Taro looked back and grinned, "I guess I'll see you soon Yumi, bye." he waved and felt a hand on his chest.
Katsu created a shadow creature, "Get on, it won't hurt you Taro." he said.
Taro climbed onto the creature and looked at Katsu, who had just turned all black and spikes were sprouting from his arms and back.
Katsu looked down at Taro once more, "Come." a command, not to Taro, but the creature. Katsu walked toward where the gunshot came from and created a ring of fire around the woman. He walked into the ring, still in demon form, "What are you doing here? Shooting at children? Tsk, tsk, tsk." he said in a mocking voice.
Taro sat on the creature, which waited patiently outside the ring for its master.

Yumi looked out the window at the battle that was unfolding. Everything was happening so fast. She looked at the others. "Does anyone know whats going on here? I'm scared."
Sosuke noticed the reinforcments and saw his chance to strike. While the enemy was preoccupied with the Katsu, he swooped from behind and gave her a warning cut on her arm. "If you go on, you will die. I suggest you leave now!" He landed beside Katsu ready to kill the woman.

Katsu looked at Sosuke, "Calm down, no need to go beserk." he said, "She obviously knows by now that she messed with the wrong kids.

Sosuke sheathed his sword. "One cannot learn from their mistakes unless they face the consequences of their actions." He looked back at the woman. "You are no longer a threat. It would be foolish to attempt another attack." Sosuke turned and flew off back to the school.

Katsu left the ring of fire and changed into his regular form, "Don't worry about her, she is going to leave." he muttered, changing the ring of fire from around the woman to a protective circle around the school, just blocking the woman out.
Taro nodded and looked at Katsu, "What's your name?" he asked innocently.
Katsu smiled at the boy, "Katsu, child, my name is Katsu." he said.
Taro smiled, "Well, I'm Taro." he said.

Kohaku hadn't said anything as he saw the angels appear, fighting off the woman with the gun. He looked to them with curiosity but stayed inside, in fear of being hurt.
Each of them has come for someone specifically... not me...
"Aw... Am I late for the party?"
A woman appeared though the barrier Katsu had created around the school and landed gracefully on the ground. She had short and wild hair that carressed the back of her neck and clean white wings. She wore a sleeveless black shirt and baggy blue jeans with chains and a sword hanging loosly from her leather belt. She looked around and pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket.
"Hm... I'm looking for a kid named Kohaku... " She looked over to the others and shrugged her shoulders.
"Anyone know who he is?"

Katsu shrugged, "I'm just here for Taro." he replied.
Taro pointed at the child looking up at them, "There he is." he declared, feeling proud that he could inform somebody older than him of something.
Katsu looked at the boy, "There you go." he muttered and continued walking, the shadow creature with Taro on it's back close behind.

Yumi tugged at the valiant looking man beside her. "Hey mister. What's your name?" She looked at him wide eyed with a big grin on her face.
"My name is Sosuke, little one. I am here to protect you." He patted her little head.
"Ok Mr.Sosuke." Yumi said giggling.

Adrian waved her hand at the little boy Taro in thanks and gave Katsu a scowl. They never really got along. Ignoring the two, she turned to see Kohaku peering softly from the window seal. With skill, she moved quickly and walked inside the school building, turning to him with a kind smile.
"Hi there, I'm Adrian, and you must be Kohaku..."
She bowed her head slightly as she folded her wings against her back. Kohaku nodded his head, standing up to gaze at the angel with interest.
"Y-yes..."
Adrian gave the boy a warm smile and held out her hand. "Would you like to come with me?"
Kohaku pondered this for a minute before nodding and taking Adrian's warm hand. Adrian then lifted him with little effort onto her back and spread her wings wide, flying out of the building.

Sosuke could still sense that danger was near. "This school is no longer safe, Yumi. We need to leave as soon as possible. Go get your things so we may be off."
"Ok, hold on." Yumi said as she ran up the stairs and was back down in two minutes.
Sosuke could heard Yumi thinking of Akira. "Don't worry little one. Her guardian is on the way. She will be safe." With that Yumi climbed on his back and they were off.
((I don't really know... any ideas? lol))

Benny started dumbly at the monsters before her eyes; it was only after they had left her sight that she could gain her hard earned self control. She cocked her gun and took another shot at the window, hoping to scare up another monster, this time it would die. Her rough callused fingers griped the cold black gun and her eyes stayed locked on the school. She stood low, ready to act at the first sight of the enemy. In the back of her head she was pissed off for freezing up like she had. After so many years she should have been ready fro anything. Monsters were not that unheard of, right?

((Katsu is taking Taro to an abandoned building stocked with food and water and taking care of him, while teaching Taro his powers and abilities, others can come if they want))
Katsu changed into his demon form when he heard the second shot and looked at Taro, "Get on." he said.
The creature disappeared slowly, putting Taro on the groud gently. Taro got onto Katsu's back and smiled, "I'm ready." he said.
Katsu began to run. He ran with blinding speed to the building where he would keep Taro safe.

((*shrugs* I suppose... ))
Adrian nearly dodged the bullet as she flew higher, away from the school folllowing Katsu's scent to the meeting place. She could sense a great fear inside Kohaku about the child left behind.
"Don't worry, her Guardian will come soon..."
Kohaku gave a nod, not wanting to ask too many questions now, afriad the angel would somehow lose concentration and fall out of the sky. For now, he simply held on to Adrian with his arms around her neck and hoped they would reach land soon, though he did enjoy the rush of air in his face.

Katsu slowed and eventually stopped in front of an old building. He put Taro down and changed into his regular form. He led Taro inside to a room with a bed, "Here, stay here until I tell you it's safe." he said.
Taro sat on the bed obidiently and waited for Katsu.
Katsu turned in the doorway and sent several shadow creatures through the building, it was clear, "Okay. you can explore now." he said.

Sosuke heard the gunshot and quickened his speed. "Hold on tight, Yumi." He dove down and landed gracefully at the entrance of the vacant looking building.
"What is this place Mr.Sosuke?" Yumi jumped off his back and peeked in the doorway.
"It's where we will be staying for the time being. Katsu and Taro are already inside." He gave her a friendly smile and they walked in.
"Taro!" Yumi yelled!
