Raven made no attempt to watch Ash as he encircled her. He was not her top priority at the moment at hand. The heat was familiar of her, and she could tell from the calculating look she had seen on his face that he had guessed of her hybrid lineage. Her story was indeed a long one, perhaps she could tell it one day.
She could not see the water, but she sensed it all around her. Within the very air, within the fountain, and perhaps even the very walls themselves with their porous material held small traces of water. Even as she reflected on it, she could feel it manifesting outside the pillar of fire. PUlling it forward and to her cause, she imagined the structure of the pillar, feeling the conglomerate of water forming at her simple calling.
It would begin to encircle keeping away from the reach of the pillar of fire. Every last drop counted, and Raven knew she would not stoop so low as to use her knowledge of fire against the Elementalist; she was here to demonstrate how much she knew against it, not with it. She smiled faintly, even in the midst of a lash of fire upon her left arm; Master Euan was no fool, and she was thankful to have such an intelligent man to train with.
The water molecules began to slow, moving in over the top of the pillar where the flame was most weak. She knew that the very heart where she stood would be the hottest part. Like a smothering hand, the Ice began to descend, continuing it's freezing as it moved to close off the Oxygen to the giant flamming pillar. Raven felt the drops of water from the melting ice, until all that was left encased only her petite form. Even as she stood there, the ice was melting rapidly.
The palm of her hand out, Raven forcefully thrust her palm against the weakest parts of the ice, the butt of her Naginata crushing other weaker parts into shards of ice. As the water coated the last of the ice bits, she thrust them outwards in a full 360 degree, the sharp pieces of ice shooting out in each direction. Ash would have to be swift in order to dodge the pieces of ice. Even as the ice barrier flew out the full circle, Raven extended the shaft of the Naginata outwards into the area of the circle, knowing that if Ash were moving as fast as he were, there would come a time in which he would meet the blade, and perhaps even the shaft.
She knew better than to let the plumes of smoke to fool her, and Raven shifted her concentration away from it. Having learned to swim effficiently, she was more than accustomed to being able to hold her breath for long periods of time. The lids of her eyes slid shut to avoid the dull stinging sensation. It was up to Ash to decide what his next move was, though she had made it easy enough to avoid both moves she directed for him.
