Taking the mug gratefully, A'Hallei let out a whisper quiet "Thank you," and looked down into the mug, watching the chocolate and milk swirl together. The smell was nothing short of heavenly, thick, sweet and warm. He really could not thank Makenna enough, for taking care of him. A'Hallei began to consider returning home to bring back supplies, but... but, Makenna was not going to stay very long.

Makenna had also thought about going to get more supplies too. " Do you like oatmeal?" He asked looking at him holding three different kinds. " I have peaches and cream, mapel and apple cinnamon."

Ah, oatmeal A'Hallei knew. Thinking for a long time, he finally reached out and pointed to the maple package, smiling. The tree house was very quaint, but it led to the feeling of really roughing it. The forest, though not particularly large, was thick, and regular society could not be seen, even from a vantage such as this. It was...Nice. A'Hallei smiled.

Makenna smiled and made up the oatmeal. " So i was thinking of going into town angetting a few things. Will you be here when i get back?" He asked sipping at his hot chocolate. and stirring up the oatmeal and handing a bowl to A'Hallei.

So, the other lad was thinking his thoughts. Rather than becoming upset, as he was prone to do, A'Hallei simply nodded, before burying his nose in his mug, sipping the sweet concoction gratefully. The scents of chocolate, oatmeal and maple blended together in an exquisite aroma. Absently, A'Hallei was glad bears did not roam these woods, as their presense would become quite unwelcome.
Standing, A'Hallei walked to the exit to the treehouse and rolled down the rope ladder, so Makenna would not hurt himself further on his ventures. Returning to his seat, he began to eat the oatmeal.

A'Hallei finished his breakfast as well, and cleaned the dishes. Straightening up some, he even swept the floor, letting crumbs and debris fall to the leaflitter below. While Makenna was gone, and his back was turned, a squirrel made its way up the rope ladder, and wreaked havoc running about the treehouse. After chasing it off, A'Hallei drew up the ladder, hoping that when Makenna returned, he'd call for him to let down the ladder.

Makenna went home and grabbed afew things before going to the store and getting some other things to eat. When he returned he noticed the ladder had been pulled up, he'd need his back pack to lug everything up as well. " A'Hallei? Would you toss down the ladder and my back pack?" He shouted not loud enough to alert outsiders that they where there, just loud eneough to be heard if someone was in the tree house.

A'Hallei was lounging on the roof when Makenna returned. What if it were to rain? The roof was not properly equipped.
He was disturbed from his musings from the soft voice of the boy who had left. Swiftly he dropped from the roof to the balcony and scurried into the main room, grabbing Makenna's backpack from where it sat in the kitchen. Tying it simply to one of the lower rungs on the ladder, he let them fall together, smiling.

Makenna set to work untieing it and sliping everything in it. " Thanks" he called up as he started up the ladder. " I got enough stuff to last a few days, and a radio so we can listen to the weather, I couldn't find any oil lamps but i did get more matches." He said as he climbed onto the belcony.

Nodding, A'Hallei wondered how long until search parties started to come after him. He'd left no note or anything of the like. The call of nature hit him suddenly, and, inverting his legs, A'Hallei did the 'happy peepee dance for a moment before decending the ladder and disappearing into the forest to relieve himself.

Makenna laughed at the dance and then continued into the house setting out the things he'd gotten, he'd have to do some work on theis place maybe paint and make it look more liveable, he bought big candles so they'd have some light though he had to steal the matches and lighters, he shrugged those off he wasn't ready to go home yet and surely no one missed him to much.

A'Hallei returned shortly, hands full of green growing things. Scaling the side of the tree, he began planting creeping ivy along the side of the house and balcony, disguising the outline of the house and causing it to blend more into the canopy, at least by first glance.
A little spotted with dirt, A'Hallei clambered back inside, swiftly rebraiding his hair.

Makenna sat facing a wall playing with his earings he'd done a few moew himself so now he had them traviling up his ears he liked them wanted his eye brow done but he wouldn't do that one himself, He though i about staying here and only going home when he really had too.
" A'Hallei do you ever think of staying here all the time?" he asked still facing the wall, he wasn't even sure if the other boy had come into the house, let alone if he'd actually talk to him.

In all perfect honesty, he had no intention of ever wandering back home, save for the one fact that he hadn't the faintest clue where the forge was. To stay here forever would mean he would never return to the place of fire and soot he loved. Glancing outside toward the sky, he thought about it for a long while. Then again...It had been an awfully long time since he had seen the ever pervasive fog, a marked improvement. And...Thinking back on it now, it had been several days since his ebony twin had haunted his mind. Samsara would surely not be pleased.
Sighing a little, he walked over to Makenna and placed a hand lightly on his shoulder, normally harsh green eyes soft, dark, warm. Smiling, he nodded, lightly thumbing the side of Makenna's cheek. His claw did not press hard enough to draw blood, Makenna was too gentle to enjoy such a thing.
It struck A'Hallei just how much he cared for the younger boy. He'd never shown such consideration for another's feelings before, but could never place why. Makenna...Gazing into the deep dark pools of his eyes, A'Hallei outwardly shivered. Why did this boy hold so much sway over him? Frightening himself once more, he took a step backwards and stumbled. The ghostly boy ungracefully tumbled to the floor in a racous clatter of armor.
