I'm not against the belief of God/Jesus/etc, I just think when you get a whole bunch of people in a room, it tends to stray more into the "do this/be this or burn in hell" as opposed to what a god would really want: i.e. be accepting, loving, loyal, etc.
That's nice, Ace. Arvis? You're creepily observant and your retentive faculty is remarkable, Tango. All I have to say is that the Hellfire Doctrine is not a Scripturally supported teaching. And I have gotten some before. I've just been abstinent for the last year and a half, and I'm still going strong. Creepy is good. I didn't know that retentive was a word before today, but with any luck, I won't forget.

You know, Arvis. I just don't get this topic's title. I mean, how were we supposed to know that you have thumbs? All you've ever shown us about yourself is:  Is that supposed to suggest that you have two thumbs? By the way, is your Mr. Poatatohead for your cats or do you get bored sometimes? mrgreen

Wak knows where's it's at. Actually, Ace. you'd actually have a bit of a supporter in me about organized religion. Although I go to church (usually Baptist) I don't actually consider myself part of one group. I'm more about reading the Bible for myself and forming my own conclusions, maybe with a little help sometimes. Edit: You having avatar problems? Extra Edit: Freakin' Gaia.
