Lyre smoothed her hair down after shaking herself out like she'd been dunked into a pool of water.

"So not a fan of flying. At least let me shift next time, it's chilly without fur!" She put her hands on her hips in mock anger. Her dress hadn't helped her out much either... but no matter, she matched the Halloween theme, although she did slightly regret not switching from heels to boots. She wrapped her arm around his, still shaking her head.

Alihi sighed lightly. Parties were never her thing, especially something of this scale.
Besides, this dress...! She slowly got her way into the crowd, looking for someone, anyone to talk to.

It was then the tactician noticed Sue.
"Sue!" Carefully, she made her way over to where Sue and Tacitus were.
She looks... different.

"Good evening, my lady," Soren murmured in return to The Mistress. He restrained any changes in expression and tried to tie his gloom to his own pocket presence. "Hello, Melethia," he added as he received a hug.

A smile couldn't help but touch upon the morph's lips as she observed the partiers. For the time being all was well and nothing seemed amiss. Alcyone was slightly on edge though sensing the presence of many of the resistance that had the dragon blood running in their veins. Their overwhelming aura's made her feel threatened despite the atmosphere.

Changing the direction of her gaze, she saw that Lord Roy was approaching her. She made no move to get up, only stayed where she was and watched to see if he would in fact join her.

"Kekeke...this is awesome!"

Adele skipped around the party, being her usual quirky self but still keeping an eye out. She was prone to rashness, but she wasn't stupid. Her frame felt unusually light without the massive axe she was so accustomed to carrying. She felt almost naked without it, but the Lady had said no weapons, and she wasn't going to defy that.

All the gatherers seemed to be enjoying the recently-started party. Adele wasn't much for parties, herself; crowds always bugged her. So Adele kept her distance a bit, just happily skipping as she would stop by any given person occasionally to make some inane comment on his or her costume. She, herself, was unadorned, costumes seemed stupid and she just wasn't going to wear one.

As she skipped, she wasn't the most aware. So it was quite a bit of a jolt when she bumped into a man, falling onto her butt on the ground. As she looked up at him, that weird man who'd recently joined with the weird mask, she was irate.

"Wha....hey, watch where you're goin'!"

A black figure rushed through one of the entrances. The guards seemed alarmed at the sudden entrance, but when the image cleared to a black wolf without any hostile intent, they calmed and resumed their positions. Ed, deciding to attend to party in her wolf form, barked happily at some familiar company and trotted around.

She watched, realizing she just wasn't going to get to talk to Soren alone. "Or maybe... I will go get some punch." She turned and walked back toward the punch bowl.

Soren was silent. Disoriented from being addressed by two people at once, he could only glance between the two helplessly. He did not know whether to return the hug or take up the offer of punch or what. He was silent, a rag doll to be ripped in two. The signs of despair dawned on his pale face.
