Duncan gave a smile before he turned and started along with his new friend to find something else interesting to look at. There were a lot of cats of various sizes and colors in this area. Lions, Tigers, Leopards, and many, many others... quite pretty really, pretty and dangerous... he found himself liking the cats quite a bit... and found himself wondering what it would be like to have a pet cat.
"A cat would be a neat pet." He said, realizing that he'd spaced off into silence as they walked so tried to start up another conversation, "Maybe not one as big as these though."

Ty just remembered something when Duncan said that, "I have two new kittens! One is white, while the other is black... You can have one if you want to..."

"Kittens, huh?" Duncan looked interested, seriously interested... then shook his head, "I would need to ask my Dad about it first, see what he thought." As tempting as it was to agree to taking in a kitten he couldn't do that without first consulting the one that was in charge.
It would be neat though, a kitten... just imagine that.

"They're really cute, and Mom even says that pets will help with making you feel well again when you're sick..! They also help calm people down... Not saying that you need it that much..."

Duncan gave a smile, Tykier was right, he wasn't to upset at the moment... in fact he felt calm. It was a nice feeling if rather fleeting some days. After all he was calm down because he knew that the other wrath child was to kind to be a worry... to begin with the other boy had put him on edge... so while he knew he could maintain calm it was something he would have to work on.
"It would be neat to have a pet." He murmured, wondering if he dared to chance taking one in. He would hate for something small and innocent to be in danger because of his volatile temperament.

Tykier was smiling, thinking that Duncan will take good care of the kitten, if his guardian said yes to having one... Thinking about that, he asked, "Which one would you probably like..? There's a black, female kitten, who likes to run around, and bully her brother... Or her brother, whose white, like to eat and play a lot..?"

Duncan gave a bit of a chuckle at the description, "The sound of the girl is kind of amusing." He said, imagining what a little bully kitten would be like. She sounded to him a bit like he could be with Adriel. There was something fun about teasing his friend and making him cry.
He continued to walk along to the next display, watching as a massive black cat with golden eyes walked closer to the front, the only thing standing between it and the crowd was the glass of its enclosure, "Woah, would you look at that?" He murmured, all of his eyes getting quite wide.

Tykier looked over at the panther cage, seeing the black cat. "That looks cool!!!" He went over to look at it closer.
