"Yes I did." She smiles then sees he pulled his tail away. "Hold on." She runs off a ways off and shakes herself dry, then comes back and lays back down on her back. "Sorry about that."

He chuckled as she shook herself off and returned, "It's fine. It's not something that lions tend to have to deal with, so how would you have known?"

She shrugs her shoulders and smiles. "I hope you didn't get wet. I don't mind really, just being considerate."

"No, I'm fine," he said with a shrug and a brief smile. As soon as his words ended, the smile faded, and he glanced up to the sky a moment. the sun was beginning to set, and soon it would begin to get cold.

Umicho follows his gaze and stretches a bit. "Night is approuching. Where will you go?" She looks over at him.

Red shrugged, "Perhaps back to my pride. Or perhaps I'll stay the night around here somewhere... Or perhaps I'll walk just a bit further out and find a secluded grove. It doesn't much matter to me."

"Would you like to stay around here? There's plenty of room and the placing is convenient for food and water." She smiles and looks around a bit.

Red shrugged, "Sure, if you don't mind a strange lion invading your territory for the night." He didn't want to seem like he was inviting himself...

"It's no bother. You can sleep wherever you would like. There are several places here that are comfortable and able to protect you from the rain." She smiles at the red lion, then stretches a bit, her legs a little sore from swimming.

Red glanced up at the sky, "I sure hope it doesn't rain tonight..." There were some slightly ominous clouds starting to boil about... He lived in the desert for more than one reason, and the lack of rain was certainly one of them.

"You can take shelter in the den I dug myself." She motions over to a good sized hole, not too big or too small. "It's big enough for two or three lions on the inside. And it is dry as a bone."

Red shrugged, "No, I don't want to intrude. I prefer to sleep outside anyway... Thank you for your offer, though." That was only partially true - he still did not trust her, and was not ready to surrender himself to sleeping in her den - it would leave him far too unprotected, and while he did not think she would try anything, he had no reason to think that she wouldn't, just has he had no reason to think that she would.

"I see..." She thought to herself that he probably doesn't trust her fully right now. She felt the same really, but she only meant to be kind. She shrugs and motions to different places that are protected from the weather. "I'm heading to bed. If you need anything, just ask ok?" She smiles and goes into her den.

Red moved under a cluster of low hanging, tightly woven branches and curled up, pulling his tail close, before slowly dozing off...

Once the morning sunlight shines into her den, she stretches and climbs out, yawning softly. She looks over at the red teen and smiles softly, then goes to get a drink of water.
