Sora heard Brile leaving and Maix colapse to the ground. "Maix... stay there..." She said then quickly wrapped his leg where he was holding it. "Please don't hate me Maix.... I'm really sorry..." And with that She ran to where She heard Brile's footsteps. She wrapped her arms around Brile and turned him around. She pulled him down slightly and press her lips aginst him. When she pulled apart She whispered. "thank you..." To him then let him go and walked back to Maix wishing tha she could have gotten her sight back before. None the less She was glad she had done that , but sad that he was leaving. She walked back to Maix clowly and leaned aginst the entrence to the Dojo looking straight ahead. She honestly didn't care if Maix saw, Or what he would think, She just had to follow her heart on this one.

Maix's face became angry, having seen what he just saw. He struggled to his feet, limping out the door and heading into the opposite direction of Brile. He didn't say a single word as he limped into the dark forest.

*when sora suddenly ran up to him and kissed him he got a shocked look on his face and the first thing that ran through his head was what is she doing? he thought as she ran away. he then smiled and hoped the best for her as he turned around and walked away*

When Maix walked past her she was nearly in shock. At first she wanted to just let him leave. Then she realized that she couldn't. She couldn't risk what might happen. "MAIX!!!" She called out wanting him to come back. She felt tears in her eyes and desperately tried to fight them but she couldn't do it.She leaned aginst the wall and slid to the ground, holding er knees to her chest and hiding her face in her lap.

When Maix heard Sora's voice, he turned around, but he didn't take a step closer to the house. "Why?" He asked softly. "WHY SHOULD I!?" His tone of voice raised to an aggressive tone. "YOU HAVE YOUR NEW FRIENDS NOW, SO WHY DON'T YOU JUST GO WITH THEM!?!?"

Sora continues to cry and speaks softly but it almost seemed to echo through the water. "...because.... your all I have... in the end I know....they've probably frgotten me by now....they always do... your the only one who's ever stayed by me.... if you weren't here I'd have killed myself long ago....I deserve to die... and I would have put the world out of it's missery by now..." She said. Even as the water echoed her voice it weas obviouse that she was crying, it was obviouse that she was seriouse, she really wanted to die.

His eyes widened when he heard Sora's crying voice. The sheer sound of it almost broke his heart. He put his hand to his heart, clutching it. "Sora..." He said in a gentle voice. Without saying a single word, he walked to where she was. He fell to his knees and wrapped his arms around her. ".....I'm sorry." After he spoke, there was silence all around them.

Sora wrapped her arms around him hanging onto him. "Maix...I'm so sorry... for not listening... I just couldn't stand it... I don't take human form for reasons I've never told you... I should have listened but... I can't stant the sight of myself when I look in the mirror... it looks like mom... I'm so sorry" She said cryingstill. burrying her face in his chest as she normally did when she was sad.

"I miss her.... and I worry about you... I don't want you to get hurt... or kill yourself like dad.... You didn't know but...he killed her for a reason... and I know why... and every second I hate looking like her because.... I know what she did... and she broke his heart. I don't want to break yours, and I don't want you to kill yourself from the pain we all put on you." She said quietly. She kept quiet after that. Still crying, but it couldn't be heard. She dsoon found herself getting drowsy. She curled up to him and struggled to stay awake.

In all actuality, Maix didn't care about what his mother did. He really only cared about how his father reacted. "Our father..." Maix muttered. "...Was a coward. A coward who couldn't face the truth. A coward who couldn't handle the pain." He squeezed Sora tighter. "I wouldn't go out like that." He said, kissing her on the forehead. "I promise."

Sora was happy that he said he wouldn't go out like that. "He was heartbroken Maix..... he really loved her." She whispered then soon found herself falling asleep in his arms. She couldn't stay up long one thing she did wish was that she could see her brother again. it wasn't the same talking to him without her sight. The last thing She did was pull out and indian styled bell and make her wish, but she didn't have the strength to hang it. She just fell asleep with the bell in her hand as she laid in Maix's lap and slowly drifted to sleep.

Maix took the bell from Sora's hands as she fell asleep. He looked at the bell for a little while and silently made a wish. 'I wish.................I didn't have to wish anymore...' Maix quietly thought. He fell asleep, still holding Sora, dropping the bell in the grass.

~the next day~
Sora woke up and looked up to see maix. She smiled softly and laid back down. WAIT! She Could See! She was so happy but she didn't want to wake up maix. So she just laid there untill he woke up. She was happy that they were friends again and she didn't want to ever have a fight with him again. She still had one more question for him, but she decided to ask him at breakfest.

The sun shone through the clouds, directly into Maix's eyes. He let out a groan as he covered his eyes. He looked down and saw Sora wide awake, still in his arms. "How long have you been up?" He asked in a groggy tone.
