"It's the smell," Vergil murmured, looking away. He couldn't help it ... he was half demon after all.
"Besides," he added, running his fingers through his hair to make sure that it was still in place, "they're getting out of control. We need to get rid of them before they kill everyone."
He finished off his coke and crunched the can in one hand, then tossed it into a garbage bin.

Dante smiled and laughed, "Well it is good to see you seem to have found a heart inside your body somewhere." he laughed a bit and watched his brother.
He then shrugged and turned to walk towards the back door, "Just don't get carried away big brother." He waved a hand and pulled his guns from his hips and as he jumped threw the window firing his guns.

Vergil chuckled softly as his brother jumped out the window, then turned and headed towards the front door at a calm pace, one hand smoothing out his hair once more.
"Always in a hurry, brother," he murmured, putting one hand on the hilt of his sword. He ran his fingers along the cloth of the handle almost in a caress, looking up at the door in front of him.
"And here we go," he deadpanned. And, calm and collected, he opened the door and stepped outside.

Dante had to admit something about fighting and killing these mindless...or at least hive minded creatures really excited him. He smiled as he landed and six creatures fell at his feet. He slipped the guns back into thier holsters and spinning around pulled his broad sword from his back and arching it around him slicing two creatures across the gut before a creatures on the roof launched a pike downward which nailed Dante threw the calf and pinned the one leg to the ground.
This only brought a smile to his face as he shifted the leg pulling the spike from the ground and using it to spear the face of another creature as he kneed it in the forehead.

Vergil kept his eyes on the creatures that surrounded him as he walked out into their midst, and for the moment they were doing the same with him: watching him without making any moves. But as he grew further away from the building he had just left, they closed in behind him, closing off any way out for him. The circle around him continued to grow smaller, and finally, as they grew close enough that they could almost touch him, they began to show their teeth and claws and make loud noises in an attempt to frighten him.
Vergil was nonplussed. He held his scabbard with one hand and braced his feet against the ground: and then in a single fluid movement he whipped his sword from its sheath and pulled it in a wide circle, completely decimating every creature within his reach.

Dante laughed and seeing an old jute box he walked over, "Now we can't have some fun without some kicking music." he banged on it hard and smiled as it started to play and up beat song. He gave a soft whoop and started to almost dance as he started to take on what could, if one looked hard enough take for a female.
"Hows it going brother you still alive?"

The creatures pressed closer, but Vergil's speed with his sword was far too great for them: it was barely a blur as the creatures fell beneath his blade, blood flying everywhere and painting a grotesque image of the carnage he was leaving around him.
Suddenly he heard music, and a faint smile played about the corners of his lips. Dante. Who else would take the time to find some music while he was slaughtering mindless creatures?
"Everything is fine, brother," he called back, hearing Dante's question in the darkness. "You sound like you're having fun."

Dante nods, "Oh yeah but babes started to show up....its time for a little fun!" he called out and his continued to slice and dice every now and then flipping and shooting at the same time.
He new that the crowd was starting to thin out and soon enough there woud be no more to kill. For now at least.

Vergil sliced through a pair of monsters that had tried to attack him from behind, then whirled and diced a group that had rushed him while his back was turned.
"Strange," he remarked dryly, "but I do recall there being more of them usually."
He hadn't even broken a sweat, and they were nearly gone.

Dante laughed, "Well we both killed some one the way here..." He looked around as he moved and was embraced by a female that tired to tear into her neck but he sliced her threw the middle before she she could and she felt to either side of him.
"I guess we will have to go and look for a new place to clean out."

Vergil swung his blade in an arc too fast for the eye to follow, and a circle of demons fell to the ground, dead.
"Indeed, brother," he agreed, his tone almost bored as he halved the last remaining demon. "This was the least challenging they have ever been for me."
He looked around to make sure there were no more, then sheathed his blade and returned to his brother's side.

Dante folded his harms across his chest having slid the blade across his back. He looked at his brother, "What you want me to hold your hand or something big bro?" He looked at his twin. He sighed and wondered what they should do now. Would Vergil really want to continue with him.
"Well what way are you going?"

Vergil ignored his brother's comment and ran his fingers through his hair, making sure it was all in place.
"I go where the wind takes me," he murmured in reply, "unless there is somewhere that I must go. And you, brother? Which way will you be heading? Perhaps our paths could lie together for a while."

Dante folded his hands behind his head and rolled his eyes, "Oh yes maybe the wind lays the same way." he said in a slightly mocking tone. He gave a stretch and nods, "I hear there is another small village that is over run by demons....I hear there are still some survivors too."

Vergil couldn't help but smile at his brother's teasing. At times it seemed that he couldn't be serious if his life depended on it. Even with monsters at his throat, he was always making jokes.
"Then perhaps we should investigate," he nodded. Or see if the survivors are worth saving. There are humans that aren't, after all."
