I love this movie!! always have... as far as 'emo' that term was reciently coined and doesn't apply to this movie
I saw this when it was in theaters... I relish stop-animation, its hard work and creates a wonderful movie

Th movie is the best. I love it sooo much. Jack is the best. And the kids; Lock, Shock and Barrel are so funny. With their bathtub. Lol. It's so cool.
The animation is awesome. Tim Burton I praise you.

zelda952 I love that movie but... the mayor freaks me out actaully I really like the major... except when he put his hand on his pale face and then left a red handprint... :O

I love the movie! ^_^ One of my favorites! hehehee! Although it did scare me as a child, but I watched it a lot even though it did scare me! lol My cousin Sarah who lives in Hollywood went to the Tim Burton Expo or whatever it was. They had a live play of Edward Scissor Hands, and then like other stuff about him. She said she loved it! lol smile He's an amazing director! I can't wait to see Coraline! XD

The Dark Archer That clay people in the movie scare the crap out of me. Why? I have no idea. Just gives me the chills O_O Haha, I couldn't watch the movie until I was like 15. rofl It's a very solid Tim Burton...but I have to say that his best movie was Edward Scissorhands. That said, I always have songs from this movie in my head...and I was super-pumped when it got re-released this past season!<3

I really like the movie but I can't stand these emos who not even have seen it and decorate their whole appereance with Jack and the over stuff.

"Nightmare Before Christmas" is definitely one of my all-time favorite movies. I was so happy when I was able to get it on DVD (compared to the one on VHS which I grew up on) and I sing the music all the time.
I think it's a classic and just absolutely terrifically done.

8 ya know it wasn't JUST Tim Burton. It might have been his scribbles and words but Danny Elfman brought the fantastic music and Henry Selick brought it all together in a nice little package.
I think those three should team up again and make another spooky wonderful masterpiece.
In the meantime I'll adore that movie and the rest they'll each make.
