I listen to Metal only 1/3 of the time, the other third is electronic(usually a form of trance), and the last third is a mix between Rap and Noise/Industrial. confused Who else can say the same? I listen to a lot of Avant-garde stuff too... i only listen to metal 1/3 of the time too, but i divide my time between rap, punk, ska/reggae, blues, folk, jazz and classic rock I listen to punk, reggae, folk, jazz, classic rock, and lounge music about twice a month on average...I focus more on the ones I origonally mentioned. We seem to listen to different stuff though, I notice though metal that our tastes are very different. indeed. i prefere the raw BM, you prefer avant garde, etc etc The only kind of BM I like is very melodic stuff. yeah. and that's just one example. i havent listened to much electronic or noise material, what are some artists i should look up? Electronic: GMS Dark Soho Plastic Angel Necton Sun Project Penta (theres so many different styles, those are all trance, generally Psy.) Noise: Desolation Zone Ulex Xane Armenia Dead Rapist Slash Thy Veins Thee Virginal Brides

I think, as far as metal is concerned, I have a lot in common with Mega. Thrash, black, and such. I also do enjoy punk when others play it for me, I listen to some ska, and of course classic rock.

I was gonna put Death, but couldn't remember if you were a death metal fan or not. Personally, its one of my favorite genres, but I only listen to maybe 6 or 7 bands from it. It takes a lot for death metal to impress me, but if its done right, its definitely delicious. Like cake... blaugh
