-She nodded gently, recalling back to the days of the last castle change, and those scary gargoyles. That hadn't been a fun time at all.. Well... except maybe getting to curl up besides the young Gaston at night.
Looking back and forth she searched for signs of life and movement before offering cautiously.- "You're probably right... and so maybe we should find someone else.. see if they know what's going on?"
-Her mind flicked over to her younger sister.. every once in awhile she told tales of "saving princess' and the castle", but Duchess had always just smiled and nodded, believing it to be childhood imagination. But if it was right... perhaps someone else was going to have to play the role of hero this time? Save the castle and restore order?-

"Yeah, good idea...although, it's not like we really need anyone...hehe..." Gaston was now examining the large black and gold bow that was gripped in his other hand. "We'll be fine..." He let go of Duchess' hand so he could pull back on the wire that was connected to each end of the bow. Pulling it back tightly, he aimed towards the moon and let the bow twang back into place, although he didn't shoot an arrow.

-A very soft laugh touched her at his familar pride and she watched him play with the large bow curiously. How real was this ghost like body of hers? She could touch Gaston yes.. but could she actually do ghostly things if she pleased? Hover... go through walls..?
Flicking her ears gently, she looked back towards Gaston, reaching her fingers tentatively out. Thru him.. not on him. Pushing her fingers towards his arm she concentrated waiting to she is her fingers would stop again, or sink into him.-

Still playing with his new 'toy', Gaston failed to notice as Duchess slowly edged her hand towards his arm. It was not until he felt a sharp, cold sensation on his arm that he looked down, only to see that Duchess' fingers had disappeared into his armour. "Whoa...well, at least you have...powers?"

-Seeming dually delighted about the little trick, she beemed happily with pride. Who knew if such a thing could come in handy. Withdrawing her hand, she placed it gently against his arm, reaching up on tiptoes to press a cool kiss against his cheek.- "It would seem so."
"Should we get to looking around then? At the very least we should find some place to sleep for the night, if we don't find a way out by then."

Smiling at the kiss he recieved, he held out his arm for her to link. "I don't think it will be long before we find someone...everyone else is probably as clueless as we are about this place..." Of course his mind went to the twins at some point, but he knew they would be safe with Iris at home. He was more concerned about his little brother, who was more fond of staying outside that staying indoors, but he didn't let his concern show. "This place doesn't seem so bad anyway..."

-The castle hadn't seemed so bad either at first.... But hopefully Gaston was right. Linking her arm in his, she allowed him to lead, more curiously glancing around at their surroundings now that she felt safe.- "Hmmm... well if we find people out and about we can probably guess this place isn't bad.. Back in the other castle everyone we ran into was hiding."

"Everything will be fine, I'm sure of it!" Gaston was determined not to let the night be spoiled, no matter what weirdness came their way. The ring was still in his pocket, so no matter what happened, the night would end on a high note. Although, finding a romantic spot to propose was going to be a lot harder now. "Which way do you think we should head Duchess?"

-His familar confidence brought a soft comforted smile to her pale face and she leaned against him once again, letting her eyes drift to his own change with soft curiousity. The way it hung tight and taunt over his muscles... If a ghost could blush, she certainly would have, but instead she simply mused a little to herself silently.
Glancing gently about she flicked her ears up, trying to find any hints of life and sounds.- "Mmm.. perhaps we should find the center of.. the castle.. town?"
((Masa dear, would you like to invite someone(s) to join us? That way we can have other people, and still not clog up the thread? Or would you prefer to move to the thread :3 ))

Gaston grinned at her, a playful glint in his eye as they walked. "I can carry you if you like...I bet you're much lighter now..." He wrapped his arm around her, cuddling her close and giving her a gentle kiss on the side of her head. The way he was acting, it was as if everything was normal again. "Lets head towards the centre of town...no point in heading to the castle, since it's such a nice night..." The moon and the stars in the sky were the only romantic setting he had going for him now.
