Nino nods, and turns to face everyone. "It's with a heavy heart that I call this meeting tonight.. I'm sorry if any of you were sleeping, but this is a matter of importance. There are morphs attacking the kingdom. Leaf and Ayra are captured. The morphs lay in wait preparing another attack! We need to move against them, and we don't have much time. Are you all ready to fight?"

Rath made a sudden addition, still unwilling to believe that they were up against morphs. "The origin of our enemy is still unknown... we cannot assume that they are morphs... but they are intruders nevertheless... we must subdue them quickly, before their presence is known by the members. So in repetition of what Nino has said... are you ready?"

"If I was ready to fight Nergal before, then I'm ready to fight our unknown enemies." Isadora answered as she stood up from her chair, placing her hand on the scabbard of her sword. "We cannot have another invasion, even before Halloween is about to come."
Isadora knew that Nino and the crew were working so hard to prepare the party for the Halloween. However, she would never expect morphs to attack them, even with the holiday about to come.
Nevertheless, Isadora knew that they would triumph again just like they did against the imposter called Wrathy Claus from last Christmas. The Dame Knight looked around to see if any of the crew would agree to fight.

Heath got the news and thought it over for a few minutes. "Nino..." he started, "You should stay behind. You're the leader, and if you go down, then others might be clueless or maybe not as well coordinated. I will guard you if wanted, while the others try to relieve the threat." He stood straight, and looked around. This... might lead to a lot of trouble.

"Hmm..." Nino looked at Heath uncertainly for a moment. "Are you... sure they don't need us out there? Aah... Ok..." She turned to Rath. "You'll be ok, right? You can lead the charge?" She watched Rath give her a nod. She looked around the room at the faces of her beloved friends as they nodded grimly, indicating their intention to fight. "Come back alive. I won't forgive myself for staying behind if you fail."
The Crew left, leaving Nino and Heath alone in her quarters. Soon the sounds of battle followed. Nino sat nervously on the bed and looked at Heath.
"I can't believe this is happening. Morphs? Even if Rath says they couldn't be, I believe it's possible. What Nergal did... It was a learned power, right? He just... figured out how to manipulate the life force... quintessence... of another being... Right? There could be another. It's possible."
After several minutes, Nino began to really worry about the fight outside. "I can fight. You and I can both fight, why are we sitting here doing nothing while they need us?!" Nino grabbed her elfire tome once more and headed towards the door.

"Yes, if they get captured, they still won't have the main, and we can rescue the others if it comes to that." he rationalized. "It's a far fetched plan, but it might work." He shifted nervously. They weren't much of a force, and they had already got some of the crew members... Him and Nino might have had to run.

Nino turned around and looked desperately at Heath. She turned back toward the door uncertainly. Then she turned again toward Heath, not expecting at all what she saw next.

Madriana stood in front of her. Two morphs and a younger girl stood at her side. They were deathly silent for a moment. The green haired child stared at Madriana wide eyed. "You. You are the captain of this pathetic group of misfits? No matter. If you are the captain then you are the one I must take down. Grishelda. Please take care of the moldy haired knight in the corner. I'll deal with this girl."

Nino stared, mortified, up at the new necromancer. "You... You're a necromancer! Like... like Nergal!" She looked over at Heath. "Heath! Watch out!"

"As you wish, my glorious Mistress." Grishelda responded as she stepped forward waving her wand in her hand. A sly smirk spread across her face as she saw the knight stood in front of the mageling.
"Pitiful knight, you're no match against me. Fimbulvetr!!" Grishelda yelled, sending her magic toward the knight's chest directly.

Heath stood in front of Nino defiantly with his spear ready. But the magic was coming too quick, he couldn't block. "Grrk!" was spat out rather quickly, while he nearly collapsed. He hurled the spear at her, knowing that he wouldn't get another chance. "Nino... Try not to get captured..."

Grishelda leaned her head toward the right as the spear went pass her. She gave a silent hmph before walking toward the fallen knight. Placing her boot on the knight's chest, she leaned down to let the knight see her face.
"You think there is a miracle at your end? How gullible of you. There is no escape from the lovely Mistress, Lady Madriana. Only obedience, servitude, and eternal loyalty to her. HOhohoho!" Grishelda sneering laughed as she pushed her boot deeper onto the knight's chest.
