the difference is in my opinion that cute and pretty aren't really deep terms they kind of seem juvenile to me because when you are in a young relationship you'd say pretty and cute but saying someone is beautiful is like saying I love you if you say it right to say to someone they are beautiful is something that just feels deeper to me than pretty because beautiful can be used as more than just a description of looks but beauty can be both outer and inner

This is the way I see it in terms, of cute, pretty, beautiful
Cute: adorable, makes you go 'Awwww', sort of like a baby.
Pretty: attractive, but should you and they have conflicting personalities it wouldn't work.
Beautiful: Awe-inspiring, leads to lust with disregard to personality.
but this is mostly a matter of opinion so, take it with a grain of salt.
