The waves lapped happily at her flesh as she stood still, eyes still welling up, the pain was slowly subsiding it had only occurred for a moment but the intensity she had felt was overwhelming. Eyes still water she turned to face Ayden, he had not meant her harm, she knew that, a small watery smiley slowly turned onto her face as she watched him, he seemed to be in more pain that she was, longing for her not to be upset from the feel of his emotions. Laughing softly for a moment she waded through the water towards him and tucked her head softly into his neck for a moment. He felt so warm; it was quietly reassuring to her. She could hear the beating of his heart, it sounded strong.

Staying in her new position she spoke. “Nothing to be sorry for, so nothing to forgive you big silly.” Slowly she raised her head and looked him in the eyes, the water dribbling slowly away from her own as she regained her composure. It was not the best idea to suggest to play another game, not yet any way, and probably not on the beach again for a while. At least the grass didn’t cut the flesh in such a manner. Smiling still she spoke once more, “walk?” Giggling she continued, “do you fancy going for a walk?”

He blinked a little bit at the quiet sound of laughter coming from her. He couldn't really see anything that she would laugh about but all the same he was glad she was. He found himself blinking more as she got close, very close.

Ayden's breath caught in his throat and he froze not entirely sure what to do with himself. This was a place he found himself more and more frequently these days. The contact was not something he was used to, even leaving with two mares he was never touched in such a way. Of course he lived with his mother and a friend of the family but that didn't matter.

He couldn't decide what to do for himself so he decided maybe acting like the other stallion's he had seen would be a good idea. He began to lower his head to rest it over her neck but stopped as she spoke.

"Huh...?" It was the only thing that came out of his mouth. He tried to figure out how that sentence related with her actions but couldn't really come up with anything. Girls were confusing. As she lifted her head he took a slight step backwards to give her a bit of room. "A walk? Sure!" It would make a nice distraction for him so he wouldn't have to feel confused.

Estelle smiled; before she spoke she was almost sure that he had begun to draw himself closer to her. Yet she couldn’t be sure, perhaps it was accidental? Still smiling she ran that thought through her mind, it seemed slightly strange to her, almost uncomfortable in its innocence.

Shaking off the feeling she refocused her attention to the question she had just asked, her smile beamed towards him as he accepted her proposal. It was surprising how much she was actually looking forward it to, perhaps that was simply because she would be able to get away from the bitter sting of the Ocean. Nodding in response she stepped towards him and nipped ever so softly at his mane before playfully wading through the water, splashing him in her wake as she returned to the beaches sandy shores.

He laughed as she got his mane and pulled his head away a little bit a large grin spreading across his features. It seemed she either hadn't noticed or didn't think much of his movement which was probably for the better. He sighed inwardly but didn't cease smiling. It was probably for the best anyway. He had been told several times by Dark himself not to try and act like him.

He gave his head a shake to remove all thoughts of the sort from it and started after Estelle. So what if he wasn't romantic. It didn't matter did it? Besides he had other things going for him. Like...like...

He stop and planted his feet firmly a mega-watt smile glowing on his face. "I have a lobster!" He proudly declared and just moments later he realised that he had shared this information with anyone who happened to have their ears open today. His mouth formed an immediate 'o' of oops while his ears drooped back against his head. "Heh heh...that wasn't supposed to be out loud...so...where are we goin to?" He said trying to cover his silliness feebly.

Estelle was oblivious to the uncomfortable situation she had thrust upon Ayden, yet she surprisingly did not really care, not in a selfish way, she just felt happy. This was the first time in a while that she had not felt the strong urge to run away or flee from the situation, she had always been slightly flirtatious, even to the point of 'leading' others on, although she could never see it. She chuckled softly wading towards the beach, the sand sunk softly below her feet, it was nice yet the small cuts on her legs stung slightly still. Forcing herself to remain composed and in control she tried to ignore it, concentrating on the happy thoughts.

Since she was mainly a solitary creature, Estelle did not have anything she could compare the situation to, nor did she had anyone she could talk to about such things after they had occurred. All she had was herself, so whatever she felt and thought often lead to the end result. It was common that if she felt confused she would walk in the forest and speak to the trees, watching them wave and dance in response to her thoughts and feelings, it was comforting to believe that there was always someone there for her to share her innermost feelings with.

Yet as he blurted out his comment about the lobster she couldn’t help but look around her ankles for the sign of the small creature she had spotted with Ayden earlier yet it seemed not to be near, at least not near her. She looked up towards Ayden and smiled, a soft giggle exploding from her mouth as she watched him. He was clumsy, yet she liked it. Before she could stop herself she spoke and nodded, "You sure do hansom." Estelle did not know what was going through his mind yet she found it…. Interesting.

As he asked his question she turned to look at the landscape before them, there was so much to see. The truth was she did not know where she was leading him, simply off the sand was her intention. Smiling she turned back to face him and spoke once more, her voice light and airy, "I don’t really know, figured we could" she paused for a moment, she knew that she wanted to fly more than anything else but did not know how he felt about such matter, or how he would react to the continuation of her sentence, "simply wing it." She had used that saying in the past, simply to stir sour emotions within those around herself. Cocking her head softly she allowed her eyes to watch him, he seemed almost sexy half doused in salt water. She spoke once more, "I sort of…" she stumbled as she spoke, "…just wanted to spend more time with you." A soft yet pale blush covered her cheeks.

He laughed at little nervously at the sound of her own laughter. He didn't mean to be such a goof. He really didn't. Life was just so boring if he tried to calm down though, and he liked that less then his silly slip ups. His brain began to grind to a halt at what she said.

'Handsome'.

Somehow he got the feeling he would have to get used to her saying things like that while he was around. It still shocked him, though, he just wasn't used to it at all. He blinked slowly a few times to start his brain up again. "Wing it, huh?" He asked taking a few steps towards her. His brain crashed again at what she followed her statement with.

He stumbled and then froze staring at her wide-eyed. Did she really just say that? He rewound his mind and watched the scene over to confirm and it did seem like she had. She wanted to spend time with him? It was times like these that he was thankful his face was covered by black as he could feel his cheeks heating up.

"D-do you really mean that?" He asked straightening up slowly. He was having a hard time believing it. Most people just wanted him to leave them alone because he was a bit strange.

Estelle continued to beam with a new found excitement, she felt so free being out in the open, it was nothing like the trapped feeling she felt when forced into a forest, unlike some of the Soquili she knew she had no wings to allow for a swiftly escape from such places. Yet as her mind wandered she allowed herself to eye up Ayden once more as if confirming her assuming that he too was flightless, perhaps some part of him could understand her, for that was the one thing Estelle searched for. Her entire life she had been shunned and mocked for her difference, her own father drove her away as a child as he could not understand her fascinating with stars, a fascination that slowed transformed into obsession as she travelled around, for they where always constant, never mean or cruel, they simply sparkled their shimmering light brightening up her evenings. It was pure bliss. Without even realising she gave out a small yawn, it was unusual for her to stay up during the day.

Refocusing back towards her current situation she was able to hear Ayden’s confused words, he seemed to be unbelieving that she would consider him important of her time, cocking her head softly she examined him, a smile brightly emanating from her lips. His features seemed slightly harsher than before, almost as if he expected her to insult him in some way. He stumbled slightly as he moved away, his jolty movements a sure sign of a sudden discomfort, her heart fluttered within her chest, had she insulted yet another person? It was an effect that seemed to be occur all to often recently, like a reoccurring nightmare she seemed unable to find anyone who she could simple spend time with. A soft flush crawled towards her cheek as she watched him; it was not fear that she noted behind his sparkling eyes but instead something different, something that did not seem to understand. A spark lit up in her mind as brightly as the sun as she took a step towards him, the realisation being that he was simply slightly naïve. Her heart pounded in her chest as she approached, she knew he was not overly comfortable with her touching him, but it was the only way she truly knew of expressing herself. She stopped before him, positioning her head so that her nose was mere inches from his own and simply watched him.

Moments past and she said and did nothing, just watched, listening to the splashing waves as they crashed towards the land, the leaves that rustled in the distance seemed all to inviting as a source of shade under the rising sun, but she remained in one place. Until suddenly a light lit up behind her eyes, a soft and gentle glow, she smiled brighter than before and spoke, "Of course I do." She nipped playfully at his mane before returning to original position and speaking once more, a cheesy child like grin upon her face. "That a crime?" Estelle did not understand his feelings, nor did she pretend to, her actions where simply the only way she knew how to be. Strange perhaps, but at least they were her own.

She didn't say anything. His heart hurt a little bit. She didn't really mean it, or so he thought. She was just trying to be nice to him or something. As she took a step towards him his eyebrows raised slightly. What was she doing? She took another step and then another until she was right in front of his face. He stood perfectly still and even held his breath slightly not entirely sure what she was doing.

Nothing it seemed. The moments passed and she didn't move of say anything she just stood there looking at him. A strange sort of nervous heat to began to wash over him. He shifted slightly feeling just the slightest bit uncomfortable but didn't look away from her. There was something in her eyes that just called to him. That one special thing that made them more beautiful then any eyes he'd ever seen. That one thing that he couldn't be sure of what it was.

He jumped slightly when she spoke and moved again, nipping at his mane. It took him a second to process what she had said but once it made sense a large smile spread across his face. "You mean it?!" He asked with all the excitement of a puppy radiating from him. "Oh wait...I already asked that..." He laughed from nerves but the sound was a genuinely happy one. He was, to be perfectly honest, beyond thrilled by this. So much that he couldn't quite figure out what to do with himself so he just stood there laughing and smiling.

Estelle found herself beaming as she looked at him, her nature had always been slightly flirtatious but there was certainly something about Adyen that seemed to draw it even more to the surface. His smile and laugh seemed to make the sun itself shine ten times brighter. She could not explain it.

As he laughed once more she couldn't help but join him, they both seemed a little awkward around each other. Perhaps that meant that he too had never experienced this kind of feeling before? Blinking she turned her head and then her body to face the direction they had begun walking. The colours in the distance also caught her eyes. Blinking once more she turned her eyes so that she could see him, moving her body and self into a position next to him. Giggling for the moment she imagined how when they walked she could purposefully 'bump' into him just to catch his attention. Smiling she spoke, trying to shift the attention away from their weirdness. "Why don't you show me around? Or something." She laughed once more.

Her heart was beating strongly within his chest, she was unsure what this strange fluttering feeling was, she could only hope that she would one day discover its true meaning.

The sound of her laughter joining his only made him laugh more. Normally it made him feel lighthearted alone but now it was also making him feel surprisingly awkward. It was like he didn't have anything else to say which was quite odd for him. Normally he didn't really shut up and said whatever was on his mind. Right now there didn't seem to be much of anything going on upstairs. His laughter died off and he peered up as though trying to see inside of his on head. It only served to make Ayden feel a bit dizzy so he lowered his gaze again.

"Ummm...okay!" He agreed cheerfully beaming down at the mare by his side. He liked showing people around he had been all over the place, he may not be the best guide to have but he was good enough! "Where would ya like to go? I can take you anywhere!" His mind seemed to be working once again now that it had a bit of a distraction. Every time he looked down at her it seemed that the thinking process slowed a bit though. Why was that?

"Oh wait..." He paused looking off towards the mountains. "Anywhere but the desert okay? There's someone who lives around there that might eat me if I show up..." He said laughing a bit nervously. He still remembered the face well, it had happened when he was younger but he hadn't forgotten. "So...where will it be?" He asked again hoping it wouldn't be too far. He wanted to stay with her for as long as possible but he had to be home by the next night.

Estelle smiled, unsure what to say or where to ask him to lead her. the truth was she was, or at least had been, an explorer herself before she settled in her quent little field lit only by the stars at night. She yawned a little, this was the longest she had ever managed to stay awake for during the day since she had been a young foal, and something the played inside made her want to try and stay up even longer. Smiling still she turned to look at him, nipping playfully at his mane once more.

A strange curiosity crawled over her as he added they could not venture to the dessert, she did not desire to but wanted to know why something their would mean him harm. "Dessert" she spoke absentmindedly as she looked to the ground. She had no memories of ever visiting a desert herself, her travels tended to involve mountains and greenery.

"Anywhere." She erupted, the words raced from her tongue like those released from an excited foal on their first adventure out into the world. She tried desperately to suppress a laugh as she spoke, but the words seemed to merge into a disorganized gabble of nonsense. "Aniwar the wincn tkes." Beaming in a embarrassed shade of scarlet she took in a deep breath before attempting to tell him once more, this time the words were certainly more legible. "Anywhere the wind can take us."

Ayden froze slightly as she mentioned the desert. He thought she wanted to go there for a moment. He relaxed as she changed her mind. That was good. He didn't much want to have to say 'no' to her. However, her change of mind didn't make much sense to him. What was she trying to say exactly?

He stared at her for a moment before laughing lightly. She was quite silly. He liked that. She was turning red and he grinned at her. There was no reason to be embarrassed around him. He made enough silly mistakes for at least a dozen people after all. When she clarified what she had been trying to say he nodded.

"Where ever the wind takes us huh?" He asked lifting his head to the sky. He smiled at the bright colors then looked back to his companion. "Sounds like a plan to me! Let's go!!!" With all the eagerness of a pup he took off over the sand to where he could see grass growing in the not so distant distance. This would be a great adventure! What a great way to spend the day.
