Lathanam Mercuryangel Lathanam Gaidin As a Warder-in-training I love the idea. He is online often, so even if the trainee isn't in the same timezone they can have a daily post back and forth. And of course, the more important, he RP's very well, and with good grammar. I say why not. I was actually about to post asking about this since my character is ready to take the "test", probably within a day or two RP time. THANKIES! I feel so loved! Heheh, regarding Mercury's post, he is right Merc, the other warders aren't on that often. I'm on about every day and I love to write, so it seems only logical. 3nodding I also thought it would be cool if I get this little title, say...Master or Warders-in-Training, or something os the like, I could perhaps also take up the position of Sword Master. I dunno, RPing with an actual person rather than one's self, it'ed be cool to have a Sword Master around. I was also wondering if I get this thing going, the testing that is, if I could make a thread for it. There, people would read the guidelines for advancement and they could RP requests, perhaps I can take up office in Alena's coat closet? xd But yea, I asked you because you are on more often than anyone in the guild, and I thought you would be the one to ask (hence the asking). 3nodding I agree, the other Warders really aren't on as often. YAY FROM LATHANAM!!!!!!!!!!! xd If you wanted to be swordsmaster the current npc would have to die.... ninja Well, he was old anyways... blaugh lol. Now that we have the warders-in-training thing pretty much worked out, time for accepted and novice. I would be honored to be the one who does the testings. I know that multiple sisters take part in the process, but you know what I mean. Like in the 2nd or 3rd book when Edgwene gets tested, there is that one sister who says the incantation/sayings and pours water on her or something. If you need someone to do that I will. With your comment about some not being able to make it as vivid as others, that is true, but it doesn't have to be a masterpiece or anything. It just has to be something well thought out, personal, well written, and not have typos (or at least not many). Yes, yes I know, I am a typo freak. *Twitch* But it's a milestone in your character's life, it should not be rushed.

Maybe a minimum of 30 in character posts could be another? I was thinking (When I finaly get appointed after the whole world ending thing) that there be a requirment of about fifty. That way I can be sure of their grammer an conduct as well. If the WiT (Warder in Training) is rude or something of the like, then they won't get promoted, not right away at least. God teaches us to be forgiving as he is, so I can forgive rudness after a time. ^_^

*flips through books lookin at the many many dog-eared pages* Ah-ha! For anyone who cares to know, in the paperback editions I have, Nynaeve's testing for Accepted is in "The Great Hunt", Chapter 23 'The Testing', pages 334-354. Egwene's test is in "The Dragon Reborn", Chapter 22 'The Price of the Ring', pages 243-267 (the ceremony finishes in the next chapter). There are five sisters involves along with the Amrylin Seat. The Mistress of Novices brings the girl in, three sisters watch and maintain the weave on the arches, one sister does the water ceremony, and the Mother says the final line in the ceremony. Just in case anyone wants to read up on those. Azalea Verde It just has to be something well thought out, personal, well written, and not have typos ... That looks so much like something my English teachers would write out along with our essay topics. I'll admit, I pinched that off the WoT RP (Umm, can't remember the link, I'll get back to you) but it's shorter and sounds nicer (to me, at least) that Master of Warders-in-Training.
