Mu-lin gets back up startled "Rampel,I don't want to .. but.. I ... I can't ... mama told me not to ... You would be, I just, I just can't love anyone." she says back to sniffling. She cuddles to Rampel's chest,"I love you so much. I just want you to be mine." she says with a big sigh right from her heart.
Ying finds Yang and they have a big fight ending in Ying calling it even with a notch in Yang's ear. They they hunt there father thinking of plans, evil plans.

Rampel closed his eyes, pained by her words. She just couldn't understand?!
He wanted to accept what she was saying, yes she loved him, and he shared her feelings. But they would grow up and become adults. And they'd both find others. Then there love would fall away, it was a harsh truth, but that was what reality was like. Though Rampel stayed quiet as Mu-lin confessed time after time, because he knew that she had to get it off of her chest. Rampel held her in his arms as she cried, and couldn't help but feel like a failure as a older brother. It was his job to protect her, yet time and time again they'd find themselves like this. With her sobbing her eyes out, and him broken, yet comforting. She deserved a better older brother. One that could protect her from everything, especially his own feelings for her.
Rampel could not help but to choke in shock when she confessed that she wanted him to be her's? Did she not know how that could be taken? Rampel controlled himself with little effort. It was just a slip of the tongue from her. She probably didn't even notice what she had just said.
"Mu-lin," Rampel whispered, resting his head on top of her's.
Akemi wakes up, feeling a sense of foreboding. He gets up from bed, sleepily, and walks across the room to shut and lock the door. He jumps back into bed, falling asleep before his head even hit the pillows.

Mu-lin then just let go. She is only safe with Rampel. He watches over her and takes care of her, even when she can't do anything for herself. He has given her everything she wants or needs. It is only fair to warn him. To let him know why her heart is breaking. Why she can never be happy. SHe indulges in being misery. "I hate every thing, I hate mom, I hate Sofiel. I don't want to be here. Why does life suck so much. I don't want him. I don't want to be engaged. I just want you. I don't want anything else. Take me away, I hate here." she sobs out her body shaking as she devolves into Rampel's chest her tears soaking. She feels better as she spews out what she has been feeling. But she knows nothing like that could ever happen she then cries because nothing could ever change and Rampel is just going to leave her. She just cries.
Ying and Yang are about to go in with handfulls of rice when Akemi closes the door. Yang mutters,"Damn, old man. He is getting better with age." Ying nods,"We will have to find another way in. They go stalk around the room.

Rampel felt his whole body tense up with Mu-lins confession. What was all of this? His brain could hardly take it all in. He almost pierced his bottom lip with his canines from biting down so hard. He could taste the blood from the shallow puncture wounds, but he hardly felt the physical pain over the pain that was in his heart.
'Mother? Engaged?' Rampel could hardly get any of his thoughts straight. What was Mu-lin talking about? She couldn't be engaged! Mother would never do such a cruel thing, would she? Rampel felt a really tight feeling in his chest, and remembered to breath. He wrapped his arms further around Mu-lin, bringing her as close to himself that was physically possible. He kissed his sister on her forehead, ignoring the tears that were now flowing freely down his cheeks and onto her soft maroon mane.
"H...Hush, Mu-lin" His throat felt tight, and dry. He tried clearing it, though that only created a sore feeling. Rampel breathed in deeply, trying to gain some control over his emotions. Mu-lin was the one in trouble. She had every right to cry, and yet here he was, bawling his eyes out along with her. The natural need to protect her overcame him. "You want to leave, Mu-lin?" Rampel asked softly into her mane. Afraid that if he spoke too loud, someone might hear. Not that it would really matter. No one would be able to catch him if he ran.
Akemi snorts in his sleep and scratches his stomach.

Mu-lin holds on to Rampel like it is her last shred of sanity. She sobs her heart out but is shocked at what Rampel says," You know I can't, it would break Mama and everyone else. I dunno wanna be the bad one in the family. I swear I was gunna tell you, but mama said I shouldn't, she said it would hurt. I don't wanna hurt you, I'm sorry Rampel, but, *hic* but we were fighting anyways so, so. I am so sorry. Don't hate me, I love you Rampel, I don wan you to gooooo." she blubbers this all out her normal perfect speech devolving to wannas, and dunno's. "Mama said, mama said no, and I did anyways, I'm so sorryyyy. Are you sad, I dun wanna make you sad. Mama said, mama said." she then gets on a crying cycle again. She holds on to Rampel her last shred of sanity.
Yang calls Ying over,"I found something! I think it is a hole, it is tiny though." Ying examines it, "This is all we can find??? What the hell Mom this isn't a bomb shelter." she pouts and sees if she can fit.

Rampel just shakes his head and sighs. He brings Mu-lin closer to his chest and closes his eyes. "Lets just go to sleep, Mu-lin." They could deal with this together. Hopefully by then, everything will have set in. Sofiel's leaving, Xai's departure, and Mu-lin's arranged marriage. It wasn't going to be a uneventful morning. Rampel slowly drifted off to sleep to the rhythm of his and Mu-lin's hearts.
