Morgana stepped in after him and saw it was pretty much empty. She moved forward and finally laid down, sighing a little wearily and closing her eyes. Her neck now just had a dull throb of pain, the bleeding almost stopping, but not quite.

Ketsueki layed down next to her, silently chewing off the bud of one of the flowers. "Here," he passed the bud to Morgana carefully. "Eat a few poppy seeds. There's a substance in them that supposed to ease pain... Though don't eat too many or you might feel sick." He pressed against her with concern, hoping the seeds would help her sleep without the pain in her neck.

She looked over at him and to the flowers and she nodded, taking the flower from him and consuming a few of the seeds. They didn't taste all that good, but she trusted Ketsu and he probably knew what would help. After she was done, she laid her head down and closed her eyes, feeling quite tired.

He rested his head on his paws, ears tilted sharply towards the den entrance, listening carefully for anything that may be passing by. It was then he realized that he had never spent the night in the company of another. Ketsu normally never slept, feeling hollowed and empty while he travelled under the dark sky. Next to Morgana, he felt as though a void had been filled. Perhaps it was the way she was kind to him while others often tried to avoid him. He wasn't quite sure, but for once, he didn't feel alone. "I won't let anything hurt you," he murmured softly, closing his eyes. "Not while I'm here,"
