MegaTherion777 Gravechylde MegaTherion777 Gravechylde MegaTherion777 grave - no. it's a figure of speech meaning that the loved one provides something that was missing from one's life, namely, affection. I've always heard it as like: A talkative person completes a quiet one. A calm person completes someone who is angry a lot. A laidback person completes a workaholic. etc never heard that. ever. sounds like yin-yang concept applied to relationships though. but the way i've always heard was when one person's in love, s/he says the other completes him/her, meaning that the lover brings missing, desirable elements into his/her life - joy, affection, peace, etc I didn't mean that those lines were figures of speech, just used those as examples. yeah my point was i've never heard it used in the way you have. i've always heard it in the way i've described I see.
