Ailinea Sorina lowered her hand after being called on. "Yes, professor, I was wondering what we are to be changing our animals into. One has to imagine an object before one's animal turns into anything, so I was wondering if there was anything specific we were supposed to imagine or say after the incantation." " yes well, right now were letting the ones who haven't been here as long as you practice saying it."she said in a deffinate tone, " But yes you will be turning your animals into something specific. I want you to make them into a trunk. this way, if you ever happen to be missing yours for school, you can make your house pet into one."

Sorina blushed as she realized she was getting ahead of herself. "Yes, ma'am, thank you," she said as she started saying change in a whisper.

Dea looked at Harry and noticed he looked a little bored.
Just let the new people get used to it,Dea thought-spoke to her cousin.

"alright, It looks like everyone is ready to try. now Take out your wands and point it at your animals. I want you to think of your trunks. and when you have that pickture in your head I want you to say change." she looks around at the silence students and contiunes. "I'll be surprize if anyone does it the first time. If something goes wrong I will correct it at the end of class."

Dea pictured her trunk in her mind and pointed her wand at Tabby.

She listend to the class yell out the spell and and saw someof them messing up but for the most part they did a very good job.

Sorina whispered "change!" as her hawk turned not into a trunk, but a very lovely purple hat.

Professor McGonagall gets up from her desk and walks around the room to survay the damage. She walks by Sorinas and shakes her head. "My dear mrs Celeste. you have to consintrate on what you want it to be."
She take her wand out of her pocket and gives it a flick. The hat turns back into a hawk with a pop and it goes screaching around the room.

this is boring Zak thought to Zeke.
We can 'change' that Zeke thought and whispered the word change as he pointed his wand at a vase on the desk, and thought hard about it sprouting eyes and legs and arms and wings.

Zak held back a laugh as the vase started to walk around on the desk, and then pointed his wand at his owl and said "change" while concentrating on grass covered green trunk.

Zeke lauged out loud as the owl instead turned into a lump of green grass.

Zak Laughed out loud and almost fell out of his chair as his brother's owl turned into a yellowish cloud.
