“I was just thinking that it would be wonderful if you and Holly would pay me a visit together sometime.” Breeze said looking delighted. “I’d like to see him as well.”
And with the hopes of a new visit lingering in the air, the teacher feels more confident to let go of the current moment as perfect as it is. She stands up, stretching her wings slowly and preens a few flight feathers.
“Well, I suppose the grumpy little shadow needs me now. Ally, on my back, please.” Lowering a wing to help the companion climb her feathery body, the teacher smiled back at her former student. “Keep up the good work, Ossie. And don’t forget to drag Holly along next time.”

As the skurri left her place on Ossie's talons, Mus spread her body lavishly over them and gave Ally a rather triumphant grin. In her mind, she won after all, seeing as Ossie was her big bird. The mus still felt a pang of jealousy over the visit, but it would fade quickly, especially once they were flying again.
Ossie was beaming, even though the visit was drawing near an end and her former instructor would be assisting a new fledgling, the next generation of young wings. The night was a lovely one and this particular time was perfect. She hoped when she and Holly came together it would be just as wonderful.
"Keep up the good work, Ossie."
She had to fight from dipping her head almost bashfully under the teacher's praise and her heart felt like it would burst with happiness.
"I will! Thank you, and I will most definitely bring him with me." She informed with a brisk nod as she shifted, nudging Mus to the platform, and stretched out her wings in preparation for the flight to the drop off platform. It wouldn't be long now and with the visit with Breeze and the prospects of meeting Holly shortly, she felt as though her heart could sing.
Mus scrambled up her master's back and settled between her wings just as Ossie was moving to the edge of the platform. "Have a good evening!" She gave a final hoot before she launched herself into the chilly night and faded into the darkness.

Breezed nodded a last goodbye as her former student left, feeling a burning eagerness to train more and more fledglings just like that fiery Mist.
“Now, Crow… Let’s see if you can you do it again.” The teacher said with a cold mocking tone filled with disbelief as she planned in silence all the stories of the Osprey-Holly duo that she could tell Crow in order to tease a better performance out of him. There were many...
