Bennete nods, "oh yes so nice!" he giggled, "And Bingly agrees. We both want you to stay with us." He laughed and nodded looking around for a nice safe place to make Higoi a nice home.
He smiled and looked up to see some water weeds. "Looks....those weeds look soft...shall we get them?"

Higoi looked at the weeds that Bennet pointed out to her, and she smiled and nodded. "They can make a soft bed!" she said brightly, squeezing Bennet's hand and striking out with her feet to swim towards them. "And maybe if there's enough we can make a comfy bed for you and Bingly too!"
She wanted to help them as much as they were helping her. She didn't know whether or not they already had a bed ... she hoped that if they did, she hadn't made it sound as if it wasn't good enough.

Bennet flushed a bit. "Well...we just have algae as a bed...not soft weeds. " he blushed and watched her swim. He followed behind her and smiled. "What type of home do you have up river?"

"Algae can be soft, too," Higoi blushed as well, shamed that she had made his home sound bad. "My home is just a hole in the bottom of the lake ... it's small and it's dark, and I don't like it there very much. It's kind of scary ... and at night ..."
Her eyes grew large and fearful. "At night I can hear big animals swimming past, and I'm afraid they're going to eat me."

Bennet smiled, "Well you can stay in our home....then we can help protect you we can all fit...though when we grow we will have to find a new place to stay" he smiled, "Then we can all use the algae and weeds." he clapped his hands smiling at her. "Does that sound fun?"
Bingly nods and reaches out to start collecting the weeds and holding them so Higoi's hands and arms would still be free.

Higoi's eyes lit up brightly at Bennet's suggestion.
"Really?" she beamed. "Do you really think we could? I think that would be the most wonderfullest thing in the whole wide world!" She giggled and threw her arms around him, hugging him tightly both with her arms and with her legs. "You're my bestest best friend ever!" she gushed.

Bennet smiled just as much as she did and when she wrapped herself around him he held onto her just as much. "Yes we can! Bingly wants it too!" he nuzzled into her shoulder giggling.
Bingly moved just in time not to get squished in the hug and he burbled carrying the weeds to thier room. He popped his suckers happily when he put the weeds in a hole for later.

Higoi giggled, just about crying for happiness - though it was impossible to tell for sure when she was underwater.
"And all three of us can be together and none of us will ever have to be lonely!" she murmured happily, slowly releasing Bennet again. "You're sure there's room for me, though?"

Bennet giggled and nods as he was release. "Yes I think so...though when we grow we will need a new home." he took her hands and swam down towards his rocky bed where Bingly was already sitting. "its nice Bingly found this really nice rock that covers the bed so that we are safe at night when we sleep too. Bingly is a very good friend."

"Bingly is very smart," Higoi smiled widely as they joined the octopus in his and Bennet's home. "He is a very good friend indeed."
She reached out to stroke Bingly's head again, smiling warmly at him. "And when we grow and need a new home, we can all work together and find another safe place," she murmured. Her eyes turned back to Bennet, and she smiled again. "Let's make a promise," she said suddenly. "Let's promise to always be friends, no matter what!"

Bingly wrapped a tentacle around Higoi's wrist and gave it a soft friendly squeeze. He had done well in finding her. She was really nice.
Bennet nods, "Oh yes Bingly too, lets promise to always be friends!" He held out his hand with his pinky up, "Pinky promise!" he giggled and smiled so warmly at Higoi. She was the coolest, and only girl, he had met.
Bingly reached out his smallest tentacle looking happy and very proud and wrapped it around Bennet's finger.

Higoi giggled and raised her hand with the others'.
"Pinky promise," she agreed happily, curling her pink around Bennet's finger and Bingly's tentacle. "For ever and ever!"
She was so glad that she had met them. She couldn't imagine anything happier.

Bennet giggled and pounced Higoi hugging her close. "I am so very happy!" He nuzzled her shoulder and giggled, "Maybe we should make softer beds before we explore.
Bingly moved to pull the weeds out of the hole he stuffed it in. He smiles and lays it out.

Higoi squealed and giggled, nuzzling Bennet's cheek with her muzzle.
"Yes," she agreed happily, "I think that would be a good idea." She released him and swam over to Bingly. She smiled at him as she reached for the weeds he had pulled out. "Thanks!" she said brightly. "We can weave this into a bed cover and make the beds nice and soft!"

Bennet swam over as well though looked confused. "How do you weave?" He didn't know the first thing about weaving or anything like it. But he was very excited for Higoi to teach him. She was so much fun. "Oh but it sounds nice...normally Bingly just lays atop me to warm me up." he giggled.
