Syd nodded, pulling back and grinning widely, his eyes alight with joy, "Yeah, really." He said, kissing Calum happily.

Calum's tail glided and bobbed along the surface of the water as it swished in happiness. Joy and love washed through him in a great wave, washing away all the nervouseness and leaving behind pure bliss as he returned the kiss.

Syd grinned as he pulled away, kissing Calum's cheek and nuzzling it happily, his tail moving to bob along next to Calum's. He sighed, seeking out his love's hand and grabbing it, entwining their fingers together as his tail wrapped itself around Calum's.

Calum squeezed Syd's hand as his blonde tail and his love's black tail wound together. He moved to place delighted nips and nibbles along Syd's neck. Not able to come up with words to espress how happy he was.

Syd tilted his head, shuddering happily, his gaze fixing on the ring delightedly, "It's so beautiful, love..." He muttered, "Not...not like you, though, love. You're gorgeous...everything is gorgeous." He nuzzled Calum affectionatly, "Ah...I'm talking like I'm stoned...I'm sprry love...I'm not stoned...I should probaly stop talking..." He sighed, looking over to Calum for a moment, "I must say, I'm surprised..."

Calum smiled in amusement as Syd talked, his cheeks flushed. Truth be told, he could listen to Syd talk on about random things for hours. It was the accent, just to sexy for him to resist. His ears perked as he asked, "Surprised about what?"

"About you proposing..." He muttered, looking into the water, "For years I'd thought I'd never get married, I never even thought I'd find someone like you..." He smiled sheepishly, looking back up at Calum. "Guess I was proved wrong."

"Happy to prove you wrong then," murmured Calum, he kissed the corner of Syd's lips. "I never thought I would find anyone that I would want to marry. But you...you are different from everyone else."
He leaned forward till he rested his foregead against Syd's. "Your are special."

Syd smiled, nuzzling Calum and kissing his nose, "You're special too, love." He wrapped his arms around Calum's waist, his forehead resting against Calum's for a moment, before kissing his cheek, all the way down to his neck.

Calum shivered, his head tilting to give Syd more access to it. His arm that rested around Syd's waist tightened it's hold as he looked up towards the sky. "Only to you Syd, though I would have it no other way."

Syd smiled, nibbling at Calum's neck and sucking on it alittle, content just to hear him speak. For a moment, he pulled away to speak. "Love...I'm sure you're special to someone else..." He muttered before continuing.

Protests were on the tip of his tongue, but he chose not to voice them. He did not want Syd to stop with his attentions. So he just stood there staring up at the sky, reveling in the feeling Syd's lips against his neck and the knowledge that one day, he and Syd would be married.

Syd pulled away from Calum's neck, staring at the small hicky he'd made before licking it, kissing his way back up to Calum's lips.

A thought sparked in Calum's head as Syd kissed him. He snorted and pulled back. "Soo, which one of us is the wife?"

Smirking, Syd looked Calum over. "You." He said simply, in a joking manner, waiting for a few moments to add on. "No...really...if you want to get technical...it'd be me since you were the one that proposed, but...I don't really beleive in gender roles..."
