GalaxyCommander  The receptionist looked up at the man. "Well yes you are capable of fighting here. That is this buildings prpose is to fight and win fame. In fact there is a battle occuring as we speak. If you wish to become a combant then I need you to send your information to the message box (pm me your profile) Then you can be entered as an official combatant and enter into matches and such. That's not so hard is it?" kochi laughed a little before Aros took over  "thank you i'll work on that right now, is there any wind element stages for my kind?" asked Aros as he slowly walked over to a table with pens and papers. "this shall only take a second." said aros as his neat handwriting swirled over the paper.

The receptionist smiled at him, "The poster on the wall," She pointed as she talked, "Explains all the stadiums combatic arenas, and the basic rules for each stadium, as well as the conditions to various combat alterations."
She finished by taking the papers and knocked them against the wooden desk to even the pages out before sliding them one by one in a strange slit in the table where they rolled away into computer data. "hank you for signing up, sorry to keep you waiting at the moment but you are currently not signed up for any matches, would you like to challenge one of the two arena's great recorded warriors, Takehitsu or the owner himself Jekirato? If not you can go to the preperation area normally known as the pits, "She pointed to a smooth path that went down a little into a strange cylandrical looking entrance. "There is a list of all the warriors who have enlisted as free for fights, you may also watch the screen of the current ongoing fights to amuse youself in safety, or even go out amongst the crowd to feel the more intensity and render yourself vulnerable to the fighters attacks that go awry." She smiled waiting for his response.

 The first would warn Laphiette of the movement from behind. However she was human. She turned a worried look back and attempted to jump hopefully avoiding the nasty attacking branches. She was only minorly succesful as one went under her right armpit and flew into the back of the wall. The second branch went right next to her face and grazed her cheek leaving a slice with a fresh tear of blood coming from it's side. The third hit home as it went into and through her left shoulder. The fourth did similar going through her leg as when she jumped her body arched in an awkward angle. The last went near her right foot but also missed.
She was shocked as she knew she could not keep up with the speed of the attack. However pain was written all over her face as she hung there helplessly. She hoped he couldn't make the branches wrap around her cause that would probably make her more trapped then she already was. Gravity took her and her right armpit felt hit as she landed on the branch that was now wedged between an ice wall and the ground. The two that had pierced through her had more agony as the gravity made them tear a small amount and she felt the blood soaking her clothes and leaving her body. he wasn't stupid though. Her right arm moved weekly and she slashed weekly at the branch that had her left arm paralyzed. It got stuck in the wood and the wood slowly started freezing but do to the wood being enchanted it wouldn't freeze much just slow the branches movements. Her right foot was ontop of the branch at that point and she tried to kick at it trying to move herself in some manner. She concentrated her ice around her wounds worrying about herself over her enemy. She froze the wounds so she would not bleed anymore and the ice would numb her of the pain a bit. She looked at her situation and pulled the right sword up again pulling a bit of the frozen part of in small shard and repeated the process untill she would freeze a small part like the ice was working as a hatchet through the branch. It was clear she wasn't giving up yet even though she hadn't yet gotten a single blow in on her opponent and it didn't look like she would before she would be completely incapable of moving.

 Ashika shouted into the microphone with what sounded like excitement, "The first BLOOD is drawn as the dirty elf pulled a sneak attack that worked. Laphiette looks helpless but how can she possibly take all that pain and keep going. It's not looking good for her right now, and I don't know about you but I would be screaming in pain and unable to do anything, but she seems pretty tough." It was obvious the announcer enjoyed violence more than anything in this sense they had probably chosen one of the best people to be an announcer. She probably couldn't fight herself if she had been called to it.

 The branches just sat there. It was like something was going on in the forest. In truth Rathe was strong but he couldn't see through walls. He was surprised he had hit her. He had been guessing on her general location. He jumped down from his position and walked out of the forest. He was going to increase his domain. That girl just somehow pissed him off. He hated fighting but she insisted on trying to freeze his trees. Winter was one of the banes of the forest. Ice could crumble a tree, and since she was ice and she insisted on trying to crumble his forest he would destroy her. He grabbed a single blue rose from the ground. He jogged to her side of the stadium and through it at the ground. It took root immediately and more blue roses began to pop up. "You will feel the wrath of the of the Nature King." With a mumble of an unknown language the roses combined together and formed a glove. It wasn't any ordinary glove. A single punch could transplant a seed of any plant. This would expand his kingdom and with a single battle he would take the field as his own. He still didn't like fighting so he would fight her indirectly and take the battle to a place where she would have no chances. The climate of a tropical rainforest, protected by magic to where i can't freeze.

Laphiette knew she was in a bad situation already. At first when she had been hit if someone where up close and looked into her eyes there would have been slight red in the background, this is how someones eyes appear when they've been struck deeply. She may have numbed and stopped the wounds from bleeding but now her left arm had fallen limp and so had her right leg. She couldn't move them, feel them, it was as if they had been torn off. The left shoulder blow was luckily not fatal, although the wound was in a dangerous location. As the elf would get closer he would hear her moaning in pain. She didn't want to show weakness but pain was pain. she finally broke the branch through her arm but she couldn't reach the one down near her leg very well. She had a few options but she wasn't feeling very good. She heard the elf nearer and tried to look at him to see what he was doing. He was somewhere behind her though. His words sounded jumbled, she couldn't tell if that washer or him actually speaking in that matter but she was answered when her eyesight began to give out. "F&**." she cursed under her breath. As she opened her mouth blood made a small stream down her lip. She knew she was already done. The real question was would he see that. She attempted to channel her pain into the magic and with it snapped the branches holding her up. She managed to fall but it was obvious that the fall was not a good thing either. She hit hard and in a slow manner rolled over untill she felt the cool ice wall next to her. Her left shoulder was bleeding again and as a result a trail of blood followed the ground where she had rolled. Of course the only one who could see this was either someone with something zooming in, watching the tv edition, or Rathe.
Using magic her strength and the ice wall she was able to stand and lean on the wall as her right leg was slung uselessly. Everything she saw was a dark red. It meant she had a concussion in the least, probably from the fall. She felt worthless and her heart began to fill with anger at herself for getting beaten so easily. She saw the elf now and her head was slightly slouched in a manner as if her body was incredibly tired now. The storm continued and it was slightly refreshing to her. She was unable to attack for the moment and her attention was caught by the blue flowers. She liked them.

The receptionist smiled and said, "The pits also has areas to train in. It's designed completely for fighters." She pointed to the door again just for reassurance.

Rathe was right in front of her. He blocked the view of the camera's and the announcer. He couldn't bring himself to strike her for the final blow. He leaned in close and whispered "If you give up now I wont be forced to kill you. I don't like to fight, but i had to use the glove. Your attacks piss me off. Your ice drives me crazy. Forfeit or I'll be forced to make sure you never use that ice again." The glove he had put on his hand was a dark green color and it had tiny vines running around the whole glove. The vines would occasionally move and turn in a never ending cycle.

Laphiette looked at him. She could see he was sincere. She opened her mouth to speak and gladly he was near because otherwise he probably wouldn't have heard her. "There's three ways to loose a match; Death, incapacition, or being outside of the ring for more than ten seconds. I'm only going to loose in one of two methods for I'm not going to ring out." She strained to move as if trying to show him something, "In case you couldn't tell..." Her eyes went hazy and she fell to her knees. "I'm bleeding.. t.o..... De." She didn't finish her sentance as she began wavering again her eyes going blank and then she fell face first onto the ground, her scimitar falling from her hand and bouncing a few inches away.

Ashika was watching in silent shock as Laphiette struggled in a manner that seemed like she was doomed. Her mouth began moving finally, "Laphiette has freed herself from the branches, but to what cost?, Rathe seems to be coaxing her, maybe he's casting a spell. Whatever it is... ooh she seems to have lost it she's falling.... ONE,... TWO,..." She began the countdown to when Laphiette would be out and considered incapacitated.

Aros slowly walked down into the pits but halfway down Pyrus tok over illuminateing the halls with his flames. "such a droll place it seems not much can be done in such a plce tsk tsk kochi must really be losing it." said Pyrus as he then found the fire training room and began practiceing.
