The moment Sonic yelled "Syche", the two of them vanished, leaving behind holes in the floor and a faint blue streak. The bunny looked around...

Sonic streaked along, keeping up with Seta easily, not wanting to show his true speed until it was absolutely necessary. Besides, he wanted to see what this guy could do. He had already far surpassed what Sonic expected of him, thinking he would be left behind in the dust, running at 10, or some ridiculous, slow-mo speed. But, just as he decided to pull slightly ahead.......

As they both waited at the red light, Seta began to think. This creature is running faster than I had thought. I'll have to go 3 away from Shukuchi to beat him. He's not worth any more than that. The light turned green and they...

Sonic smirked, looking sideways toward his opponent. Ha! piece a cake!! Sonic jumpeed high into the air, summersaulting twice before landing lightly on top of the turtle's hard shell, and dissapeared with a hop over the other side of the mammath.

Seta watched the hedgehog jump over the large turtle. "I will not waste such energy." Sorry, but you do not have the strength to stop me creature, you are weak... and I am strong. He used his Shuntensatsu ("Instant Heaven Kill") to slice through the creature without losing his speed. The asphalt below him was crushed under each footstep as the two of them raced onward.

Sonic saw Seta pull back up to his side with his periferal, and smirked. Heh. looks like I've finally got a real challenge here! He was already pouring on the speed, but was not yet at his top. Not to mention the momentum carrying him forward. With a small hop he did an about-face, running in a backward position, not losing any speed, but, rather, gaining. Hey!! This has been fun!! Sonic said aloud, yelling over the wind in his face. But I think it's about time we brought this to an end!! He launched forward, or, rather, backward, leaving behind quite a dust cloud, still running backward. Gotta JUICE! See ya later, "Slo-Mo"!!!

Seta smiled at the blue creature's taunts. Apparently he was holding back... good, I haven't had a chance to use this in a while. "Ok then, two away from Shukuchi!" Seta's speed greatly increased. It didn't take him long to catch up with the hedgehog. The creature was still running in reverse, so Seta closed the gap between them and ran, smiling all the while, a few inches from his face. "I too have a few tricks hedgehog." And with that Seta sped off around the creature and towards the nearby buildings. He maintained his speed and ran along side of them, well ahead of the hedgehog. I'm not done yet. "One away from Shukuchi!" The glass on the sides of the buildings shattered under his footsteps as he ran across the windows, leaving the creature well into the distance. At this height, Seta could see a great distance away. Ahead of him was a beach and the vast ocean. At one away from Shukuchi, water will be no problem to traverse. Unless you can fly hedgehog, I will be the victor without even reaching true Shukuchi.
