Chuckling, Fuyu slipped his rucksack around and pulled out the thin blanket he took earlier. "I don't usually use towels, but this should do." He smiled and handed the blanket, now a towel, to Syai.
Then, as if simply curious, Fuyu dipped his front right paw into the clear water. When he pulled it out, he closed his mismatched eyes and blew gently on his paw. With a sudden crackling sound like small bells being smashed into each other, the thin layer of water on the paw frosted over.

Ice powers . ? syai asked , *he rubed himself down with the blanket
"thank you, you should back home to the warmth . it is getting to chilly even for a winter gladier . what do you plan on using you ice paw for ? hitting me over the head with ?"

At Syai's voice, Fuyu's eyes snapped open and the ice on his paw shattered abruptly. "Huh? Oh, sorry," he mumbled, shaking feeling back into his paw.
"I never had those powers when I was alive, so even though I've had them for a while now, I still am not completely used to them."
Ice flashed in his eyes as the thought, 'If I'd had those powers when I was alive -' ran through his mind before he quickly clamped it down. Smiling to erase the sudden thought, he asked, "Are you going to come back inside with me? You could at least have some soup before you leave."

syai glanced at fuyu worring alittle , " With great power who knows what one could achieve . though if you had it when you were alive . What happened wouldnt have changed . Those who had power surrounded me . protected me . and i .. was the last one left . before i died . I was gifted with the power of fire , and i thought if i had it then could i have saved my friends those who saved me . dont dwel on the past fuyu , you have those powers now , because they are to be used to protect what you have now. You learn from past mistakes and learn from experience , Dont let those of your friends that also died , die in your heart . they live in you memories . and your here now because they wanted you to be . your here because they want you to live on in there name and remember for them . I fear you give up to easily on your own so i am going to be here for the good times and the worst to help you carry on . I will be your rock if you want ," *he walks up to fuyu and nuzzles him gently * " i wont leave you . I didnt at the lake and i never will , for as long as your nearby , i wont ever leave . and neither didnt your friends . not in mind and certainly not in soul , but i will be her as a being . for you . if you'll have me by your side? "
*he smiles at fuyu gently *
" Soup . i love soup " *nugdes fuyu forward not giving him time to think on it , to protect him from what he feels he need to * " lead the way then silly . i bet is boiling over "

Stunned speechless at Syai's words, Fuyu nodded, swallowing thickly. He led his friend back to the house with a smile that felt fake on his face.
'I won't ever leave you. I promise'
The words of the past echoed through his heart and the pain, never forgotten, ripped through him once again. Outwardly, Fuyu had merely stumbled, but his inner self was thrown into chaos.
Pasting on a smile, Fuyu opened the door to his home cheerily. Inside, the pot of soup bubbled merrily, totally oblivious to Fuyu's pain. The soup smelled of beef and vegetables, a thick mix more like a stew than a soup. Wordlessly, Fuyu gathered bowls and spoons from his "kitchen" and poured out the hot meal. Unsticking his tongue finally, he offered a bowl to Syai and said with a smile, "Here you go. It has all the essentials - meat and greens."

Syai felt chills in the air all over he knew that what ever he tried to say to fuyu now would only make things worse. it felt like silent treatment back in his home land, darkness swallowed his heart as he being to feel isolated once again . his big mouth always landed him in trouble , He sipped the soup fuyu had place in front of him . saying nothing to fuyu as he couldnt . Syai never promised He wouldnt leave fuyu but fuyu never replied to syai wanting to stay by his side . He felt some what rejected as if he wasnt needed , he finished up the soup that his host had kindly given him and he walked past fuyu and to the door silently before he left , he said In a calm and silent tone " Thank you "
And with that syai left fuyu's house yet again and took a different path home through a damn forest so that if fuyu did come after him it would be harder for him to track . Seeing him once again would just make him feel worse. While entering the forest . it brought back terrible memories of his past . second thinking he shouldnt take this ways , he did any way , he jumps over the tree routes and through the Swap of Callacoy , looking at the swap lilies there at there most beautiful in winter, with a snow flakes touch the glisten, and with out the sunlight they bloom and blossom , syai continues his tract further into the forest before realizing he may have lost his way , turning back at this point was next to impossible and the day continues to go one and time beings to pass.

Fuyu stood up as Syai left, fighting the urge to call after him.
What right do you have to call him back to you? You have nothing to offer him. Nothing to keep him beside you. All you have to offer is the broken glass of your shattered heart. He'd only cut himself if he tried to fix you.
Fuyu hung his head, knowing his thoughts to be true. He watched the flame gladier leave, feeling a pain he was so familiar with.
"Farewell," he whispered as the door shut.
Ha! his mind whispered to him. You really thought he would stay beside you? You didn't learn your lesson the first time, did you?
Unbidden memories, buried but never forgotten seared the surface of his heart. He watched, trapped, as he saw another leaving him as well. The shadowed body of the one he thought he knew, as he walked away, never looking back at the broken boy left crying in his shadow.
Fuyu could hear a shattering sound in his ears as he realized what he dropped yet again. His tiny glass heart, smashed yet again on the floor of his chest.
Frozen, crystalline tears dripped from his mismatched eyes, tinkling on the ground like precious diamonds.

Syai trecked deeper and deeper into the forest not knowing it's end , weither he would die here in the vines that is the forest or some where else . but who should care , his past was nothing and his future was now nothing . He couldnt bare the pain of being alone any longer . He once has a lover before and felt the loss of that one he loved die in his very paws, he felt the last breaths and motions that left his lovers body , that one winterz night , A night such as tonight where the breeze runs through his fur , and around his paws, the forest is a constant reminder of the darkness that wraps over his heart .
syai looks around carfully for a way out knowing full well he was lost . he saw an opening and came to it , a wide open space beauty wasnt even good enough to discribe the heaven in which he set his eyes upon , Flowers blooming every where in the middle of winter 'Winter flower, just like that night'
He looked further into the field and there stood a strong and huge oak tree..The sight so familier . this forest ... so like the one back at home . on the night of his lovers murder.
he walks over the tall oak tree and looks up , his heart beings to hurt and swell up with pain , as if it were bleeding, his eyes water , he places his paw over his eyes in attempt to stop it
'Why are you crying ? There is nothing you can do now . why are you still living here . why are you still carring on ! why not die and end it here . you have no one . nothing . ' the evil voice in his mind begins to take over , his rage beings to boil and he hits his head on the tree to make it stop
"GO AWAY ! " syai shouts " leave me alone GET OUT "
he fights the devil inside him as hard as he can
'It is your fault , Your fault it happened, IT happened because of you '
"NO No ... its .. not true "
He sinks to the ground in pain and suffering .
' you have nothing , because of you , you lost the one thing that ment liveing , and now you lost the one thing that makes you want to carry on . that fuyu will never want you noooww . HAHA . IT IS ALL YOUR FAULT '
Syai's body weakens and the tears from his eye become rivers and his heart swallowed in pure hatred towards himself , and darkness shrouds his mind . " because of me . everything that i love , either dies or leaves me . because .... of me "

Submerged in his sorrow, Fuyu couldn't tell up from down. He took a few tottering steps and suddenly broke into a run, tears of ice littering the ground. Memories battered at his heart, urging him on.
'Run' they cried. 'Run until you die!'
'Run like you did so long ago!'
His head to the ground, Fuyu ran, blind to everything but the pain. Every time his paws touched the ground, it froze beneath him. He was leaving a trail of ice in his wake.
Suddenly, he tripped and his face hit the icy path he had made. He opened his eyes, tears still streaming down his face, to see what had tripped him. He couldn't help but chuckle mirthlessly at the sight.
Fuyu had tripped over Syai, who lay on the ground before a large tree.
He had run to escape the pain, but he had run right to the source. How ironic.
"Hitsuzen," he muttered through his drying tears, the ice freezing on his face.

Syai felt double the chill in the air and before he knew it he got hit by something (Cu-dunk) " OW WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK " syai stood up and turned around and saw fuyu lay there on the ground with tears streaming down his face , to match the tears in his eyes, syai quickly swept his tears away .. " Fuyu ... " he whispered . . not knowing what to say or do , his heart flickered with every emotion known to man or beast . he was speechless and couldnt even mutter anything , when he went to open his mouth no words came out . just air . he was stuck on what to say to the only one he really cared about . he hadnt felt this was in so many years . SYai just stared at fuyu with lost words .

Fear crept into Fuyu's mind, its black tendrils slowly growing within him. Fuyu took a step back, mumbling, "Syai .... I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I'm sorry I'll just go now you probably want to be alone and I didn't mean to follow you or anything I just-" He stopped to suck in breath, and backed up into the tree. Stunned, he slid down into a sitting position as his eyes began to tear once again.

Syai saw fuyu's fear quiet clearly as he started to back away . "It is ok .. fuyu " he said genltly , as he walked up to fuyu and rubbed his head against his and licked away his tears, placing his head ontop of fuyu's and pushing him down to the ground hugging him and lay by his side
"It is .. ok "

Fuyu allowed himself to be comforted by Syai. He leaned his head into the other's side and began to mumble quickly, as if he had a vast quantity of words to release in a limited time. "I promised myself I wouldn't fall for it again. I swore I wouldn't. I wouldn't care because it killed me last time. I wouldn't love because there's no such thing as love. I told myself that I could handle just being friends, that it didn't need to turn into something more. But it did, and I'm afraid. What will I do when you leave me? I've allowed myself to get too close!" He closed his eyes in an attempt to block the tears that just kept falling.

Syai , held him closer and whispered "It's alright . to be afraid, it is ok to feel afraid . i want to be by your side fuyu . lets just take it one step . at a time . you will see i am for keeps, one day you will see .. " he stops there and licks fuyu's ears lightly and licks way those tear that never seem to stop . " water . like fire melting the cold ice " syai whispered gently
"Come on . i will walk you back " syai nudged at fuyu's head lightly

Fuyu picked himself up onto his feet slowly, feeling as though he weighed a hundred tons. He looked at Syai with cold eyes and murmured, "You say that now. You say that you'll be for keeps, forever, but you'll leave in the end too. I'm too broken for you." Fuyu kept his head down as they walked, his bangs covering his eyes.
