, and felt bad that he had strayed away. "Maybe he's plotting against us with my brother?" she joked. Thinking a bit harder, Star muttered, "If I know him, he's probably yelling at someone from the Day Class, and laughing about it." Not that the pretty vampire didn't like Hugo; she really wanted to know get to know him better. It was that he wasnt really the open-up-and-be-all-out-friendly type of person. And since she was a vampire, well, yeah. Hugo took his prefect business seriously, giving Star hardly anytime to talk with him.

Adam James Kiles Leading is all about... ... listening first. Adam James Kiles is feeling [Irritated] Adam wandered through the Twilight Dorm, as he did almost everyday, occasionally stopping to check on a few of the mischievous vampires. As he rounded the corner to the west wing of the dorm he smelled something odd and it caught him off guard. He followed the scent to the end of the hall and out side into the woods. When he reached the edge of the woods he found some human girl and one of the under class vampires standing a bit too close. “Marcus,” Adam said sternly catching both of their attention. The girl looked at Adam wide eyed I wish they wouldn’t do that. His face didn’t change much but his eyes told Marcus it was time for the girl to leave. She scurried off to the school and Adam walked over to Marcus. “Marcus, what the hell are you doing? You brought a human into the Twilight Dorm. Do you have any idea how dangerous that is?” he didn’t yell but his voice was stern. Marcus looked down at the grass “I’m sorry.” was all he said. “Get back to your room and if I see that girl anywhere near our dorm again, the punishment will be severe.” Adam pointed off to the school and went back to the dorm pushing Marcus back into his room and closing the door.He started making his rounds again when he put his hand into his pocket feeling a medicine bottle. He pulled it out laughing a bit to himself She would forget her head… He held the bottle in his hand as he finished his rounds of the dorm. He decided he would find Star before she got into too much trouble. She wasn’t hard to keep in line just easily distracted, and that made her a full time job. He made his way towards her room and leaned against the frame. Any other vampire would have had the door open and invited him in but his sister had a tendency to be a bit oblivious. With the pill bottle still in his hand he shook it like a rattle. "Oh, Star, did you forget something today?" he said getting a kick out of his sisters forgetfulness. He waited patiently for her to open her door so he could mock her some more.

☾kiyarah . antoinette . briarwood☽_________________I can't shake the feeling that maybe ____________you're a part of me. Kiyarah Antoinette Briarwood is feeling just a little : { uneasy } Star's response didn't really make Kiyarah feel any better. For one thing, she knew that Hugo was not one to do such things with others. His being was just not the social type. But when the vampire mentioned Hugo probably yelling at a Day Class student and then laughing about it afterwards...well, Kiyarah couldn't help but agree to that one about sixty-five percent of the way. Turning away from the window, closing the curtain, Kiyarah made her careful way back to her vampire companion and sighed. "Ah well. I'll probably see him later during break. I dunno. I haven't had the time to speak to him anymore since the Cha--my father gave the position of prefect to him and I," she muttered, sitting back down the floor. She pulled her legs to her chest, resting her chin on her right knee. "Star, do you ever feel like Adam's position as Head of the Twilight Dorms is causing your close relationship to sort of fade? Like, because of Adam's duties, he's found himself having no leisure time with you like before?" she asked, her blue eyes staring at the floor below her. Kiyarah didn't know why she was asking this question, but something inside her told her that maybe Star and Adam were going through what Kiyarah felt was the same thing that her and Hugo were going through. Or at least what she felt they were going through.
Hugo meant a lot to Kiyarah. And her friendship with him was something she cherished dearly. Because when they first met, he hardly said a word to her. He had had such a cold hard iron wall around him to block everyone out. And his silence killed her inside whenever she tried to become friends with him. That's why when she finally dented her way into his life, she wanted to hold onto it with as much of her life as she could. Hugo was like a brother to her. Someone that she could look up to. They were similar in so many ways. Not only personality wise, but their past were the same. That was why Kiyarah felt the need to come to him everytime she had nightmares about her father. Even though his situation was completely different from hers, the fact that they were the same, that they were both hybrids, made her feel attached to him. There were times when she felt that maybe he was annoyed with her because of this attachment, but then others, like when he showed that he cared, she felt that maybe he didn't really mind her. At this point right now, in her little state of lonliness, Kiyarah wanted her brother-like figure right now to speak to.
Just then, there was a voice at Star's door. Kiyarah's head snapped towards the piece of wood, her beating heart accelerating at an increasing rate. She recognized that voice. It was the same voice that haunted her dreams sometimes, when her father wasn't doing the haunting. Adam... she thought in her mind, not even taking the risk of sighing his name out. That would mean having Star know about her affection for her brother. Looking at Star for a moment, Kiyarah wondered what Adam was talking about. Then she heard the rattle of pills or tablets and understood. "Well what do you know, he does care," she teased with a smile as she got up and headed to the door to open it for Adam. The closer she walked to the door, the faster her heart beated with a combination of excitement and nervousness. And before she knew it, she was at the door, her shaking hand holding tight to the doorknob. With a deep breath, she turned the knob and slowly pulled the door open.
In front of her was the most handsomest guy she had ever laid eyes on. Adam Kiles may have looked eighteen, but his actions were one of a matured gentleman. Kiyarah's face burned, causing a bright red blush to appear on her cheeks as she looked at him. "He-Hello, Adam. It's nice to see you again," she said, fighting the stutter that hung at the tip of her tongue. If she stuttered in front of him, he would probably think that she was one of those overexcited fangirls that could not get words out in her presence. But she wasn't like that. She liked him sure, but to keep her feelings secret, she had to act professional around him. And it wasn't so hard. After all, the man that raised her was the Chairman of the school. So acting professional to those superior to her was a daily routine. Her blue eyes turned down to the packet of blood tablets in his pale hands. This gave her something to do so that she would not look stupid in front of Adam. "So Star wasn't kidding when she told me that you had her tablets. I gave her mine so that she wouldn't have the thirst for human blood. I don't really need them that much. I can just take one every other day anyway," she explained, her eyes looking back up at Adam again. Relax, Kiyah. He's just Adam. Sure you have a crush on him, but he's still a friend. she thought, taking in a deep breath before opening the door wider for Adam. "I don't know if Star wants you to come in, but go ahead if you want to. Your sister can just kick you out if she doesn't want you here," she said with a teasing smirk on her full lips. She then turned to look at Star, smiling softly at her. It was slightly awkward being here, with the siblings on either side of her. With her history with vampires, Kiyarah felt kind of uneasy.

.::Star . Resme . Carter::. You know you want me......
It's just too bad I'm beyond your reach Star Resme Carter is feeling:.::Happy::. Nodding absent mindly as Kiyarah talked about Hugo, Star twirled her hair between her fingers. That was a habit she had gotten into ever since becoming a vampire. For some strange reason, she had never been able to stop. "Star, do you ever feel like Adam's position as Head of the Twilight Dorms is causing your close relationship to sort of fade? Like, because of Adam's duties, he's found himself having no leisure time with you like before?" The question probed Star's mind, but then she shook away all doubt. Grinning, she said, "Nah. Not Adam. He always has time for me." Even though her brother had gone 'missing' this morning, the Head Vampire was usually where she could find him. And if it was urgent, he would probably be with her in a heart beat. "Sure, its a bit stressed, but I think we're okay." Just as Star was finishing her sentence, Adams voice entered the room. Kiyarah spun around and quickly opened the door for the hot-a** vampire. Giggling as she watched the pretty Day Class prefect greet Adam and explain to him all the earlier events, Star stood up and walked toward him. "Your sister can just kick you out if she doesnt want you here." Laughing at Kiyarah's words, Star put on an innocent face and teased, "Awww. How could widdle Star kick out big, strong Adam?" Passing Kiyarah and until she was right infront of Adam -who, by the way, was much taller than she was- Star took the tablets and grinned. "Here's your thank-you gift." With that, Star elbowed Adam in the stomache. It was about as high as she could manage. Besides, Adam was probably expecting that; Star was very predictable in situations like these with her brother.Smelling Marcus and a human girl scent wavering off Adam's shirt, Star sighed. Is Marcus hanging with that girl again? I told him to back off before Adam found out. Shaking her head, Star felt a bit sorry for Marcus. Was it that bad for a vampire to fall for a human? Remembering a human guy she had a crush on when she was still human, Star almost cried. That was another bad thing about being a vampire: remembering all the things you could do when you were human. Kiyarah might not have noticed, but her distress was plain as day to Adam. Then a thought struck her. Dang, Star. That was like, the millionth flashback you've had today! Smiling against her will, she put her own tablets into her pocket and handed Kiyarah's back to her. "Don't worry, Kiyah. I only took one. It won't harm you." Kiyarah was nervous, being with two vampire siblings and Star could tell. Almost regretting that she had brought Kiyarah into the Twilight Dorm, Star contemplated what to do. Kiyah probably wanted to get out, unless she was loving the sight of her brother. But on the other hand, Star really wanted to talk to Adam, and kicking him out after going to the dining hall just to find him? The most stupid thing to do. Nearly groaning aloud, the female vampire remained in between the two and shot Adam a look that said: I'm leaving this one to you, "beloved brother". It was half serious, half sarcastic. Now lets just hope nothing bad comes out of this.

Adam James Kiles Leading is all about... ... listening first. Adam James Kiles is feeling [Relaxed] As Adam stood at the door a different voice rang our from the room. He was so distracted but then he herd the heartbeat followed by it speeding up. And Star brought Kiyarah back to her room. Just then the door opened and Kiyarah stood in front of him. He responded to the conversation they had before the door had been opened. "Sorry I wasn't around this morning, Star. I had something that needed attending to." he flashed a smile at her but quickly straitened his face. "He-Hello, Adam. It's nice to see you again," Kiyarah said to him looking to the ground. Adam nodded and said "Hello, Kiyarah. There is a girl from the day class I found with one of my kind in the woods. You might want to do something about that." he looked at her his eyes smoldering. It's not that Kiyarah was un-attractive but with his duties settling down wasn't an option. He shifted his weight, not because he needed to it was just habit from being around so many humans. "My I?" he said looking into the room, waiting for Kiyarah. But she responded "Your sister can just kick you out if she doesnt want you here." His sister retorted "Awww. How could widdle Star kick out big, strong Adam?" and moved standing in front of him. He handed the pills to her, she would think she took them from him. then she shifted a little. And an elbow to the gut. just then her elbow hit him in the stomach. He rolled his eyes, before anyone noticed. As they stood there Adam noticed the shift in Stars body language and the look on her face. It looked pained and he knew she could smell Marcus on him. He had known her so long he could read her thoughts on her face. He set one of his cold hands on her shoulder "Yes, Star, it could be very bad." he said answering her thoughts. He squeezed past them into the room trying not to make physical contact with Kiyarah. If he touched her he figured she would probably faint. He looked around her room it was exactly like her room back home, unkempt and dark. The room felt a little tense and he knew it was because of Kiyanah. But at this point he was good at ignoring it. "Star," he said in his low convincing voice "why were you in the dining hall during the Day class?" His face seemed a little annoyed, but he knew that he sister would do something foolish when he didn't find her before she wanted to go out wandering. Most of the other vampires new the consequences for being around humans and Star still had difficulties controlling her thirst.
