"Ian, she is going into convulsions. I need you to talk to her and tell her that everything is okay since your her friend. She appears to be very afraid," Madison said to him.
The salts did the trick but something else was hurting Emerwyn and Madison was oblivious to what that might be.

Ian nodded instinctually almost paralyzed. Convulsions, those were bad weren't they? "Emerw-" his voice broke, clearing his throat he tried again, forcing his voice past the lump that had gathered there. "Emerwyn, please do not be afeared. Do not be scared of me."
Ian had no clue what was wrong with her, he had no experience dealing with anything of that sort and for all he knew, she was dying. "There is nothing to harm thee right now."

Emerwyn continued to tremble, her voice making sporatic, strangled sounds. Ian spoke again; she screamed, and threw herself onto the ground, landing on her face. Her body curled up on itself involuntarily, and her trembling hands clutched at her hair, though they could not grip. "NO!" she managed to scream. It was slurred, like the voice of one who was deaf. She felt her breath tightening. The fall had made her breath go even quicker than it had been. She had to start breathing properly... and fast.

Not to interrupt any existing RP... Christmas morning when you wake up you find an Ipod there. It is a Magenta colored one and has music approiate to what Moreau knows about your tastes.
Yours in particular also has a set of headphones that have a built in volume bar and can go MUCH louder than one would normally need.

((I'm posting the latest in the roleplay, which was done via AIM chat)) Doctor Madison Moreau "Oh my! She stopped breathing..Ian, does she have asthma? I think I better put some vapor rub on her chest to clear her airways," Madison cried out, with her voice trembling. This girl seemed to keep getting worse and the young doctor tried to figure out what to do next. She wasn't used to being under so much stress. After all, she was a psychiatrist by trade. Ian Campbell "I don't know! I don't know much about her." Ian was breathing heavily trying to keep himself from getting too stressed. He grimaced and wiped at the moisture that built in his eyes with a hairy arm. "Anything I can do?" His voice was rushed and frantic. Emerwyn Emerwyn was vaguely aware of their speech. She tried to take in what was happening from her uncomfortable position on the floor, but she had pressing matters to attend to. She closed her eyes, and tried taking slow, deep breaths. She saw Ian's face pressed on her eyelids. It was full of concern, and compassion. Then, it contorted into a malicious grimace that wasn't even his face anymore. It bore absolutely no semblance. That's because it wasn't him. Ian wasn't evil!!! But.... could she wholly convince herself of that?? Maybe, if she could, she could save herself... Doctor Madison Moreau Madison picked up the bottle of vapor rub and slowly unbuttoned Emerwyn's blouse to reveal to top of her chest. She rubbed the warm gelly over her heart in the hopes that it would clear her up. Madison wasn't 100% sure why the girl had started breathing badly but this couldn't hurt. She didn't want to resort to a trachialotomy. Emerwyn's brain might become damaged if she didn't start breathing correctly soon. Complex organs needed as much oxygen as possible and would constrew if their supply was cut off. Ian Campbell Ian stepped back to let Madison help. Likely he would just get in the way so instead he paced sparing a glance every few seconds towards Emerwyn in the hopes that she was looking better, unaware that he was the root of the problem. Emerwyn Emerwyn's thoughts swirled, and burst out in a gentle wave when the vapor rub was rubbed into her chest. Though it did not do much for her, physically, as it would serve to clear her breathing, it cleared her head, and she realized just how trivial a thing she was risking her life over. With one cough of clear phlegm, Emerwyn's breathing started to regulate again, slowly, and with difficulty.

((continuation from last post, for finality))
In fact, it was not long at all before Emerwyn's breathing became almost completely regular, and with one last clump of pink phlegm, Emerwyn was even able to stand.

A message came in from Moreau. As Madison's phone started flashing and vibrating.
The text message said that she was needed in the labs immedietly. With Emerwyn alright there was no reason she shouldn't go.

Ian released his breath when Emerwyn appeared to be standing without a hitch. "Let us go," he said with a small relieved smile. "Thou must want to go home now." He walked towards the door and frowned, he would leave with Emerwyn as it would take him longer to open the door than if she did it.

Emeryn was despondent. She averted her glance from Ian, not saying anything. She was afraid to. She slowly walked toward the door, opening it for the both of them.
Willing herself to give not even a backward glance, she continued to walk towards her own duplex, praying that Ian would understand.

Ian watched as she opened the door without looking at him. Hefigured that she needed her time by herself and he walked out the door a little bit behind shutting it behind him. As he started the trek back to his duples, his shoulders coudn't help but droop a little even though he understood that Emerwyn needed to be alone.
