Alice walked quickly away from the house, then broke into a run after hearing people muttering in the distance there's something going on here....i can hear...Edward, Jacob, and Renesmee, but who is the fourth person? she thought wile running, she slowwed as she saw the huge fuzzy mass in the distance. she stared for several moments, she counted, and counted again. this cant be good....words escape me at this point, i'll be there in a second she said to Edward in her mind. she began to walk quickly toward the odd group infront of her I hope this one knows better than to get the idea she can attack and win. Especially with the whole Jacob imprinting and protective family deal going on here.. she thought half to herself and half to Edward as she neared the group.
" Edward, whats going on?" she asked wile she stood next to her brother.

With Edward and Alice here, Jacob relaxed his stance. Especially as he heard the girls explanation. Another half-vampire. What was going on here? 'Edward, read her mind...is she telling the truth?' Jacob anxiously asked. He kept himself between Nessie and the girl regardless, and let Edward do the talking.

Edward lowered his stance scanning the girls mind. "She speaks true," he replied to Alice and Jacob. "Nessie, do you trust her? I don't mind taking her in. I don't think your mom would either."

Renesmee looked at her father. "I trust her. Besides, I don't really have friends." She looked at Erika. "Welcome to our family," she said and took her cold hands. "Oh, we're going to have so much fun," she said.

Bella ran through the forest and stood by Edward. Instinctively, she stretched her shield to cover Alice, Jacob, Renesmee, and Edward. This girl may be a hybrid like Renesmee, but how could she be sure that she didn't have an ability? Edward said that she speaks the truth, so Bella slowly lowered the shield. Edward said that they would take her in, so Bella thought that the girl must mean no harm, and she instantly felt guilty for thinking bad things about the girl. She gave the girl a quick smile, and said, "Welcome."

'Oh great. Another leech.' That was Jacob's first thought. But then he saw how happy Nessie was, and felt better immediatly. Although that stung slightly, how she claimed not to have any friends. If Edward hadn't been there, Jacob would've nipped her ear. And then he froze. Crap, he can hear me. 'Sorry! Sorry, man!' Jake apologized quickly, turning his eyes toward the vampire. 'So we're taking her in?' he asked.

Alice sighed " well, if no one is going to tell me whats happening, i guess i'll just go along with it, then. " she desided. She glanced around Edwards shoulder, noticing she had taken several steps back and was standing behind him. She looked at the other Vampire " Hello" she said, smiling.

Erika smiled timidly, "It's nice to meet you and thankyou very much for taking me in."
She smiled but was unsure if she was doing this right, she hadn't really spoken to anyone in such a long time, she had almost forgotten how to interact with others. Now knowing that the male vampire could read minds, she wondered if he knew about her ability. She thought it was best not to think about what it actually for now. She might need the element of surprise if something went wrong and she had to use it.

[Lmao nice natasha! That's really hilarious! xDD Okay, we have someone for Edward but she's not on much, so I think we'll be sharing him, lol.]
Edward smirked at Jake's thoughts. "You're welcome." He wasn't goning to be rude and scan Erika's thoughts, so he just looked at her for a moment and took Bella's hand, reassuring her and mocking Jacob in a way.

"Okay, well that's my dad, Edward and the woman next to him is my mom, Bella. The spiky haired girl behind them is my Aunt Alice and that guy that was just a wolf a few minutes ago is Jacob or Jake, my boyfriend," she said uneasily, wondering how Erika would take that. "Two of my grandparents, Esme and Carlisle are at the actual house and my Aunt Rosalie, and Uncles Emmett and Jasper are there, too. We live in the cabin. It's nice there, and we'll sleep in the living room tonight I'd guess."

Alice giggled a little when Renesmee referred to her as "Aunt Alice".
"Renesmee, an just so all you guys know, no one is in the house besides me right now. They left me out of a big Hiking/Hunting trip, and this time, the hiking part is true. Jasper used the- 'Someone needs to watch the house wile we're gone, I don’t think Carlisle and Esme want to take the chance of a play fight between the wolves gone bad in their house.... and we already hunted earlier this week'- excuse on me. Translation- 'I'd rather you stay here, something bad could happen'" Alice sighed, " i mean honestly, sometimes he treats me like I’m made of porcelain..." she pointed to herself " hello, Vampire here!" she then realized she was more or less rambling about nothing again, and crossed her arms across her chest." anyway. Hey, do you guys have room for me?" she said looking hopefully at Bella " I don’t take up much space, and it gets lonely in that big house, even for a vampire...Please?"

"Wait, your mother survived?" asked Erika in astonishment. She hadn't really known either of her parents as her mother had died during her birth and her father had run off just after the loss, not really wishing to have anything to do with his new child, afraid that she might remind him of his lost love.
"Wow you're lucky to have such a big family," she noted, "Better late than never to get used to company," she finished with a grin, feeling slightly more relaxed now that the mood had calmed a little.
"You mention wolves... I may not be around vampires very often but I have heard that they don't like wolves much..." Erika thought she might as well get that last question out as her eyes wandered over to Jacob.

Edward smiled. "Well, I guess most normal vampire families don't," Edward chuckled. "I fell in love with a human, a werewolf imprinting on a vampire girl, I wouldn't exactly call that normal."
