Marching and concert are pretty close for me.
-Marching, because the feeling of a family is more evident, and I love being on the field in uniform and performinng. You get to perform often during marhing season.
-Concert because as a clarinet, I get more fun stuff to play. I love doing runs and you can actually hear us. Plus, we actually have melody during concert season. And I get to use my wooden clari Kiki<3

I like both concert band and marching band XD Heehee. Music's music, though it's easier to appreciate the music properly (in my own opinion; don't get me wrong here. . .) with concert band. sweatdrop Marching band looks like fun, though. whee

I personally love marching band better, you get to march around and you get to play really fun songs. Also the cadences the drums do are fun to dance and march to.

Definitely Marching Band. Reason? Marching band is fun, memorable, and when you play in the stands, you get to play as loud as you want. Concert Band is okay, but It's too organized. You have to sit a certain way, act a certain way, play a certain way, and you have to look a certain way for a first impression. I hate dressing in stuff that's "too pretty" which means, slacks and dress shoes and skirts and all that other bullcrap. :/ In Marching band, you could show up with a bed head, and nobody will care. They'll just think you're tired or worn out from the show. Plus, you can yell and scream at football games and not get in trouble. Total awesomeness! ;D

Marching band for sure. Concert season is not as fun even though some of the songs are sometimes interesting. It's just can't compare to marching band

Marching band all the way! I mean, I enjoyed both when I was in highschool, but there is something about marching band...yeah...and it gets even better once you get into college!!! xD My university travels to different high schools and we also host a competition every year, and the high schools treat us like fracking rock stars!!!! 'Gotta love it! ;D

Concert band. I feel like I can express more emotion in my playing in a concert setting. ALthough marching band performances bring me to tears.
