My great grandfather on my mother's side was a freemason! I dedicated a few months of my life studying them and their connections to the Knights Templar. If anyone wants to know what I discovered, PM me, because it's too freaky to post.

dancing-in-the-streets Zumbi2 Okay i used to have mormon friends until they tried to convert me while I was sleeping. And I found out that several of them hit women. Fact is Mormons are total hypocrites. And if anybody has read their bibles, they are total contridiction of each other and fary tales. They think Jews are native americans, and that Moses is from South America. There is a lot more, but I don't feel like typing all of it. Oh wait, they are also have what they call magic underwear that they believe can save them from bullets. And it is full of free mason symbols. And Joseph smith was a free mason. *Is rather offended* If I were to say "Fact is Jews are total hypocrites" everyone here would freak out. Generalizations are rude, uninformed and bother me a lot. They don't have "bibles"-they have the King James, one that says "Another Testament of Christ" right under the title, and a bunch of stories that get passed down as fact but...really, when you ask, you are told they aren't. They do not think Jews are from South America, nor Moses. They follow the same standard Bible as the rest of Christianity and additionally believe that Jesus spent time in America after he vacated the Middle East. Yes, lots in common with the Freemasons, and Joseph Smith was a Freemason. 'sall good. They don't call them Magic Underwear, (others do) and they don't freakin stop bullets. *sigh* I wasn't even on here to talk about Mormons. I wanted to know about the Israel/Palestine thing. *starts thread on that* They are. I've been inside their temples, heard what they talk about, what they really think about us (and it is not good things), and yes they do have more than one bible. They just say they use the king james bible. They in truth do not. Their bible talks about how how Jews visited the South americas and taught the mayans everything they know, and it keeps going on with such dribble. Don't believe me, go research and learn the truth for yourself.

I lost respect for them after they keept on calling my house and talking about Jesus, and how I'm going to hell unless I begin to believe I am the decendent of Moroni. Screw that bullshiet.

Me and my sister decided we're going to take Utah back. Lol.
I mean I have mormon family and mormon friends and I love them dearly, but the mormon church has burned me too many times. Plus I'm an Arkansan. We've got beef with the Salt Lake mormons.

Don't believe me, go research and learn the truth for yourself. I've been avoiding saying it, but most people here already know (or guess)- I AM Mormon. Not practicing, because I think the LDS church is doing a lot of bullsh*t things, but I think I know what we do and dont' do with the Bible. And, when you look at the teachings of Joseph Smith, you know he had nothing but the utmost respect for Jews and Judaism. Shoot, it was reading about his respect that led me to look at Judaism more closely. Brigham Young, the leader after him, had issues with everyone and that is where the majority of Mormon issues with other cultures (and races. And gender equality) stemmed from. I've researched plenty, and continue to do so. *grumble*

I think this conversation needs to end, since if we're to correct Dancing-in-the-streets in some of her assertions, it will be seen by her as an attack on her, Mormons, or Mormonism. If we let those assertions stand, we will be guilty of not speaking up with untruths (to be fair, MISTAKES due to lack of proper information, not deliberate lies) being spoken about Judaism.
Therefore, let it all halt right now.
