I have a high tendency to have full on conversations with pieces of my imagination that I know (and they know) are in fact imaginary. Usually friends, ex girlfriends, people I have a problem with, etc etc etc. It's a coping mechanism. Maybe not a thoroughly healthy one, but still. I talk to the girl I like in my head to build my courage to tell her how I feel, I talk to the friend who betrayed me to get me through the times I want to yell at her, I talk to my best friend to calm down. In the end I know the conversation only truly happened with myself, but in the moment, I need it to be with them, and until the moment ends, it's close enough for me.

I talk to myself a lot, actually so much that my family thinks Im insane. i talk to objects like they are real too, but theyve never talked back to me... I dont think its very odd to talk to yourself, because i catch other people doing it all the time. And it really does help when you need to figure something out and your thoughts are to cluttered. the strangest thing ive ever done, is talking to my self in third person... that was odd, i wont deny that.
