Bella takes off in a a dead run she didn't know if they could out run it but she was going to try, seeing the path turn to the right, she follows hoping that soon they would see the ocean before whatever was not there got them, she turns to make sure that he was beside her.
Finally seeing the path and the forest starting to to thin out, keeps runing until she hits sand that the path was become in she couldn't tell if the thing following them was still there, but she could still feel it, and its aura, once farther out they could see sandbanks ahead of them.
Not looking back she runs up the closest one and she then finally slows down and stops, looking back she hoped that him and still with her, she blinks and looks back to the path and sees a clawed paw that she had never seen before, and more growling as the paw retreated to the shadows.

Running with all his might he attempted to stay close to her, determined that if it did catch them he would be the one to be caught to allow her time to escape, yet as his hooves dug powerfully into the sandy beach he knew that had made it. Escaping the trees was one challenge they had successfully overcome yet it was not obvious when she would be allowed to return, or if she ever would. As he thought of that he remembered her words about the flower garden, he only hoped that she would know an alternative route back. A small niggle nagged the back of his mind as he allowed it to wonder what the creature or spirit had been of and that was when he decided, he would escort her home when the time came.
Catching up to her he slowed his pace, his hooves sending a spray of sand to the area surrounding him with each step until it slowed to a gentle walk, heart still racing he smiled at her, there was no need to worry her further, not yet anyway. “Seems we made it” his words spoke with a hidden surprise as he allowed his attention to drift to the Ocean, it looked magnificent with the reflection of the Moon and the Stars glistening and dancing on its mighty waves. The Ocean would always be special to him, and as he watched the mesmerizing waves he remembered his promise and duty towards it. Running his oath through his mind he stood completely still, I will protect you with my life, the waves and creatures shall not be harmed while I still have breath in my lungs, this is my calling, my duty and my honour. To serve and protect until my day is done. Those words were scared to him.

" yes, for that I'm glad, for what that was it was evil, the aura was nothing I have ever felt before." she nods looking him over then herself, closing her eyes, feeling for that thing senses it close by at the edge of the woods waiting, opening her yes shelooks at the ocean she she watches the waves and smells the ocean she turns her head back at him , then she bows her head to the ocean in greeting, hoping that the spirits here would let her stay as long as she needed too.
She smiles at the welcoming the spirits of the ocean gave her, they knew that she was afaid of the woods right now and would give her comfort, until she was ready to head back home. " it's so beautful to see the ocean like this, I see why, it is special to you."

Although he did not recall expressing his connection with the Ocean he figured it had been obvious to her, perhaps it had been written in his body language, or laces in his voice as he spoke each purposeful word. Smiling he nodded, he wasn’t sure anyone could see what he saw and felt from the Ocean yet those who tried did at least earn a little of his respect, it was the most important thing to him, his life. It consumed his thoughts eighty percent of the time.
"Beauty," he spoke, his eyes watching the shimmering waves that floated towards them before trickling back into the deep darkness from the depths behind them. The retraction was always so mesmerising and he had known many people being enticed into attempting to join the waves as the danced back and forth. Continuing his sentence he allowed his eyes to watch, his voice slightly lazy now, "is in the eye of the beholder."

Bella looks at him as he speaks, was that him saying that she was beautful or just to state a fact she didn't know, but she was betting that it was a fact that he wasn't trying to flirt, she smiles at him and nods " yes it is."
She watches the waves rolling on to shore, she loved the ocean it, there were so many wonders, she knew that many animals lived in the sea, she could feel them.
Still smiling she looks at him " back there you started to answar my question by then, that thing showed up and you got to finsh what you were saying, I would very much like to know." She again hoped that wasn't bothering him

Maion looked towards Bella, she seemed to be a gentle creature, her hair caught by the breeze reminded him of the waves on the Oceans mighty surface. Yet as he continued to watch her he felt himself forgetting all of the worries and questions that had gone before, the darkness in the forest, the scent of the forest had abandoned him as he took in her features, the shone magnificently in the shimmering Moonlight. Shaking his mane gently he attempted to shake away such thoughts, they where deemed inappropriate, especially on a first meeting, perhaps he had stayed too long already.
The waves washed the pebbled on the beach, knocking them around as if they where weightless feathers swaying in the wind. The ocean had one advantage of him, it had already found its place in the world, its longing and calling as it danced under the Moon, washing away the sorrows of the land, consuming them into the darkness below its mighty depths, yet he wanted more, to know his place, his calling, to find the one he could love and protect above all others, that was his hearts secret desire.
Yet as she spoke to him he mind grew blank, what had he said, the adrenaline was only just dying down with in, his heart still raced with a soft regularity. “I am sorry,” Maion lowered his head in shame, how could he allow himself to forget such details, he was foolish, a foolish young Angeni who needed to become hardened by the lessons of life, “please refresh my memory.”

she watches him, blinking she smiles sweetly "" What is your greatest dream?" she looks back at the ocean, then back at him he was handsome to her, it warmed her heart to be with him, even thos she knew that she shouldn't feel this way towards him, it was to soon and she didn't know know or why she felt this way towards him, it was scary and intresting to her all at once.
Looking up she sees the moon slowly starting to set, it was late she smiles and yawns, never had she been up so late.

Maion smiled, thinking about his greatest desire, “love” he turned to watched the waves crash against the rocks, it power beaming with energy with every strike, soft yet terrifying, just like the concept of love. As he watched he continued, “but now that feels like its only a distant dream.”
As she yawned he realised the late hour at which he had kept her, unlike himself she was evidently a day-walker, and although there was nothing wrong with them he felt somehow disconnected, the day was beautiful but his passions resided in the night. “I will take you home.” Yet as he spoke those words he realised it was easier said than done, lowering his head he sniffed the ground and the air, nothing smelt strange yet he suspected a spirit did not leave a scent. “Is there another way to the garden? Other than the forest?”

She smiles at his answar, it wasn't surpising that it would be love " I know sometimes it may seem like it, but who knows you could meet someone, and love could grow between the two of you, the best thing is to never give up hope. Someday I could see you deeply in love with someone, even a lifemate and family, as for myself it will never happen I don't beleive, it is tough to hold on to what little hope I have, each month, it seems for unlikely for me to ever love anyone." she sighs and smiles at him.
she looks at him " Okie." she looks around spotting the tide pools, looking a little far she spots a path that lead them to another path that came out somewhere near her garden home. " See that path over there by the tide pools, it leads to my home."

Her words saddened him a little; no one should ever feel that they could not love. He had only felt it to be a distant dream because of his duties, he was never able to stop and think about the world around him, about those closest to him until they had disappeared, and distant memories could not return their love even if they would have been willing to at the time. He grunted before shaking his head so that his hair fell out of his eyes. He knew he would only fall madly in love once, and when he did it would be for life or not at all. A life mate was all he desired, just one person to and be loved in return. The words of his Mother returned to him, she believed that Angeni should only mate with other Angeni, to form a pure race, yet there was something disturbing about that. How did love know to be so selective on breeds, or did it mean he would have to settle for second best. Once again he suppressed these thoughts. They disturbed him.
As she pointed the way to her home he smiled and began walking, with each step he felt he needed to say something, some attempt at comforting her, he knew she would find love when she least expected it. “You are pretty,” he began, unsure how she would react to such words, “I know you will find you ’one’ one day.” He paused for a moment and looked to the horizon, the sky seemed to melt gently into it, he found it delightful to observe. “Patience.”
He continued walking, it seemed he had done a lot of that today, his wings twitched slightly on his back as he adjusted them so that their weight was evenly distributed. He was sure he would feel the wind beneath his feathers again soon, his body was almost craving it, longing to feel the freedom, his one small escape from his duties as protector and guardian of the Ocean.

Bella feels his saddness to her words, it was intresting that she was how opened she was around him, why was she like this talking with her heart like the sprirts were guilding her to talk so openedly to him, it was intresting, like he really wanted to know what she thought of things.
She blushes at his his words, feeling the comfort that he was trying to give, it was nice that he could and was trying to cheer her up she listens to his next words, she smiles sweetly at him " you are so sweet, thank you for cheering me up, you are right you know, my grand said that I'm impatience, I just need to learn to slow down and watch others around me, thank you." She could feel herself cheered up as she watches infront of them.
Walking near the tide pools, she trys not to step in one of them, as they near the path, she smiles at the sight of the trees, closely her eyes and sensing it see if it was safe, feeling nothing but the small animals auras start to wake for the coming sun, it was still hours away but she could feel them like the fox and owl waiting for sleep with the sunrise. she opens her eyes and looks back towards the waves and the sound of the waves, bowing her head to the ocean " Oh might and power spirits of the ocean, here me, and please look after all creatures big and small, let your rains come and cool us down, please look after Maion, keep him safe, protect him and give him comfort as he has me." She hoped with all her heart that they would do as she asked she also didn't notice that she was saying this out loud.

Maion watched Bella, her actions seemed different somehow changed by her presence here. His eyes looked towards the Ocean once more, he was drawn to it as always, a feeling that he would be bound to it for eternity, the guardian of its shores. He nodded to Bella as she spoke; he never wanted anyone to feel upset or distraught by not having found the perfect ‘one’ for them. He himself was still looking, yet he had no idea if he would ever be able to truly devote himself to another person, the Ocean would always call him towards it. And as he stood here contemplating it he knew what action he would be forced to take, he would return to the Ocean. It was sad to even consider.
Sighing he looked up at the sky, the stars began to fade as the brilliant light of the sun began to take control. The night would soon have disappeared and his day of suffering would be begin once more.
Listening to the world around him he noted the movement from Bella, and heard her wishes as she spoke. Perhaps she did not realise that the creatures of the Ocean would be safe because that had him to protect them, yet her kind thoughts for him came as a shock, no one had ever taken the time to consider him into their equations, he was merely ‘there’. It pained him to admit it to himself.
Turning his body towards her he called after her. "Are you going home??"

Bella nods slowly " yes I hopefully that evil thing is gone and didn't find a way to my garden." Her whole body showed fear for her garden and evil hiding in the shadow, she was glad that she met a new she hoped their friendship would always be there, she turns to the trail that would lead to her garden home, turning her head to watch Maion she smiles sweetly again " I'm ready if you are?"

Smiling Maion nodded and walked beside her once more. His long locks bouncing in the soft breeze as he followed. There was something calming about this place even if the forest seemed to strike him as hold too many secrets. Sighing he raised his head. No matter what he would stay by her side and walk her safely home, for being of the Angeni breed he would not be able to bear the burden of knowing he had simply abandoned someone who needed his aid.
He spoke to her as they walked, conversations of wonder and joy discussing mainly what she wanted to get from life until before too short a time had passed they had reached the entrance to her home. Once again he felt the familiar twang at the back of his mind which told him no good would come of him entering such a scared place, so majestically he bowed his head and spoke one last time. "I wish you well dear flower." He nodded, allowing his eyes for a moment to take in the beauty of the world that seemed to unfold behind her, even in the fading light the flowers and beauty seemed to radiate towards him. Laughing at his own sentimentality he turned and began a slow walk away, turning his head for a moment to say, "Until next time Bella." With that he spread his wings wide into the air and began to run, the wind rushing through his hair and feathers as he quickly began to flap them with all his might. Moments later he was flighting. Soaring so high in the sky that he felt as if he could reach the stars that began to come into view.
