((Angel, do you know that War and Chaska are on the southern fencline while your charachters are on the East? Thats where the summer stables are, also. And Seth and David are in the cow pasture which is a few feet from the horse's pasture and connected to it, cut off by two gates))

Moon snorted and stood completely still, her mane and tail blowing in the soft breeze. She then pivoted and took off galloping in the direction opposite the town again and made her way to the waterhole.

David, have you got this? Maybe John could help if you need it, but I've got to get going..Chance up past a few miles the town sent me a letter the other day. He's got a wiry little mare he wants me to take a look at..Speaking of horses..Have you any idea of what happened to John's old horse? He's been killed by another horse and he's sure Bullet dun it but he aint seen that wily little stallion for quite some time..Shoot him if ya see 'im.
*Seth stood and once again got War ready for a ride.
I'll probly not be back till tommarra morning, stay the night at the inn near his house.
*He mounted, waved goodbye and took off. Chance's house was nearly 20 miles from town.*

Chaska snorted in protest as she watched War go. She wanted to play and with the stallion gone she had few options. She paced the fence a few times and turned her attention to an older bigger horse, nipping at the work horse. He ignored her for awhile untill she reared and bit at him. He backed from her snorting. She chased after him for a little before becoming bored again. She walked over to the fence and reached for David, pulling at his shirt when he got near.

Moon reached the little waterhole only to find the mare, foal, and the stallion. She pinned her ears back, watching the three of them as she took a long drink.
((I'm going on a writer's block, I'm running out of things to have Moon do. AH! ))

((you'll think of something..I could try to shake things up.))
*Bullet looked up at the approaching mare. He flicked his tail like that of a large, heavy maned lion. Watching over his pride. He quickly stood, nearly leaping from the ground and silently watched the white mare to see what she would do. When after a few seconds he suddenly neighed loudly and reared. Then stood still again, flicking his ears, tilting his head to see his mare watch them with much attentive alertness, her foal, too. He snorted as he saw this foal and then walked leisurly to the white mare. Walking to her side, rather than head-on. As he reached her he sniffed her shoulder a bit, then her withers and shot his head up, looking to the road. The flashy arabian stallion galloped by with a man on his back.*

"Chaska knock it off I'm trying to work." David shooed the mare away from him and the fence, holding his tools out towards her.
Chaska snorted and backed away from the fence. She knew better than to go after him while he was holding such tools. She swivled and bolted to the otherside of the fence, neighing. She reached her head over the fence and played with the gait, pawing at it. She grabbed at the latch with her teeth, covering the metal in drool. Tossing her head she neighed again, not liking being kept with older work horses.

Jane smiled softly at Saphire. "Sorry girl. Maybe not today.." Jane replied softly starting to work on the liver chestnut's lower back.
Saphire didn't seem to understand why Jane wasn't taking her out for a ride NOW. Saphire tossed her head, making the chain crossties make ratling sounds.

Moon whirled around and snapped at the stallion's face, squealing in anger. "Back off..." She warned. She lowered her head to take another drink, watching him out of the corner of her eye. She heard the approaching hoofbeats and her head shot up as well. She snorted, wanting to leave that instant...

*Sundown was quickly approaching and morning would soon follow. Seth was well into the other countrside, a mountainus area. He had tied War to a tree outside Chance's house and had had just laid his eyes upon the oddest looking horse he had ever seen.*
Chance, what the hell is that? It nearly looks like a skeleton! Arent you feeding it?!
Trust me, Seth this is how this little mare should look. She came from an exotic animal dealer I met on my last trip. The woman said that this was a breed called Akhal Teke..I thought it would make a nice gift for my wife but she really doesnt want a horse..Apparently she never liked the beasts...So what do you say? How about fifteen dollars?
Fifteen!? Chance..Why so high? This horse don't look of value over Five.
She's trained. She's friendly and never causes trouble..She's reliable and gorgeous..Everyone will want to see her, there aint another horse like her in all of America, I promise you. I'm cutting you a good deal, my friend. This particular breed of horse has great stamina, can withstand very harsh and extreme temperatures, they wean young and are the ideal riding horse when your treking a good thousand miles..They arent very strong but boy are they hardy..This horse wont ever get sick, I guerantee it..What do you say?
Well I dunno, Chance..Fifteen dollars is an awful lot of money and Jane needs her stomach medicine and the doctor aint cheap..Nor is the farm.
But you still got all that insurance money..Look, this horse is gonna be worth it when your out on a long journey and War gets tired and there aint nowhere to stay..They dont eat much and dont require alot of care..Their mane and tail are thin so they dont need much washing or brushing..Their coats and skin are thin, too..She'll be the best investment you ever made.
*Seth thought for a good long time..He looked the mare over, inspected every inch of her body. Rode her around the pasture several times, even introduced her to War and she instantly took a liking to him. After much convincing, they finally settled on ten dollars and he stayed there for the night.*

Night was fast approaching and Moon's heart filled with joy. She eyed the stallion dangerously once more, then turned and tore of the way she had come again. She wanted to explore the town tonight and she needed to get there. It was twilight by the time she reached the shady trees she had been hiding in earlier that day. She contented to waiting until it was really dark before venturing into the small town.

Jane stood in the bathroom, bent over the toilet bowl, and throwing up. After Jane thought it was done, she got up and washed her face and brushed her teeth. Opening the medicine cabint, she took out her medicen and swalloed the lequid down. Closing it, she stared at herself in the mirrior.
