What can you do being "Crew" different to being "Member"?


Very good question! I learned all of this on the fly after becoming captain of this clan myself. I attempted to explain this and some other common questions in a new README thread

But basically:

Anyone, even non members, can view the forums (chose this setting)
Members can post in the forums
Crew can EDIT the forums, such as editing other people's posts and moving topics. They can also invite new members. Lastly they can access the "Officer's Lounge" forum that I set like that.
Vice Captains can promote and demote people in addition to everything Crew can do.
And the Captain can do all that plus sell or delete the clan.

I think Estadan understands it even better. Now the bummer is that we can NOT change the names of these ranks, and I think the only thing I can change in the powers is I could take away the posting rights of clan chat rights of different ranks. Like I'd want to do that!
