Turning the heat down on the stove, Tinania allows the vegetables to simmer as she slips into the living room to rest on the couch. By this time, she opt for a pair of her pj bottoms and a pink tube top. Watching Seiji and her two companions, she chuckles at them "Looks like you three wore yourselves out." as Seiji looks up at her, she wrinkles her nose up at him.
This causes the little dragon to squeal before turning to crawl towards her. Grabbing onto the couch, he stands rather wobbly as he looks up at him mother "Mama!!" with a chuckle, he lays his head on her leg.

He did not head immediately in the direction she'd told him to go, taking sidestreets that allowed him to pass through meadows and by hedges that, in the face of the coming fall season, were still in bloom.
By the time he'd reached the Durem Reclamation Facility, he'd amassed quite a few flowers he'd taken along the way, wild and domestic alike, that wafted their sweet fragrance up through the bite of the colder weather as if they were summer's one last hurrah.
He wasn't sure when or why he'd started collecting them, but holding them now, he knew precisely what he'd do with them as he trudged down the gravel path Tinania had indicated.
It went on longer than he'd expected it to, and he'd just begun to wonder if he'd taken a wrong turn somewhere when the arcs and gothic points of a large gate drew into view up ahead. ....just as she'd said they would.

There were two guards standing post outside the gate, chatting to eachother as the watch the area. Pausing, the male with long black hair nods towards Zhane. The other who had short white hair looks towards Zhane arching a brow "Why have you come here?" the white hair male ask Zhane while the other male looks him over closely. The mans eyes seem to glow as he glaze looks Zhane over from head to toe. He seem to be looking for something.
Tinania leans down picking up Seiji before she settles the little boy in her lap. Combing her fingers through his hair she chuckles "You have had a long day, and soon it will be time for you to go to sleep little guy." when she see him frown, she felt her heart melt. "Aww Seiji, you have to go to bed, so tomorrow can come and you can have fun all over again."
Seiji just stuck his tongue out at his mother, as he didn't like the thought of going to bed. He still wanted to crawl around and play. Pouting, he cross his arms before he shakes his head "No slep."

Zhane blinked at the two guards, squirming a bit under their gaze and feeling a bit like a bug under a microscope.
"Er...hi." he said, tilting them a wave with his free hand. "I'm here to see Tinania...?" he said, hoping that would be good enough. He didn't know if they'd ask for proof of some sort, and he wasn't sure he had any to give to them if they did.
At least he didn't appear threatening....just a mildly-confused young man carrying an overnight bag and a handful of flowers on his person.

After a moment, the man with the white hair looks towards the other male "Well can he pass?" when he gets a nod from the other male, he push the gate open "Alright you can go. Lady Tinania home is on the other side of the lake, the one with a fairy craved into the door." turning away the males went back to chatting to eachother.
Tinania chuckles at her son as she looks up at Rose. The feather tail cat shifted so that she was once again in her anthro form "Would you like me to make a bottle for him, so you can finish dinner?" smiling she holds her hands out towards Seiji, only to have him take them. Pulling him into her lap, Rose purrs at him only to cause him to giggle.
With a smile Tinania nods as she stand "That would be great of you Rose, thank you. Zhane should be here soon, and I would hate it if the first meal he ate here was burnt." leaning down she kisses Seiji's cheek before returning to the kitchen.
Her dinner was almost done, all was left was to add flavor.

Relieved he wasn't going to be barred from seeing her after all, he smiled gratefully. "Thanks." he said, making mental note of their directions as he passed through the opened gate, hearing it grate closed behind him as the chatter resumed.
He noticed almost immediately the change now that he was on the other side....it wasn't anything noticeable to the eye, per sey, but the air seemed more vibrant, and the smells seemed sharper. It was like thousands of tiny invisible fingers tickling all over his senses.
Maybe this was what magic felt like...
He only stopped to look about himself for a moment before he began to follow the lake's border to its other side, keeping an eye out for the door with a fairy on it.
What immediately struck him was that the structures resembled less of houses and moreso the ancient, gnarled trees that dwelled in the deepest woods. When he'd been younger, he'd often mused they would make good homes for fairies and....it nearly made him laugh to see that this was not far from the mark.
It took a bit of trial and error, and a moment of getting lost, but he soon found himself facing an ornate door with what was, indeed, a fairy carved on it. Drawing in a breath, he knocked, hiding the hand that contained the flowers behind his back.

It was actually Rose that open the door to greet Zhane. In her arms was Zhane, who instantly squeals when he see Zhane. With a light chuckle Rose bows her head to Zhane "I see you made it in one piece, Tinania will be please. Come on it, just leave your shoes here and we will head downstairs." turning away from him, she makes her way back down the stairs into the living room.
Its was a cozy room, with a rather large couch in the middle, and two love seats on either side of it. A fireplace stood on one side of the wall with a forty two inch LCD TV hanging above it. The smell of chicken cooking slip through the doorway which leads into the kitchen.
Moving to the playpen, Rose sets Seiji inside it as she hands him the bottle "Here you go sweetie." as he takes it from her, she plops back down onto the couch.
Seiji lays back on one of his blankets, sipping from the bottle as he watches the TV. Currently Little Bear was playing on the TV, which kept the little dragon quiet for the time being.
Tinania was humming to herself as she pulls the ready dinner off the stove. Grabbing a couple of plate, she set them down as she pops checks on the rice. With a sigh, she puts the lid back on "Another two minutes for that." she was so enthralled in her cooking, she didn't realize that Rose had let Zhane in.

"She gave good directions." he told Rose, and then gave Seiji a grin. "Hey you!" he greeted, happy the child didn't seem to be holding any grudges about how earlier that morning had ended up. He'd half-expected Seiji to associate his presence with Talon's yelling and want nothing more to do with him.
Doing as he was told, he paused to balance himself against the doorframe, slipping out of his sneakers, and leaving them by the door before following Rose inside and down the stairs.
He blinked owlishly, taking in the new surroundings and then paused when they reached the living room. He didn't know exactly what he'd expected of where Tinania lived, but this was amazing. It was easily twice the size of his own living room.
....but where was she, he wondered? His eyes eventually wandered to the kitchen where the smell of chicken wafted out and he leaned a bit to peer inside the doorway to see if he could catch a glimpse of her.

Tinania hips sway back and forth as she hums to herself, pulling the lid once more off the rice she smiles as she see it is done. Grabbing for a spoon, she spoons some of the rice onto each plate. Lifting the pan, she carefully pours some of the Teriyaki with vegetables onto the rice.
With that all done, she turns only to stop dead in her tracks as she see Zhane "When did you get here?" a blush forms over her cheeks as she looks down at her clothes. They were splattered in the grease off the chicken, and she had her hair up in a messy bun. This wasn't how she wanted Zhane to see her.

If he was offput by her disheveled appearance, he made no indication of being so as he beamed at her, happy to see her again. "Sorry, just a few minutes ago. Am I early?" he asked, cocking his head a bit.
He resisted the urge to go to her and hug her, at least for the moment. It was funny how the span of one day could feel like such a long time.

Tinania chuckles despite the blush that was still on her cheeks "No no, its alright. Your not early, in fact your just in time. I finish cooking dinner." stepping aside, she points towards the plates with food on them. Looking back at him, she chews on her bottom lip "I hope you don't mind Teriyaki chicken over rice. If you don't want that, I am sure I can find something else to make you." she didn't mind cooking, as she found it much like making potions.

He likewise gave a chuckle, rubbing at the back of his neck with the hand that wasn't behind him. "To be honest? I've never had it before, but it smells great." he assured her. Teriyaki wasn't unheard of to him, of course, it just wasn't something he'd ever gotten around to trying.
He hesitated, and then stepped closer, bringing out the flowers he'd gathered on his way over and presenting them to her. "Surprise." he grinned, hoping it didn't look too sheepish.

Blinking not once not twice but three times, Tinania seem actually shocked to see the flowers in front of her. Looking at Zhane, her blush darkens as she takes them from him "Oh Zhane, thank you so much. These are so pretty." Wrapping one arm around his neck, she brings herself closer to hug him.
The last thing she honestly expected after this morning was flowers.

He met her hug gratefully with one of his own, holding her to him for a long moment. After the morning they'd both had, this was a nice conclusion. Smiling into her shoulder, he closed his eyes.
"I'm glad you like them." he said quietly. "I figured they were probably going to be the last ones til next Spring"

Tinania smiles before she pulls away from him slowly "Go ahead and grab yourself a plate. I'm going to put these into a vase and I will join you in the living room." turning away from him, she moves down the hall towards her bedroom where she had an empty vase.
