[/genre] I completely agree with Mike on this one. of course you do. we're cool like dat Flogging Molly? what about them? yes they're a good band, but how do they relate to this conversation?

A lot of death/doom and most funeral and drone doom is moody music that I'm never in the mood for. However, if it is death/doom that is essentially slowed down pure death metal (Winter, Asphyx, first Paradise Lost album), I will probably like it.

Well Trad doom is not a favorite of mine to say the least. I find the vocals extremely annoying and the music isn't much better. I can find things I like in almost all of the genre's except for Trad Doom.
