the memberlist is this much to make sure we actually get new members by a high spot in the guild list... nobody looks at guilds with a few members... sweatdrop
Besides, filtering the incomes isn't a really good idea... sometimes people that can RP good fill in a short story, or people fill in a very long story, but can't RP... you might accept the wrong ones that way..
Therefor, I prefer banning if they misbehave, but just accept all requests. It -seems- like more work to you, but that is why we have a relativly high amount of mods 3nodding
remember, I've been a guild mod/admin since day one, and due to a mass sign up by NJO members we have been on page 1 for a long time...
when we fell back to guild page 2, I did notice a decrease in joinups.
Still, if you search on "star wars", we are the highest listed. And people tend to click that quickest. So we shouldn't loose that place too....
also, I take it anakin is reported?

We shall all hail WhiteJoker. He responded to my harassment application, and did an excellent job in taking care. I received confirmation that he's taken care of it for the moment...
WhiteJoker If you guys have notified other moderators please have them delete those PMs. If not, that's alright. It's been taken care of for the moment, if he does return, let us know and we'll look into a more permanent solution.
... as it says, if he returns, we are to notify them. ^__^

I'm going to create an NPC who's an information broker, unless someone has an objection. I figured we needed a "Talon Karrde" for the occational times we want to be able to get word out to people about something in a discrete manor and having one NPC that we can RP to know everything worth knowing - or so he can brag - makes more sense than all of us having a spy network and getting yelled at for knowing things we shouldn't. This is an underground operation, which means not everyone will know he exists but enough people do to be able to recommend him to someone looking for information. sweatdrop Hope that was descriptive enough. Now to do the application and create him a base.
PS, sorry for the spam. I love spam. Spammy spam spam. hehehehe

Question for DE: the nerazza (or is it nerezza... like you said in an earlier post) topic you made is SRP, not MRP...if I'm supposed to go there for the story... make it mrp please

New guild bugs:
-Post deleting: If you click "delete post", then click No, the post gets deleted anyway. So use backward instead of No (doesn't apply for deleting topics, since they work in another way)
-Create new topic: Make sure you are in the guilds forum for that. Clicking "new topic" when in viewing another thread warps you back to the guilds listing (ya know, where you see Leon)

February 1 ~ Another "darth anakin" encounter took place last night, and it was speedily dealt with. He's earned himself a two-week band for spamming and harassment.WhiteJoker Taken care of. He'll be gone for 2 weeks, and when he undoubtly returns to pick up where he left, he'll be gone forever. At least as Darth Anakin.

If you asked me, I would have approved it. Yes, I know there is a rule that OOC topics -can- just be created, but they have to be on SW topic, else they'll be deleted. just ask next time.

I don't care if this is supposed to go here or not, it is anyway. Sephi-chan be going away for most of the week, starting from 4am on Monday -_- I be going to Prague domokun That's right! I get to miss 4 days of school to walk around a city that is -10ËšC and has 2 inches of ice over all the roads >.< That may not seem bad to some of you, but to me, it is.
Anyways, as I will not be here, Xiao is pretty much left to checking the Apps. Have fun!

Gaia has been having many problems today and I just wanted to comment on them. Guild servers seem to be back up for the moment, but there are still problems with log ins, the bank, and the marketplace. This is just an FYI to the members and everyone with what I've heard so far (been spending the past hour in the Q&F).
~If you get gold or have items in your account that do not belong there, contact a mod. Do not spend the gold under any circumstances (someone got 90k for doing nothing but immediately reported it so she will be OK).
~If you cannot log into your account, use the memberlist to look up your profile. The link to your profile will include your username at the end of it. (For instance, http://www.gaiaonline.com/profile/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=165816 is the link to my profile so I am user # 165816. Use your user number in place of your username (so I'd login as '165816' instead of 'Skie') and your normal password and it should let you in.
~Gaia fishing is UP
~Marketplace is UP
~Bank trades are UP

After small talks with darth_anakin and with his evidence, we have come to the conclusion to report his a**. Not only did he return to the guild when he was specifically told not to be official Gaia Moderators, but he is now exploiting the glitch against Maniac. The cause of the glitch is unknown to the Moderators, but exploiting it, amoung his other pass offences, will not be tolerated anymore. We regret having to do this, but we had no other choices.
Hopefully, this will action will never be taken again against any user.

Ok people, I have just noticed there is a severe lack of the Republic faction of the Intergalactic Alliance. Without a Republic, the Jedi will stand no chance against the Imperial domination and the RP will be very dull.
This is a serious plea for someone to make and control a Republic fleet/army.

Right, now no one can b***h that Sephy does nothing as a Mod. Sephy has gone over the remaining Jedi applications, tidied up the stickies, wrote a new guild homepage and will be PMing the inactive members of the Jedi thread. Sephy spent several hours doing this (damn dial-up) so people better be grateful! scream
Oh, Sephy noticed two things while he was working...
1. There are a few outstanding Dark and Neutral apps that need taking care of by whoever does them.
2. The only announcement of the guild is outdated and should really be removed, but Sephy didn't want to do this and be wrong ^^;
