Maya's world would again change. The flow of fire would cease while the pools would freeze over. The skies would illuminate with a clouded gray light, allowing no true light to touch, only the remnants of rays from the dark clouds. Snow would begin to fall lightly, and the room he found himself in as his eyes would...well, they were already open, but as they came in to focus, the temperature would continuously plummet. The snow falling outside would fall like cherry blossoms petals, even scatter in the various winds.

"Enough senseless bickering." He'd situate himself properly, then eliminate the scent of vanilla from the room. It was a kind gesture that would not go without notice, but not quite the healing aroma he needed. Instead, he'd force a small rain shower over the castle, HIS domain, and force the windows open to allow the scent of fresh, unsoiled rain to fill the room.

"Draega...he did not kill me. He could never kill me. He used...Jashinism...to make me feel and experience...as he did. You've no one to...extract revenge on. Singe lies an inch from death...a broken husk unable to come back...to reality. It was...a kamikaze tactic. He meant only to slow me down...and force the two of you...in to a blind rage. You've all my power...Draega. But not the knowledge...of it. Your own power...would never stand against...my brothers...the elf...the witch...and soon enough...a new Singe. Maya...while your intentions are noble...NEVER...make assumptions. And never...tell Draega...what she may or may not do. Wait for now...but do not dote on me. I only need...blood. Fresh...someone to drain...allow me my rest, Draega. I'll give you what you...desire. Maya...fetch me as I ask...so I may freeze the world...and make it an angel's paradise...as we three...are the angels...that will fix this corrupt would."

With that, his eyes would close and he'd not fall simply asleep, but rather unconscious. He'd exerted a great deal of power without even realizing it, and exerted even more to change the climate about the castle and to speak. Finally, he'd exhaust himself and fall to the bed like a corpse.

Maya's golden hues would look towards the outside seeing that her world shifted... again. She knew her lord was awake! and she nodded, she knew he would be a little upset with her. Upon hearing his request she would smile and nod once more, but she wasn't going to leave her world Maya was a scientist after all...And she was rather twisted in her own way. She'd go into the lab and opened the freezer, inside was a human meat rack that didn't seem to end , they were all still very fresh. She'd pull a body from the rack and close the door a few bodies were actually still twitching. She'd grin and appeared back in Kain's bedroom with that fresh corpse, she'd lay the corpse by his mouth and stepped back.

Again he'd awaken thanks to he pressure on his damaged body, already struggling to find the energy to regenerate. He'd release a series of deep coughs, some with blood as he forced the corpse from him. He'd look to Draega, wishing he could offer a warm smile to calm any cold feelings left behind by his earlier comments, then look to Maya.

"I appreciate...the attempt. But...it is saddening. I obviously need...to be more...specific. The body...it must be fresh. It must...be warm. It must...be able...to know fear...I must be able...to feed on...the fear...and...the warm blood...of it...of HER. Blood...pure as...an angel's...blood...like Mary's...the blood...of a human...virgin...uncorrupted by the planet...lacking evolutionary...abilities. She must...know God...and God...must recognize her. Maya...find me...the definition...of an Innocent."

With that, once again, his eyelids would grow far too heavy for him to keep open, and again, he'd slip in to a deeper, far more painful sleep.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 27, 2008 6:01 pm

Maya would sigh and then rubbed her temples, she was mad at herself for even thinking that would work. Well, no use in making meat go a waste, she'd take the corpse back into the meat locker, shutting the door she pondered on what he wanted. Would she have to leave her world? No, she would create what he needed. The definition of an innocent, someone who is virgin, someone who knows God and God knows her. Blood purest of the angels.. Her golden hues would light up as she smiled a rather dangerous, predatory grin.

"SO I see, I believe I know what my Lord and master wants." She'd look to Draega with soft hues of gold as she spoke. "Please my lady, as Kain did say, you may do as you wish, but for now watch our lord, please" Maya then turned around to face the forest, she would lift her hands, palms up of course. As soon as she did this a huge church-like structure would rise out of the ground, she'd dust off her hands and walked in. A little girl was praying in front of the huge statue of Mary Madelin.

Maya would grin, this was the perfect meal for her new love. She was a little girl around the age of 12, innocence was all there, human, and her blood was in lesser words; perfect. She'd move with incredible speeds and grabbed the little girl by her hair, then appeared back in the mansion with the screaming little brat, she was scared out of her mind. A little church girl had to be perfect! The fear leaked out of her body, and every little pore. She was so innocent it almost made Maya want to puke.

Draega's icy countenance fell apart at the sound of Kain's voice, drifting to the earth like soft, sweet snow, as white as an angel's wings and as glittery as sugar. With a muttered sound of agony Draega flew to Kain's side, gently stroking his head with the lightest of touches, afraid to do him any harm. She nodded earnestly to Maya, as she told of her need to leave. Draega hardly heard her...did not even register Kain's request. She had turned a blind eye to everything else but Kain's livelihood.

Her long pointed ears drooped and her eyes became distant as she watched over him. Her fingers drifting in and out of his hair and across his face, never more than the most light feather-like of caresses.

And all too soon it was shattered, her sharp ears perking up at the sound of a child screaming. For a moment she was brought back her childhood, and she fought it back, fearing those memories but unable to shake them. And then Draega FELT her...the innocent little girl. A child...pure and untouched...and AFRAID. And Draega knew her feelings and felt her still heart pulse as if in resonance. She let out a soft choking sound, red tears flowing forth from her eyes. She drew away from Kain and bit her lip until it bled, she hated herself for being so weak. But the scars were still there, and her new abilities did nothing to help her pull herself away from her own childhood...where her screams had not been so far from this child's own. She choked on what felt like her own tongue and gagged, ghosts of past hurts and pain rising once more to the surface.

Once more she felt her wings ripped from her. Once more she felt her ears clipped. Once more she felt her face burned...she felt her skin shredded. She felt her back as the whip her father held sliced through her skin for the tenth time that night for nothing more than missing a single word in her essay.

And yet her eyes were drawn back to her love and her feet took her back to him where she knelt beside him and, still sobbing, her body shuddering in pain it had not forgotten, she gently took his hand and placed the lightest of kisses upon his cheek. Despite her pain, despite the fact that the girl's feelings were mirrored within her, she still loved him more than all else and so she stayed beside him. "My love..." she whispered, "...forgive my weakness...I love you. No matter what you do...I shall always love you."

For hat would be the final time he'd come to. He'd feel Draega's soft kisses, though everything would shatter as he heard screaming. He'd turn his attention to the girl before him, then to Maya. She had the right idea, though he wasn't in the condition to be picky. She'd followed his request to the last T, thus he had no one but himself to blame for this. He'd move himself to sit up, revealing missing patches of body here and there as opposed to mere patches of skin. Bony hands would reach out to the little girl, flesh missing from a good portion of both hands. He'd move her in to his arms, soon cradling her as a father would his own child.

"God has not turned a blind eye to you. This world, child, is no world for children; no world to try and toughen up in. Not in this state...not at this time...not with these threats. There will come a time when children can walk the streets free of fear again, but for now, children are no more than fodder to beings far worse than I. I'm not going to try and coax you in to thinking this is the answer to your prayers, but God would not have allowed you to be in my presence if it were truly wrong. There will be no pain. I'll take away the fear, and yes...you will die. But, you'll be delivered upon the Gates of Heaven, and Saint Peter will welcome you with open arms. God will embrace you, and one day, you may return to a world that's been cleansed."
He'd run a crippled hand through the girl's hair, moving it casually from her neck. Even he felt bad about this, but he'd convinced himself all was well with his own words. He'd look to Draega, then let out a bit of a sigh. "Sacrifices must be made...but I'll not allow her to feel pain, nor will I allow her to suffer in this world." With that, with the snap of his neck he'd latch on to the girl's neck, though his fangs would drip with a strong sedative that would instantly rush through the girl's system, making her feel as if all was well in the world, allowing her to enter a wonderful sleep. Once he was sure his sedative, made from his own blood had taken affect, he'd begin to slowly drain her, making sure to go at a pace that would allow her to die off long before the sedative. A more lengthy process then he preferred, but these were special circumstances.

After a decent while he'd finish, keeping the girl in his arms as a dried, smiling husk. No mess on his lips given the time he'd taken on her...no blood on her neck. He'd turn to Maya with a stern look that nearly made his crimson hues flare. "Bury her in a pearl coffin and mark her grave with a large tombstone marking her sad sacrifice." He'd then move his legs a bit, then look back to Maya. "After she's been laid to proper rest with proper prayer...bring me my robes and a wheelchair. You may want me to rest for months, Maya, but I want revenge...as does my love. I need not my body to protect myself and fight, only someone to attend to my damned chair."

Maya stood there, arms folded across her chest as her eyes were closed. She was listening to her sister intently, walking over to her and hugging her close as Kain would speak, she'd stroke her sister's back softly. "He is right my dear, our Kain will not let this child suffer" She'd tuck a strand of white behind Draega's ear and looked into her eyes, then her head turned to here her Lord. "As you wish my lord" She'd let go of her sister and would take the lifeless child from Kain.

She then walked back inside the church, inside was a coffin made of pearl just like Kain asked, she gently placed the girl in it and closed the coffin. "This church shall be your tomb, rest in peace young one" Her voice was soft, as she lifted her hands up slowly and then would place them down, As she did, the church would sink back into the earth. A tomstone bared the girl's name and her purpose:

Here lies the one who was sacrificed for the good of all man kind, May her soul rest in peace.

Hearing his other order, she grabbed a custom made wheel chair, the chair itself looked to be an exact replica of his throne, she'd move to his side and helped him into his chair, even as he spoke she was silent. Revenge... that's what her lord and master wanted... She'd look to Draega and smile softly, then would do as he wished. Maya would be the one to attend to Kain's chair.
PostPosted: Mon Dec 01, 2008 9:44 pm

Draega's tears stopped with the child's and she solemnly took her sister's hand as she came to comfort her. There was no comfort however for the pain in her past, just that lingering bitter taste in her mouth. The bile from the sickness caused by the pain she had been dealt so long ago. To her, Kain was no devil, he was not cruel. For no man could surpass the cruelty visited upon her by her father. It had nearly driven her mad once, and even now it still threatened her hold on her sanity. As the little girl died, Draega hoped that her own childhood memories would die with her, but there was no ease for her even as the child drew her last breath.

As Maya left with the child Draega turned to Kain and smoothed his hair back, softly, just as she had done before, and kissed his forehead once more. Then she leaned down and hugged him tightly, a smile finally gracing her lips. She leaned in to his ear and whispered happily to him. "I shall freeze and shatter their pathetic hearts my love....I shall freeze they're flame and let them feel each sting of cold as it peirces through their skin and leaves them as frostbitten creatures so cold that they're skin burns away. They have hurt you...they have hurt what is mine. And I shall burn the lesson of their crime into their souls ..Please...let me fight for you my love."

As Maya returned Draega pulled away although her eyes remained directed upon Kain, her determination clear within her eyes. Ice slowly creeped around the edges of her irises. Merely a small threat to indicate what was to come.

Finally conscious and more then aware of his surroundings once more, Kain would finally return Draega's sweet gestures while making sure not to pull on her or force her to feel any missing...items. The girl's blood was already working wonders, finally allowing him to regenerate and focus. "To...lamely quote a movie, one word replaced: Mortal world turned to ice; here be an immortal's paradise. I'd love nothing more then to have you cast them all in to the cold abyss my love. I welcome your aid, and I ask for yours as well, Maya. I need someone to tend to me, as pathetic a request as it is. I need to allow Draega's wings to spread and her vengeance to be extracted, and I can't very well do that without knowing I'm there to protect her, and you in turn. I'd rather not waste all of my energy on mobility."

He'd move himself in to his chair, at which point every shred of dead skin and clothing would burn from his body via black flames, and soon after he was more or less clean a black shadow would engulf him completely after erupting from his form. They'd begin to droop from him like an ooze, though solidify before anything could fall in the form of thick black robes including hood. "Maya...Draega...figure out what you're going to do, how you're going to do it, and end this game."
PostPosted: Thu Dec 04, 2008 10:41 am

Maya would nod her head as both those hands were placed upon her Lord's chair, besides Maya wasn't the one to fight anyway. SO she'd be GLAD to take care of Kain while her sister would do the dirty work. She'd watch Draega with soft golds, She'd watch Kain transform as her eyes looked back to her sister. "Kain is right sis, we need to end this. And how we are going to end this is this; I will tend to Kain's every whim and seeing as I am also a scientist, and Kain is badly hurt.."

She'd tap her fingers against the chair, her eyes lit up with he answer. "I will create clones of our Dark Lord, since Kain does not need to use up any more power, yes, he is regenerating nicely with the virgin blood..But, he still needs rest" She'd look to her sister and to Kain wondering what they thought of it.

Draega pulled away and smiled warmly at her sister before her expression became serious, very much like the one she used to where as a spy within the HEC. "If there were any time to attack it would be now." she nodded absently and turned to pacing, something she did only when thinking, though eventually even that faded away and Draega simply hovered one way and then the other, her feet hardly ever touching the floor. "We should get to them now...while they are still recovering from Singe's loss. Also...it would be prudent if we make our entry quiet ...and subtle and take them out one at a time." Then she turned, red eyes a bit quizzical, her feet finally finding the ground once more. "Is that acceptable or do you have any other idea Maya?" she asked, truly interested to see if there was some other approach they could try.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 04, 2008 8:40 pm

"Currently, my youngest brother is...off the charts. Last I saw of him, he was helping the Devil-Child to resurrect Singe without use of my blood. Nimm is a Devil-Child given her heritage...not one I'd take lightly. The elf girl Ravyn seems to be preoccupied fawning over my other brother and showering. Ishado himself is, at the moment...greeting Panderas, Lilane and Freddy, who seem to want Nimm. Their interference makes things a bit more difficult on us, even if they offer aid. I'd be amazed if little Lilane had nothing against...if we enter now, we'd have the advantage of a missing brother of mine, Singe, and Nimm. But, with Ishado as fired up as he is, he could more then count for their absence. Ravyn may be useful in the long run, and again: The other three are variables. I'd rather they know what they're doing and everyone have a side at the moment, so I'll ask either of you two ladies to make a BRIEF appearance and retreat, only allowing yourself enough time to give them a warning of out arrival...the Seraphs of this world. Then retreat." His movements had ceased since he'd sat down. Every now and again a hand would move for the sake of emphasis, but otherwise he kept still, kept quite aside from words, and hardly let off an aura. It would be easy to miss him at the moment upon a scan without double-taking.

At hearing the names of Lilane, Panderas and 'Freddy' Draega's head would p***k up, as would her ears. Her red eyes would become wide and flash blue-purple for a second before reverting back. "Freddy? As in Fredrick Basilica? What is he doing with Lilane and Panderas? For that matter...why is Panderas even alive?" Draega shook her head however and folded her hands before her. "No...never mind the questions. For now Kain is right. We should know where everyone stands before we plunge ahead. Still...I have no doubt of Lilane's loyalty. She and I..." Draega paused and turned her eyes to Maya.

The dark lady smiled apologetically, "Lilane was and still is...one of my best friends. Though she is not as close to my heart as you or Kain, Maya." Then Draega would turn her eyes back to Kain's. "Also Lilane has always believed in using violence as a last resort only. She despises unnecessary violence. If they ask her to fight us she would have to be sure it would be for the best for herself, the world, and the one's she holds the most dear. Despite past grievances. Lilane is not like most people...she holds no grudges no matter what the slight against her. "

Draega then returned to a thoughtful look, her eyes creasing in a mixture of concentration and worry. "Panderas and Fredrick are different. The one thing you could count on with Fredrick was his dislike of the HEC and his greed. Pay him enough and he'd work for anyone. Now that the situation has changed it is unclear where exactly he might stand." Her eyes then turned a dangerous stain of dark red, tinted with ice. "As for Panderas...that is trickier. If I still had a connection to my family I might have been able to talk to my uncle about his motives but...at this point that is near to impossible. When I knew him Panderas was a amazing genius who seemed to have no love for anything but progress...but...he was always kind to me. As for his newest motivations involving Kain's DNA well...that is harder to say. To be quite frank...it's like the man is unreadable."
PostPosted: Thu Dec 04, 2008 11:04 pm

"Well, the boy, that is Fredrick, seems reluctant to be where he is. He's also managed to piss off my brother with his lack of respect for Pan. As for Pan being alive...he's never really died. I've not allowed it. In return, he's given me more information then I could ask for on this or that. To my knowledge, his last project revolved around, as you said, my DNA. I remember giving him one of my arms before coming here to allow him all the study he could ask for, but if that did not suffice, I'm confused, and his need of Nimm baffles me. While it's Nimm you curse, love...I'm reluctant to step in if Pan's intentions remain as noble as they last were. But, my suggestions remains the same. If he knows I'm coming, then he may have something for me...be it knowledge or questions, and I'm obliged to accept and answer. Lilane I have vague memories of; I sent a clone out to help her shortly before I went in to a short hibernation. I'd rather not kill a friend of a friend either way, and she shows no disrespect to Pan. Yes...we need to allow them to give themselves away. Not even my brothers know what my new eye can do...things would be so much harder if they did. Now, the question is: Which one of you two would go? I'm not sure I want you to go Draega my love...too many you know, too many you hate. I'd rather you stay here and focus your energies while Maya, as a sort of Messenger for the Seraphs delivers our imminent descend."He'd grown rather fond of calling their group the Seraphs. As he thought, Draega reminded him so much of Michael through her yearning for vengeance and overall inner wrath. Gabriel could be seen in Maya, always playing support and now delivering messages from what mine as well be the heavens. And his ego allowed him to see Metatron in himself. With what he knew, he found he mine as well be The Voice. Finally, movement beneath the robes aside from lips and fingers...a sick, vile grin as his eyes, each showing off their power through his pupils lit up the hood.

Maya's golden eyes shifted from her sister and to Kain, she was silent as to not interrupt them. When Draega spoke so high of Liliane she'd only lift her hand up and smile sweetly as if to say. 'no harm done' placing it back down on the back of Kain's chair. She really didn't know what was happening, she knew none of these people, but for some odd reason Pan sounded sort of like she did before all this happened. Shaking her head at a thought, her golden eyes searched Draega and she realized that Kain was right, Maya would be the Messenger for 'The Seraphs'. "Yes m 'lord" Was all she really said.

Her barbed wire wings would unfold noisily from her shoulder blades, cracking every now and then. As they stretched and folded over her form, engulfing the woman in a golden light, she then would be literally swallowed up by the light.
