one_crazy_dork ...yuna would not go from long skirt to shorts that looks like a belt in 2 years... Keep in mind that it was rikku's idea for the clothes so that she would look different(and she ment different) so that she could search for spheres on the mysterious sphere kimahri found for her. It's all in the Pre-movie.

It's all in the Pre-movie. ...which is completely negated by the fact that everyone knows exactly what she looks like and even goes nuts when they see her. That explanation doesn't fly when you watch a cutscene of everyone staring at her when she approaches Djose Temple (I believe...it's been a while since I played, it's the one you get Ixion at).

X-2 isn't all that bad as people are saying it is, i liked the "sub-characters (most of them) and the "music", and so on and so forth .(although getting 100% was a big pain in the butt evil plus with a little "accident" was forced to redo the game) but after getting the 100%, don't want to be a spoiler, but, oh, i don't know, tidus comes around again mrgreen

I like both of them. Both have own stories but mostly same characters. And FFX-2 is full of girl power ^^

Yuna and Rikku aren't sluts! Just because they wear less clothing, that doesn't make them a slut..That's a bit sterio typing. Brother is a freak...Hitting on his own cousin. Anyway, FF X-2 isn't that great..More like a chick flick...The girls represents Charle's Angels. I just like the battle system and some of the mini games are fun.
Edit:2/5/06 It's enjoyable to play, but I just think the game storyline isn't that great and not challenging enough. I thought the final boss Shinyu was hard; I'm disapointed about it... Leblanc is annoying...I don't like Rikku in X-2, she just a little annoying, but I like her better in the first game.

Ryukkuu I thought X-2 was okay.. it was just really, -really- corny at times. sweatdrop But it was still fun to play, at least.
Trying to get the perfect ending is insane, though. I was going to, but I never got around to it. sweatdrop same here. i really really REALLY tried to get that perfect ending, but the guide book had an error in it which made some things confusing. but i'm still trying

X-2 isn't that bad. It is enjoyable and i liked it. The story really sucks in X-2, until you see the complete ending. The batlle system is uqiue, but not that great. over all, good game, but doesn't live up its expectation as FFX's sequel.

if you look at it as a game seperate from X, without all the expectations, I am actually finding the game to be quite enjoyable. It has it's strong and weak points, but honestly, what game doesn't? I don't believe it's really given as much credit as it deserves.
People always say, but X had this, and X was like that (yes, I miss the sphere grid too wink but this isn't X!!! The only things really similar are the characters and the places (and sure, there's still blitzball.) But that is where the similarities end. It is a different game, with a different story, about Yuna tyring to figure out what the hell she's going to do with the life she never thought she'd have.

My not at all humble opinion...
FFX- A brilliant game. My first ever Final Fantasy experiance (with the exception of Mystic Quest, which doesn't really count.) and a great game in general. I liked the battle system, gives you time to think and plot moves. I loved the story line, the characters were wonderfully developed and very sympathetic. Some parts of it took a bit too long to get over with, and there was the occasional thing that could have been done better, but the end of the game was a masterpiece that brought everything together. To me, even the idea of a sequal ruins the end of FFX entirly, and nothing is worth destroying that.
FFX2- Okay, I am treating this pretty unfair and harsh here. Maybe it doesn't deserve what I'm about to say, but I'm tired and feel like saying it. Anyway, this is a game where I decided that I could never like it after the opening scene. Not even if it wasn't a sequal to one of my all time favorite games could I have liked this game after that opening music scene. There should have been a warning on the box, "Surgeon General's Warning: Caution! Side effects of this product may include upset stomach, and bleeding from the ears. Wear earplugs at all musical interludes. You have been warned." As my friend Johnny said, "It's bloody well obvious who they marketed this thing for." (Teenage boys). Also, I'd have liked it if there were more than 3 characters. I lost all tactical interest once I found out that you only had the choice of three people to fight with. Anyway, I'll stop bashing now. -Affers
