Dwarves are ok...I mean you got some like Gimli that accept the Elvens and get along with them and then you have others that can be complete @$$'s...and they are quite stubborn and that can get quite annoying on occasion!

is lord of the ring the only thing you guys know about elves , thats so very sad how about this you all go out and by a book any good fantasy book and no matter what elves and dwarves do not get along it's like a law of fantasy

Sworight is lord of the ring the only thing you guys know about elves , thats so very sad how about this you all go out and by a book any good fantasy book and no matter what elves and dwarves do not get along it's like a law of fantasy -_-;; my... for all that talk you are unknowledgable. I am into alot of Fantasy. There are cases where Elves and Dwarves get along... course normally it is against a greater enemy or the elves have given the dwarves a large sum of treasure. Though as you say... most of the time Dwarves and Elves do not get along.

Eh. In D&D Dwarves and Elves are pretty averege tward each other. They respect each other, but kinda clash in terms of life style.

There really is no law of fantasy. Fantasy is all about make-believe worlds which you can do practically anything you want with. sweatdrop
Not all elves have to be tall fancy schmancy-pants with bows. XD;

It all depends on their attitude. Some are bad, but all the ones in stories I've read (Shannara, Elaine Cunningham) have been great. They all got great! HENDEL! crying sorry.
