Ms.Tofu He's a prankster. Loki's cool. for the most part though his pranks go to far and cause people harm or even death and in the case of his own misfortune his pregnancy as a horse XD

Loki is no worse than the other Aesir he played pranks on.
Hell, Odin and his two siblings killed their own father. The Giant Ymir, for no reason. But does anyone ever mention that when they try labeling Norse gods as "bad" or "good"? No.
ALL of Loki's pranks and tricks were lessons to humble the rather arrogant Aesir or to help them. All of them, not just Loki, were guilty of betraying or insulting one another or backing out of agreements/deals.
Loki had done so much for them. In the beginning his tricks were humorous jests. As they grew to bold and arrogant, his pranks became more malignant. He was a necessity to counter-act the direction they were headed. Hell, it was Loki who even helped with the success of the Truce between Aesir and Vanir. But yet he was often under appreciated. In the end, he recieved his final betrayel. As did his eldest son. And his other four children followed behind both at Ragnorak.
So no. While I do view Loki as a trouble maker, I dont see him in any way as bad.
(Yes, Loki had *5* children, not three. Three by Angurboda, and two by Glut (translates to Glow)... Its rarely mentioned he had two wives at different points.)

Hero Of Three Kingdoms Harlysama I don't have anything to say about Loki. That's an interesting character who has several personalities and he make the stories more interesting. besides without him we wouldn't have everybodies favorite 8-legged horse Your completely entranced by the birth of Sleipnir aren't you? xd And Loki isnt the only one to shape shift and change his identity repeatedly. Odin did as well. As did Iormorgund and many others. Thats why Odin has more kennings than any other of the Norse deities.

devildestinyman Do you know Loki in the comics??? No, but I want to read the Valkyrie Profile manga so badly. crying Why won't they release it in the U.S.? I don't even care if it's in Japanese!
