Darek stood shocked and amazed. To think he had begun to think that the stories were just stories. "How.... What do you mean, that we are to dragoons? That sounds..." He was going to say insane but his own hopes stoped it right there.
"Yes, the stories are true, every word of it. Now you all must make a choice. Will you continue my story and live the dangoruse but, thrilling life of dragoons. Or will you end it here and begin smaler stories of your own. You must all make the chioce and *cough* you must make it now. For I have little time to tell you what you must know to continue on." The old man looked at them all solumly.

Katara was shocked. It was so giving, and unreal she thought it was one of the countless dreams that she had. But just one look at the colors and the Old Dragoon's face made it sure it wasn't. She thoughyt about five more seconds later before speaking, "Well, I don't having a small, boring life is for me." She smiled widely, sooting her chair closer to to the old dragoon, "I'm totally in." As she said the last bit, her eyes went towards Darek with hope. Then they traveled around the group.

*The stones were beckoning to me. Perhaps it was one in particular but I could not tell. All I knew was that THIS was a once in a million life times' opportunity. My eyes practically glowed and I grinned my cockiest grin. I stood up, tightly gripping the hilt of my father's old sword.* "My dear old man, if thought for one moment that Korrin Ryle would back down you're loonier than I ever thought you were!"

Katara peered into the box, her eyes lingering for a bit. She didn't care about the other colors, she just saw a bright red one. She hoped she would get it. She was drawn to it. She shivered with excitment as she smiled weakly. Giving up trying to smile, she was left peering around the cottage, saddened by the fact that the Old Dragoon was left to his last minutes here.

Darek was transfixed with a saphire stone. His eyes could not leave it. But his plans for the future cnflicted with his dreems. He had spent so much time planing for the steps he thought he was going to take. He looked at the ole dragoon. He felt him pleading with his spirit. This man was truly great and had been the sorce of all his motivations. "I always did belive in your stories, old man. this is a gift and an adventure that I will take with honor."
"I knew you would say so." A tear rolled from his right eye as he looked at the others that had not yet answered.

Enzeru neared the old hut where the old dragoon lived when she noticed that the door was already open. Looks like there are others here this time. She was thinking about turning around, not liking the idea of being around others, but she made a promise that she was going to keep. She walked into the little hut with her same emotionless face. "I'm sorry I'm late Dragoon, I had a small prob;em back home." She saw that there was a box in the dragoons hands and she knew from the countless stories that they had to be the speres that belonged to the dragoons.

Kiana looked onto the ground and studied the position of the shadows from the trees. "It's about fifteen after twelve based on these shadows meaning I'm late." She quickened her pace and was able to get to his house in just under five minutes. Wiping the sweat of her head, she took the box out of her pocket. I really hope he likes it. She walked into the room and was suprised to see that there were so many people here, exspecially Enzeru who never came here with others. "Did I miss something?"

((AHAHAHA well.....Gillbert is gay. He just doesn't know it yet. mebbe hes bi. i dunno....dayum u guys post FAST could u slow down just a bit plz?!?!?! ))
Gill sat with his head tilted a little to the left and was staring, with his mouth open, at an orb/stone kind of thing that was so clear he could see the light pulsating from the middle. A shiver ran down his spine and he smiled at the old man "Heh! I'm in!....but" his smile faded "What about Madison?" Madison was his sever year old sister. He didn't want to leave her to face the drunken fury of their father and the stress of hiis mom. He rubbed the base of his neck when he thought about his father. Every night when he came home, drunk of course, and he got mad....Gillbert was the one who got hurt.

Enzeru was listening in on what everyone else was saying. So the next generation has bee chosen. Does this mean that he's going to die soon? She felt tears swell up inside her eyes. Not wanting anyone to see her, she she turned and walked out of the hut, though she had only been there a short while.
