Lily didn't see Kir's smile because her vision was starting to blur. She was surprised how fast the fountain was taking her strength away and she had a feel it wouldn't stop until she left or died but she needed to make sure that the ritual was a sucess.

Derethra and Starbry came upon the cave. Derethra noticed the two people standing in front of the cave. Derethra thought that they might be responsible for the slaughter at the city so he pointed it out to Starbry. "Right. Lets just ignore them unless they point us out." She wispered. The two walked towards the mouth of the cave.

Kir looked up at Amaranth in confusion. He didn't feel any differently than before.
"Don't worry. From what I understand, the waters here are effective, but take a few minutes to work it's way into the system. For now lets' get back to the others," Amaranth said, with a hand on his shoulder.
They walked over to Lily and noticed she was a bit woozy.
"Are you okay? We're leaving now," Amaranth told her.
Kir looked at Lily in worry.

Lily just looked at kir then managed to get out an, "um..." before she fell forward, subcumbing to the fountain's pull on her. She new she had reached her limit but she felt suprisingly peaceful. I'm dying but I'm happy, odd. she thought before falling into darkness.

Durrahn shifted back to her human form. She looked between the other two, not sure whether to be happy or ashamed she hadn't gone with the group. THen she spotted Derethra and Starbry. "Derethra!"

"...!" Kir caught her as she fell. He looked scared.
"It must be this whole place. It must have rejected her," Amaranth said, "Hurry, we have to leave!"
Kir and Amaranth bolted for the cave entrance. Kir carried Lily in his arms.
"Lily! I'm right here! Stay with us!" Kir cried in his thoughts.

The guardians were the first to intercept the two. Due to Starbry's lack of knowledge of angelic, Derethra talked to the Guradian. "They said that we will be tested." Derethra said calmly. He knew fully well that both would make it through fine. Derethra thought he heard his name, and turned in the direction of the people, but saw no one he knew and walked into the cave. Starbry nodded and began to walk with Derethra down the cave. They both felt as if someone was sifting through them, looking for flaws. Eventually they reached the fountain and found the rest.

Lily didn't respond in anyway to Kir's thoughts. She was so still she didn't even appear to breathing so it was almost impossible to tell if she was still alive or not and the fountain would continue on her until she was too far away or she was dead.

Amaranth didn't want to tell them the news, but... "Derethra! Starbry! We're going outside! We're done here! Lily's in trouble!" Her sentences were broken but she hoped they would figure it out.
The threesome ran through the cave at an intense pace.

Durrahn frowned before remembering. They don't recognize the new me. OH well, I didn't know them well anyway. She turned on Pre and Kon. "So what happened to you two?" She asked, concerned. THey were badly hurt when they came to her group.

"Wha-What happened?" Starbry said rushing towards Lily and Kir.
Derethra lightly jogged up to Amaranth. "What did happen?" He said quietly.

"I don't know. We finished the ritual completely, and then Lily fainted or something!" Amaranth tried to explain. They didn't slow down.
"...!" Kir still cradled Lily in his arms. His teeth were bared and he looked like he was going to cry.
"Amaranth and Kir had fixed us up," Pre told Durrahn, "I nearly killed myself and they brought me back. Kon got hurt trying to stop me," Her explanation sounded like an excuse for trying to commit suicide, but she couldn't help it.

Durrahn shifted her head slightly, her hair inclining across her face. "SO you're okay now?" She asked, still concerned. Then she thought she heard noise coming from the other side of the cave. She looked down and saw the group coming their way.

Lily continued to be still but as they moved farther away from the fountain the force pulling on her life force lessened until they exitted the cave and then it disappeared completely.

The group bolted out of the cave and ran to the others.
Kir placed Lily on the ground quickly, but gently.
Before Pre could reply to Durrahn, she noticed the others and went over, "What happened? Is she okay?" She asked.
"I don't know!" Amaranth answered. She looked flustered and confused.
"Lily! Listen to me! Are you okay?" Kir pleaded with Lily mentally. His eye started to glow and his hand was on his chest.
