Rue winced some at Ark's last comment on Titan. It hurt her some just imagining what that had done to Titan's feelings. She huffed, not wanting to help either one of the helixes. Especially that female. She knew if they did stick around to help, she'd be asked to create that plant mixture she used when she first met Titan. Her tongue seemed to dry from the memory of the nasty taste. Her eyes narrowed a little at Victoria, clearly getting across her non existent want to stay. Her muzzle twitched some as she glared at the female.

Titan snarled at Arks command. He was used to ordering others around and listening only to those he thought worthy and his brother... trying to tell him what to do... it infuriated him. His next words startled and stung him at the same time. Sure, it wasn't completely his fault. Her siblings were torn apart and the place reeked of death. How was he to know there was a chance that one managed to live? But he was still filled with guilt. He should have made sure. If Sonet was alive, she would have been disapointed in him. His first litter and he couldn't even check to see if they survived. His ears flattened and his lips raised in a silent growl. He pressed closer to Rue and glared hatefully at his brother.

Eros turned his head, looking behind him and Eden. Was that grey male talking about them? It seemed he was, based on Eden's reply. He noticed her shift in weight and glanced at her leg, worried. He'd noticed it before but he wasn't sure if it was safe for him to expose his soft spots to help her take care of it. "Uh... no." he said, his voice a bit flat, to Victoria. "Oh, that's all right. We'll manage." he said, offering her a smile. She seemed the nicest out of the whole group. His tounge poked out from between his teeth, filling the gap where his old fang was, before retreating and he glanced at the armored male nervously, reminded of what he could do. He looked angry and that wasn't a good sign.

Victoria whimpered quietly and nudged the good shoulder of Eros. The hateful eyes of Eden made Victoria pull away, her eyes looking up to Eros again. "But please.. it would make me feel better about this entire situation.." She ducked her head some, her eyes staring up at him in a pitifully sad looking way. She shifted her gaze to Ark, looking for back up but saw his poker face and quickly flickered back to Eros' more kinder and gentler look.

Rue whimpered quietly, nuzzling into Titan's neck to give him comfort. She didn't like seeing him hurt, and it infuriated her that Ark would stoop so low as to hurt his brother in the most dishonorable way. Her eyes narrowed and burrowed into Arks' back which was turned from Titan and Rue both after his words had been said.

Eden's eyes drifted from the older female to the one that seemed this confrontation centered around. "We really don't need or require your assistance, thank you.." her lips pulled back into an angry snarl-look. She stood to her feet, motioning for Eros to follow her. Limping away, she continuously looked behind to check for a sneak attack.

Ark's face was emotionless, keeping an eye on everyone around him. No one more or less than another. When Victoria offered a second time, Ark cleared his throat but she didn't hear. Obvious, the one in charge of the boy was the female and she didn't want to stick around. Sighing quietly, he stepped forward and cleared his throat more loudly. "Lets go Victoria.. we need to be getting home anyway.." he spoke in a tone that didn't leave room for argument.

Titan growled at Ark but couldn't bring himself to leave. Victoria was still here and who knew what two adolescents could do to Ark? In his mind, Ark was still his small pup of a brother, the weaker one, the one that needed more protecting. He shook his head. Ark was grown now, but that still didn't change the fact that he didn't trust Ark with Victoria. Why, just the other day a strange male passed by and looked at Victoria and he didn't do anything! Titan hmphed, remembering the feel of the satisfaction as he chased the male away far far away, kicking his tired body into the stream. He made sure to get some dirt on the male, too. No one would look at his daughter that way and pass by without complimenting her.

Eros glanced down at the female nudging him. She was smaller than him so she was probably younger. He frowned at Eden's methods and tried himself. "Um... thanks for the offer, but really, we don't need it. We're okay." he said. He gave a small laugh to show that he was fine. He glanced at Eden and back at the group. He signed, getting up on his paws. "I really am sorry about all this." he said. He meant to look at Titan but his eyes lingered on Victoria and after a moment, he followed after his sister. He didn't look back -- he trusted them, or at least the red female -- except the one time he peeked quickly at the red female, wondering what her name was and how she ended up with such a family.
